This is the place where you can find what you need

What I liked the most about Artilist, is the variety of options specially for video generating.

Also their costumer service is amazing (Thams), I need to to cancel my subscription for a current time, and I forgot to cancel the auto renewal, so I was charged for a new subscription. This matter was solved at the same day.

Great idea

Great idea, great product... but too, too often the website is just super super laggy. It' s been like this for quite a long time...

If they could just fix this one major problem, I'd be a fan for life. Currently, I'm kinda regretting my one-year subscription... Unusable and has been for the last 5 hours.

Scammed, doesn't work

Setup and account, paid an annual subscription and then went to generate my first video. It immediately said I didn't have enough credits and that id already used nearly all of them. Submitted a ticket to support who simply replied, you've used you credits to create multiple videos. Yet there's no videos in my account.

Total scam, cancelling and contacting credit card company to get my money back

Excellent Customer Service

I've been using Artlist for the last two years for freelance and agency work and I'm very satisfied with the service. It's currently my first choice when it comes to finding footage or music.

I also just received excellent customer service support. My annual subscription had been automatically renewed, but I thought it had been canceled. After I requested cancellation, I was promptly refunded the amount the same day.

The system could not do what i wanted and they refused to refund. I provided a detailed prompt and it:

1. it could not do a scouse accent which is critical to my production
2. it did not create the video to the right length - 5 seconds instead of 12 seconds so it was very fast and couldn't be changed with prompt editor

Zero usage, zero flexibility — a customer who tried to stay, refused

In September 2025 I bought an Artlist yearly subscription. I selected the wrong plan by accident, and support kindly switched me to Music & SFX Social Yearly. So far, so good.

My circumstances changed and I never used the account — not once, across 7.5 months. With around 4.5 months remaining, I asked support a simple question: could I just apply the remaining ~€50 of subscription value toward their cheaper AI Starter plan (€11.99/month annual), so I could finally try the AI tools that originally interested me? The math worked out to almost exactly 4.5 months of coverage — a clean trade with no money out of their pocket.

Artlist's own AI Agent on their website explicitly told me: "I'll need to escalate your request to our support team. They'll be able to assist with converting your remaining subscription value into the AI-only plan you desire." Direct quote from their own automated channel.

Four different human agents then refused to do exactly that, citing the 14-day refund window — even though I wasn't asking for a refund, and even though my account had zero usage. No goodwill exception was offered, despite the situation being genuinely unusual: an unused account, a willing-to-stay customer, and a request that would have cost them nothing.

The net result: Artlist keeps €60 of unused subscription value, and loses a customer who was actively trying to spend more, not less, and who would likely have upgraded if the AI tools had impressed him. From a retention standpoint, the math is genuinely strange.

The individual agents were polite throughout, which I appreciate. But politeness without flexibility on an obviously reasonable goodwill case left a much worse impression than a firm "no" from someone authorized to make exceptions ever would have.

If you're considering an Artlist annual plan: think twice. The product may be solid, but the company has clearly chosen rigid policy enforcement over basic customer retention common sense.

SCAM on Subscription

I really wanted to like this platform, but the experience has been disappointing.

The main issue is how the credit system works in practice. Credits are deducted every time you generate something, even if the result is incomplete or not usable at all. With AI outputs being inconsistent by nature, this quickly becomes frustrating.

What makes it worse is that there’s no flexibility around it. Once credits are used, there’s no refund or adjustment, regardless of the outcome.

The platform expects you to keep experimenting and refining prompts, which is fair in theory, but in reality it means you’re paying repeatedly for results that often don’t meet a basic usable standard.

Overall, the experience feels one-sided. There’s potential here, but the current system doesn’t inspire confidence as a paying user.

5 years with Artlist

I’ve been using Artlist for about 5 years and can say only good things about it. Large and unique music library for creators, very cool artists and excellent customer support (they answer really fast!).

I used this service through their…

I used this service through their website and had a very disappointing experience.

A feature was presented as image-based, but it actually triggered a video generation that consumed a large amount of credits without a clear warning.

I stopped the process immediately once I realized, and I did not receive any usable result. Despite that, my credits were still deducted.

Customer support refused a refund, ignoring the fact that the feature was misleading and the usage was not intentional.

This is not fair to users and shows a lack of transparency. I would not recommend this service.

I bought the wrong product last year

I bought the wrong product last year, and they gave me a partial refund, as it was my fault; it was fair enough. They had promised to cancel my account. However, they have continued taking out a subscription and will only refund me 1 month, while owing me 9 months, and then promptly closed my case. This is theft in my book.

It was a little difficult to reach customer service

It was a little difficult to find a way to reach someone - their "help center" link on the website came up 404. So I googled "contacting Artlist Help" and found a different link that wasn't coming up easily in the regular navigation. Once I sent that note, the team was very eager to help and effective with their counsel. My issue was resolved pretty quickly.

Support is not helping

I've been going back and forth with customer service trying to get issues resolved. The Pro plan I paid for said it was good for 5 members, but it did not have that. Support was trying to say I needed a different plan, even though the site clearly listed the Pro plan as having 5 members.

I reached out to customer service, and they said they made the correction, but instead canceled the plan on my account and made it go back to a free trial. I lost all the credits I paid for!!!!! And I have no access to those premium features. It's been frustrating to go back and forth with support over the last few days just trying to use this platform.

Currently, I cannot recommend it. I do hope someone can reach out to me and address this issue. I'm willing to pay and being a paying customer.

Artlist is legit. But the weak points is the interface, and the credits. I got 16500 Credit. I have under 6000 left, after 3 failed videos, 1 good video, 1 song, 1 video + song
and 1 image. With the 6000 I have left I can only make a few images. So you get extremly little for 20 us dollar.
The quality is good on the images and video, as you would expect with models they are using.
