My son goes to Art-K holiday club in Hove and he loves the fact that at the end of the session he'll be bringing home a piece of art done there, while being with other children, chatting and having a good time. I would recommend it to any child who loves art and creative activities.

My daughter LOVES Art-K so much, she learns so much and comes home with the most wonderful paintings and clay work, what a fantastic place with the nicest staff so lucky to have this as our local club.

My daughter loves Art K, it is a lovely environment for any child who enjoys art.

My daughter has been attending Art-K in Hove for three years, and I honestly cannot praise this place highly enough. She has selective mutism and is very anxious outside of home, so finding an activity she both enjoys and feels safe in has always been incredibly difficult. Art-K is the one thing she genuinely looks forward to every week – she has never once refused to go.

Richard and the team really understand her. They never push her to speak or participate beyond her comfort. Instead, they create an environment where she feels seen and accepted. Because of this, she has gradually started speaking to both other students and the teachers, which is something we never thought we’d witness in a group setting.

The artwork she produces is beautiful, and she is so proud to show it to our family. We are continually amazed at the variety of materials and techniques she gets to explore – from clay and papier-mâché to textile painting and more. Every project feels meaningful and thoughtfully guided.

Art-K has given our daughter confidence, joy, and a space to express herself freely. We are incredibly grateful.
We can’t recommend Art-K enough for any young person who loves creativity, regardless of ability or confidence level. It’s a special place.

Joining Art K has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had, fulfilling a dream of doing something creative post retirement.
The easy, relaxed atmosphere and the easy, relaxed expert guidance of the teachers, has enabled me to achieve a standard of work I never imagined in my wildest dreams.
I would highly recommend anyone with creative dreams, to join Art K, for the sheer fun and joy that creativity can bring.

Amazing place for young artists or GCSE preparation.

We had such a blast at my daughter's Art-K party in Hove this weekend. Lauriann and Alice who ran it were superb and it was a lovely calm focused activity for them all that really held their attention.

They were so proud of their creations and I'd recommend it to anyone. For 2.5hrs it was good value too per head.

My grandchildren enjoyed both days. It was educational, fun and lovely environment.

My 7 year old son has been going one day a week in the school holiday time . And he absolutely loves it . He always goes running in and is beaming with delight when he leaves , so proud of what he has made each day .

He has gone along each day not knowing anyone and always came away making new friends.

I would highly recommend sending your children to this amazing art club . All the staff members are so friendly and enthusiastic . And make it all feel like a very fun , safe and creative place to be .

My children have been attending the Hove art-k for a few years now after school and they absolutely love it. I’ve been so impressed with the range of materials they get to use and the skills they are practicing and learning. They are so proud of what they achieve and clearly really enjoy the process. Highly recommend!

My daughter loved her day there. The set up and format was great. Fantastic teacher who was very good, quite nurturing to the kids and she learnt so much in one day. Only downside, is quite expensive for a kids club..

Good to learn art for kids. Very patient and my daughter loves to attend the class every week

Joined one of their first parent-child Christmas workshops (although my son had previously been to the regular classes) and it was really relaxed yet still learning all about how to use watercolours and techniques we could use to bring our watercolour painting to life a bit more.
Richard is a true artist and happy to answer any questions you have about art or techniques or his background!

Both my children have thoroughly enjoyed classes at Art-K Hove. They get to experience a range of art techniques and have fun!
