I cannot thank Errol enough for the help he has given us, although we do not have a mortgage offer yet Errol has been so helpful and knowledgable about our options. Due to my partners credit history we have really struggled to get any advice or help from brokers we have normally been told we need a 20% deposit and then dismissed before even looking at his report and our efforts to rectify the bad history. We approached Errol to see if he could help and he has been straight with us from the start he has set out our options and then got us an AIP and explained due to having to go with a specialist lender what this meant in terms of how much we could borrow and monthly repayments he then compared this to if we waited for more lenders to open up as the score improved over the next few months/ year and how much this would bring down our monthly payments. Instead of pushing us into a deal that was not right for us and would cost us a lot more he actually highly recommended we wait and approach him in a few months time. All of the time and advice and knowledge he gave was all for free as no money is taken until an application for an offer has been submitted, and yet he still encouraged us to try and go for a better deal. A lot of mortgage brokers would not do this, we already know this having approached several others. We shall be staying in regularly contact with Errol and hope to have something sorted with him in the months to come. Anyone who is looking for help with a mortgage I would 100% recommend Errol.

Couldn’t do enough for us! After having had trouble getting a mortgage, Ashby Mortgages was recommended to us and we are so happy that they were. From the beginning Errol did all he could to help us get our mortgage and we were shocked at how well he got our rates and term. Even when the house fell through he helped us get another mortgage without a question. As a first time buyer, I had no prior understanding or knowledge of how to secure a mortgage. Errol has been amazing throughout the entire process.
