Lovely party, very well organised with friendly and professional art teachers. Just right for group of teens to enjoy time creating together and celebrate a birthday. Thank you.

The classes have really helped build his confidence, and he feels proud of his art. I’ve been very impressed by the team’s patience, dedication, and the way they encourage creativity while naturally teaching different artistic techniques.

Our experience with Art-K Kingston has been great for both of my children. They offer a very inclusive and supportive environment and the staff are relaxed and friendly. The programme of work is not prescriptive and allows for flexibility and personal creativity. I highly recommend Art-K Kingston.

My son had his 7th birthday party at Kingston. Anna was fantastic, she kept the children busy and entertained and all of them were very happy with their creations. However, I would suggest to stick to the suggested timings on the welcome pack, as she started the project almost 20 min after it was supposed to start, which felt a bit rushed at the end, with only 20 min for the kids to eat and cut the cake, and Anna and colleague had to finish up sticking the last bits on the canvas. I think if timings were followed, kids would've been able to finish their artwork piece and at least had 30 min for food/cake. I think the fact that there's only one hairdryer also slows things down a little bit. Overall it was a great experience, and as I said, Anna and colleague were great with the kids, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and super kind with them helping them at all times and answering all their questions. My son loved his party! Thanks a lot for making it enjoyable!

It is so hard to explain to them, no matter what happened. My daughter had missed 3 lessons due to Yr 6 production, school trip and meeting with the Yr 7 teacher in her new school. Had tried to rebook missed lessons almost every day, but the system won’t allow me to book as they are fully booked. In their terms and condition, it just mentioned that you can easily rebook for missed lessons, but nothing was written that it should be rebooked and completed the lesson within that term only. Since they are open every day even on summer break, I thought that I can just easily rebook the missed lessons, but as soon as the term had finished, the missed lessons rebooking was also gone. Had spoken to the manager, but they said there is nothing they can do as the term had already finished. In July and August, there were available slots but they could not fit my daughter. So £75 was gone. Many emails but no response. Be careful with this company.
Thank you for the reply. These missed lessons had been cancelled with 3 to 7 days notice before my daughter’s lessons. I spoke to the Communication lead in July 2025 and was advised to contact the branch manager
as they allow one lesson to rebook. But the branch manager said there is nothing he can do as the term had already finished. Even the computer did not allow me to rebook, he said nothing he can do about it.

Our 8 year old had an Art-K party for her birthday at the weekend. She’d chosen to create a mixed media flamingo, which was described as A3 artwork using watercolours and fineliners, embellished with gemstones, ribbons and more. The reality was a watercolour painting with fineliners and a few stick on gems. The artwork was completed with more than 45 minutes of the party time still to go, not ideal with a group of restless 7-8 year olds. The children all created a lovely piece of artwork, however the party should either have been at least 30 minutes shorter, or the described mixed media been available to embellish their artwork so that it wasn’t completed so quickly. I’ve read many wonderful reviews for the art classes and workshops, however I don’t think the birthday parties for young children work well, based on our experience.

Great sessions - the instructor tapped into my daughter’s talent for charcoal sketch just by observing her and encouraging her to give it a go ! Huge thanks

Love every moment of it! I’ve attended adult art classes for more than a year and having this class is therapeutic to me.

I have been going to weekly classes at Kingston since September. Erik is a very kind and patient teacher, he’s always positive about everyone’s work, which creates a friendly calming atmosphere.
Since I’ve joined I’ve tried acrylic landscape, portrait, oils, mixed media, sculpture, printing, inks and charcoal sketching. There is always enthusiasm for trying something new.
I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from day to day stress and be creative.

My daughter is on year 9 and she loves art-k at Kingston upon Thames. The staff is very nice and helpful and let her free to paint at her own path but they are always there offering advice and help.

Our 6yo daughter loved 2-hour holiday course in Kingston branch. Best part and difference from other art courses is that they give different projects to each child depending on their age (so during the same course, a 6yo does not do the same as a 11yo does, teachers personally help each child).

My daughter loves to attend art classes with Eduard and his amazing team. They are amazing, they know how to inspire the children and I can't recommend Art-K enough. Thank you for helping my daughter in achieving her potential.

My two children have thoroughly enjoyed their classes at Art K Kingston. Erik and Eduard are wonderful supportive teachers who have a kind and nurturing manner with the students. There's a wide variety of exciting projects for children to work on at their own pace, and my children are always proud of their creations. I would highly recommend these classes.
