NEVER RECEIVED

I ordered product. Arrow said it was shipped & delivered. I never received it. They never charged my credit. Why would a business ship a product without charging my credit card. They blamed the problem on FedEx and would refund my credit card, which was never charged in the first place. The good news I'm not out any money. I usually order from Mouser or Digikey, very reliable and professional companies. Arrow is just the opposite. This will be my first and only interaction with these incompetent buffoons

They are unprofessional and lack any…

They are unprofessional and lack any sense of customer service. When we switched companies and the new IT company emailed them instructions (with a link on how to do it properly) to move our O365 service Arrow decided to SHUT US DOWN completely.
Either they have no clue how to do such a simple task (with instructions provided) or they are just (as previously stated) unprofessional and lack any customer service. Avoid them.

overnight shipping? more like 6 business days

I ordered a 3.3v microcontroller and they shipped me the 5v version instead. When I complained, they told me I would have to place a new order to receive the correct part.

Placed a new order (OVERNIGHT shipping). Two business days later (!) the order was still not shipped. They finally contacted me and said they had no stock of the part, even though their website listed hundreds in stock.

The remainder of the order was delivered 6 business days after it was promised. On an overnighted order. Unbelievable. I will never order from Arrow again. Digikey and Mouser would never treat a customer like this.

If all goes well, they are OK. Otherwise, forget it.

If they have what you need (in stock), and if all goes well with your order, then they are great. If not, it is horrible. I placed an order on June 5th for delivery on June 6th. All was fine on my end. It never showed up. I tried to call, and could not get through, and they were supposed to return my call. They never did. Sent TWO emails - never responded to either. Called two more times. The first time, same thing - no callback. The next time I actually got through, and they said that there was an issue in their system and it stopped the order from shipping. The agent said that it would ship today. We'll see.... When I asked about the extremely poor customer service, she said they were understaffed. I don't have these issues with DigiKey or Mouser.

Buyer beware....

They will make it right if they can!

I ordered the wrong driver and realized it after my item shipped. I called the arrow customer service and they refunded me instantly! Not only that but I DID NOT have to pay any return shipping on the wrong item! Not only did they answer my phone calls but then issued a credit memo by email instantly and responded to my email within a day regarding what to do with the wrong part. As it states in their policy this does depend on how much money your items cost and if the actual supplier of the parts is willing to take exchanges. Arrow made it right and I will order any drivers I can through them from now on.

Amazing customer service, just call them!

Awful

I placed an order for the amount of X. Two days later they send a message that there is a problem. They ask me to repay for the order. Except this time they send a bill for X + 21%. I do not expect treatment like this from a reputable seller. The amount at the checkout is what I expect to pay, not over 21% more when they arbitrarily decide.

An altogether nasty experience for me.

An altogether nasty, drawn out and irritating experience for me.

Arrow will spam your credit card with activity. Some vendors will perform an authorization and then charge again a little later, cancelling the authorization. This is sub-optimal enough for people watching credit card activity and credit line, but is easy to spot with two charges of the same amount. Arrow goes above and beyond and subdivides the order for their own convenience and charges a spam of un-intuitive amounts spread across an un-intuitive timeline ( whenever they get to it... days ).

Due to this confusion, I rejected the delivery of the packages, believing that I had been charged for un-agreed upon shipping and/or parts I didn't order by mistake. Arrow again goes above and beyond and states that even though I never touched any package they can't refund me until they re-process the package entirely in the warehouse. Spoilers: It has been weeks and they keep saying it just takes time.

If you like to know where you stand and get an order completed quickly and in a clean fashion, regardless if there are mistakes made. Stay away from arrow.com. Arrow.com is not interested in a smooth convenient experience for you. In an event something goes wrong they will tell you, sorry this is just how we do things. I will not be wasting my time with them in the future.

Otherwise you'll probably be alright.

Glad I Disregarded Previous Reviews

I read the previous reviews for this company and decided I would avoid using it. After much hesitation, I eventually decided to buy from Arrow Electronics and had no problems other than a slightly confusing note on their website about delivery. Discussion via their online chat cleared that up.

I am in the UK. When trying to avoid Arrow, I looked for any alternative source and found there would be a £12 delivery charge from companies with a UK presence. This for a part that costs £1.37 and weighs next to nothing, The item under repair only costs £30 new (but has an inferior part in it that would need replacing in a few years).

Arrow ships from the US, but provided free international priority shipping. I got the ordered parts in 2 days with no delivery charge.

Placed a hold on my card for the order…

Placed a hold on my card for the order and instead of finalizing the hold, tried to charge me again for the entire amount of the order. When asked why they charged me twice, putting $4000 on hold on my card instead of $2000, the chat support just kept repeating "it's company policy."

Useless support, stay away, promos aren't worth it.

Arrow Direct or Broken Arrow? Terrible Customer Service

Ordered laptop paid a great deal extra for FedEX overnight shipping because I needed it before going on a trip. Got my shipping confirmation that said that it would be arriving a week later! Immediately called Arrow Direct and spoke with the most rude customer service person I have ever met named Charlene who kept cutting me off and saying how there was nothing to do except cancel the order. Asked to speak to a manager and she says "sure, you are speaking to the manager" and adds "my boss is the VP and he speaks to no one!". She finally agreed to get FEDEX on the line, they said it would be no problem to deliver next day for an additional $100 at which point Charlene says "if you want it next day you have to pay!" Already paid once for overnight shipping and $100 is half the price of the laptop. Looks like I'm not getting my laptop in time for my trip and leaving with a bad customer experience to boot.

Horrible

Horrible, horrible customer service. Won't answer emails, can't get a live person on the phone. Doesn't return phone calls when you leave a message. I've been trying for 7 days to get an order shipped to me and all I get is the run around. Unbelievable.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service.
1. Placed my order and it wasn't shipped for a week even though next day shipping was offered.
2. An item I ordered was just removed from my order as it became out of stock in the wait to ship my order.
3. Had my fedex account added to the order via live support to cover international duties but ended up being charged for all the shipping. Which was $60 on a $20 order.
4. Customer support didn't care about the mix up their support made in charging me shipping and refused to do anything other than offer 10% off next order.
Will never be ordering from this company again.
FedEx however was very helpful in reversing the charges back to Arrow.com

Unfair shipping charges

I ordered a product from their website. I added my FedEx account to be charged for the duties (the shipping was overseas). I ended up paying the whole shipping which was 4 times the value of my order. I had to write one email and talk with to useless agents. In the end a chat person refund me the value of the order. The shipping still remained on my part.
They lack the willingness to help. I will never deal with arrow.com.
