Air conditioning installation in 3 bedroom house
I had chosen to go with Arton for air conditioning installation to the bedrooms, and I’m very glad I did.
Callum and Luca arrived early to prep for the day and started promptly at 8am. They did a fantastic job with the installation, and were tidy throughout the whole process.
They explained everything in layman’s terms from start to finish, and were highly knowledgeable and professional.
I’d recommend this company to anyone considering air con installation.

Disappointed with the last job
Disappointed with the last job, both in terms of the work carried out and the final price.
I’ve been using Arton for the past two years to look after the heating system at our hotel. My experience has been mixed, but overall acceptable — it really depends on which engineer they send. Unfortunately, this most recent visit has changed my view.
I called to report a leaking hand‑basin tap and explained clearly that it just needed a new cartridge. When the tradesman arrived, he had no cartridges with him. Instead, I was told both taps needed replacing. What should have been a simple one‑hour job to fix a leak turned into replacing two taps, taking five hours and costing over £300. Realistically, this should have been no more than a £150 job.
While some people may accept this, I worry about how easily the elderly or vulnerable could be overcharged in similar situations.
Sadly, after this experience, I will not be using Arton again and will be looking for another plumbing and heating company.

At Arton, we always aim to be fair and transparent with our customers, and we certainly never intend for anyone to feel overcharged.
The original issue reported was a leaking basin tap. Upon inspection, our engineer advised that both taps required replacement rather than a simple cartridge change. Unfortunately, without removing and assessing the taps on site, it is not always possible to guarantee that a cartridge replacement will resolve the issue.
The work carried out included supplying and fitting a new pair of taps, as well as replacing an additional pair of taps supplied by yourself. The total time on site also included removal of the existing fittings, installation work, testing, and ensuring everything was left fully operational.
While we appreciate your view on the cost, £150 is not a realistic cost for the work undertaken
We value all customer feedback and are disappointed to lose your custom after working with you over the past two years. We always strive to provide a reliable and professional service and will take your comments on board internally.
We wish you and the hotel all the best going forward.
First service carried out by friendly and efficient engineer.
The engineer arrived on time. He was and explained exactly what was involved in this first service.
The work was carried out efficiently with all paperwork signed off for my warranty.

Flume repositioned
We needed our flume moving from the side wall through the bungalow roof to allow us to build a “lean to” down the side. Without moving this, it wouldn’t confirm with regulations and would be unsafe due to the fumes from the boiler. I left it last minute and I ended up rushing around to find a company who could fulfil the job with a short turn around. Arton immediately priced up a job using images and videos of the proposed work which was very competitive. They agreed to send someone round within 24 hours to complete the work, they arrived on time and worked solidly for 4 hours. The job has been done to a high standard and with a quick turn around meaning our work on the lean to is not delayed or hindered. The lads were very clean and tidied up after themselves. They called whilst on route and communication was great.
I will be using them again.

Leak under sink
Found a leak under sink 30 minutes after moving into new home. Never personally had to call a plumber before and it was fantastic service from the initial phone call. Highly recommend and I will be using Arton for any further plumbing and heating services.
