Great teachers, materials but lack of any outdoor time an issue
My 9 year old daughter had a good time doing an all day Easter holiday art-k workshop in Burgess Hill, West Sussex with a friend. She made 2 beautiful artworks. The only downside is she and the other children were indoors all day - even for lunch - because the location has no outdoor space. And it was a beautiful, sunny day!
I wonder if they could walk all together 5-7 minutes to a nearby park and have their lunch there, on green grass and under a shady tree? I hope the organisers will consider this suggestion for future workshops.

We really appreciate your thoughtful suggestion as well. We completely understand how nice it would be for the children to enjoy some outdoor time, especially on such sunny days, we were very lucky with the weather over the past few days. As much as we’d love to do this, taking the group off-site to a nearby park involves additional supervision, permissions, and safety considerations, which would increase the cost of the sessions.
That said, parents are always very welcome to collect their children during the lunch break and bring them back afterwards if they’d like them to get some fresh air, although we understand this isn’t always practical for everyone who books full day sessions.
