My daughters have been going to this class, and they absolutely love it. Sarah and her team have been incredible. They always encourage them, they are patient with them, and they learn so many new techniques.

Art-K is brilliant
Art-K has been a fantastic experience for my son: the teachers are brilliant and really individualise the experience for each child. When you walk in at the end of the class, every child is working on something different and I’m always super impressed by the skill and variety.. My son has learned a lot of art techniques since starting and it has really built his confidence and skill.

Expensive for what it was
A bit expensive given the duration which is only 5 hours and kids get nothing for snack. Not even a cracker. Toilets were also not very clean hence my child refrained from using it and that’s not good.
There are other local art clubs where 6 hours cost 50 pounds rather 66 pounds for 5 hours.
Not sure if I will use them in future.

Thank you for your review. We accept the toilet is not the most modern, but is available and used by all students. While this and pricing are at the mechanical level of the studio, our content is what sets us apart from others. From the start of workshops, students start making choices, about which project to do, and then throughout the project. One of your children did an acrylic jellyfish pointilism piece using cotton buds, acrylic and paint pens. She then did a watercolour character rip pop-out scene. And your other did the London city scape project (which he was very excited to do as he has a passion for London's attractions), and then created a clay piece. And yes thanks for clarifying that students should be a pack lunch. In workshops - because there are ad hoc students that we don't know so well as our term time classes, part of our mitigation for the risk of allergic reaction is to not offer any food.
Our priority is to provide an enjoyable engaging art activity, and we are OFSTED registered which means there is an audited child safeguarding standard - and if there's a next time, please take care to pay by Tax free child care vouchers which gives 20% off. In the meantime, we'll review the toilet facilities and see what we can do to modernise.

My girls love the holiday art class and ask to go back during every school holidays! They've learnt so much and come home with lovely artwork. I'd definitely recommend it!

My son attended three full days of Summer Art Camp at Art-K during the summer holidays. Each day he came back with two fantastic finished projects, having worked with different styles and products. I could not believe how much he achieved in 5 h each day. He likes art but I was unsure whether he would enjoy such long and intense art filled days, being more used to sporty pursuits, but he absolutely loved the experience and has asked to return for regular classes. He made new friends and developed his skills as an artist. Five stars all around!

I love going to Art-K because I learn many techniques and the teacher gives good advice on how I can improve. The projects are really fun and I am happy with what I have made so far. Another thing that I enjoy there is the friends I made.
