My daughter has been here since 6, and 4 years on she loves it!!! Best art classes . We go to hamstead and they are awesome

My daughter really enjoyed this art camp! She was a bit nervous to go, not knowing anyone, but the teachers were great and at pick up on the first day she asked me to extend her half days to full days where we could. The variety of different art forms to choose from was great and the class sizes were small. My daughter learnt a lot from the teacher input and also had a thoroughly nice time. Thank you!

My son has been coming to Art-K in West Hampstead on a Sunday for a couple of years now and he loves it.
Lucia creates a lovely, calm atmosphere where my son's creativity is nurtured. We didn't sign him up so he'd get good at art but he has just won his school's art prize and his screen print has been entered for the Junior Royal Academy too!

Took the plunge and started classes with Jacobus in September 2024 having not painted for nearly 40 years. It has been such a revelation and I'm loving the experience. The classes are warm, welcoming, incredibly informative and cater for all levels. Jacobus is a wonderfully calm presence and a great teacher - I honestly can't quite believe what I have learnt and managed to produce. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to reinvigorate your creativity.

My daughter has a lot of activities but this is by far her favourite. She absolutely loves going to Art-k. Not only she improved her art skills by developing her observation and attention to details but it also boosted her self-confidence. The teachers are fantastic, caring, patient and guiding. They are definitely part of the reason why she loves Art-k so much.

I’ve been taking art classes since last year, and I have to say, it’s been such a rewarding experience! The classes are relaxing, fun, and the atmosphere is always positive, making it easy to unwind and focus on creativity. Jacobus, my instructor, has been incredible in guiding me through new techniques and styles, and his passion for teaching really shines through. Each class feels like an exciting step forward in my artistic journey.

My son joins the holiday camps offered by the same studio. He’s been learning so many new skills—skills I didn’t even know existed! It’s amazing to see his progress, and it makes me even more excited to continue my own artistic exploration. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to dive into art or improve their craft!

My daughter Bianca is 12 and has been attending Art K classes for years. She loves it and it is her favourite part of the week to be able to go and express herself with paint clay and all other wonderful materials. Jacobus is an inspirational teacher and always supportive and attentive.

I've been attending Art K drop in classes at the West hampstead branch for quite a few months over 2024 and I have LOVED it! Jacobus, the studio teacher and facilitator is so very generous with his attention to everyone's projects and ideas and always happy to help in any way he can. The vibe is relaxed and joyful, it's a fabulous place to hone art skills, relax, learn something new, express oneself authentically. There is a very friendly atmosphere, and it's a genuine pleasure to create there.

Amazing venue, activity and hosting by Lucia. My 10-year-old daughter had a lovely time. Really relaxed and calm and made a fantastic birthday party.

the Teen art classes at art-K are brilliant. A calm and creative atmosphere, excellent and knowledgable teaching for young people looking to extend their art practice and knowledge beyond the classroom

My 7 year old had a great time with Art-K. He won a 2h voucher from his school and we decided to put it in use.He was quite shy about going there but he came home with a big smile and wanting to go again. The staff was very supportive and advised step by step regarding booking with a voucher. Thank you Art-K.

I started coming to the adult classes two years ago when I lived locally. I’ve since moved further away but still come back to West Hampstead every week! The classes are simply the best, I’ve learnt and developed new skills and my confidence in technique has grown too. Huge shoutout to Jacobus for all his support, the warm welcome at the door and for creating a calming hub to escape to each week. I’ve also made some lifelong friends through the classes, and I have art-K to thank for that!

I think simply put, Art-K hires superb staff. Each of the teachers/ helpers / assistants we’ve encountered cares deeply, has a real interest in drawing out our daughter’s creativity, and wants to encourage and nurture her skills. She loves her classes and her progress is undeniable and in great part thanks to the Art-K West Hampstead team.

My son has been taking classes at art-k since he turned 6 and it’s now been 2.5 years that we have been going every single term. He’s learned amazing techniques and has done some beautiful pieces and now is allowed to explore further and do the kind of pieces he’s most inspired to create. Jacobus has been fantastic with the children and it’s been fantastic seeing the children flourish in his classes.
