Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 262 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently received products that were not as advertised, citing poor quality, cheap materials, and incorrect colors or designs, often with sizing much smaller than expected. Many also experienced long delays in receiving orders, with items often shipping from China despite claims of UK origin. Reviewers consistently faced difficulties with the return policy and obtaining refunds, as the company often refused full refunds, failed to provide return addresses, and instead offered partial refunds (typically 15-50%) to keep unsatisfactory items. Additionally, many reported poor communication, with emails going unanswered or bouncing back, making resolution challenging.

I may be 1 of 1000 here but I ordered 2…

I may be 1 of 1000 here but I ordered 2 pairs of the Caithlyn Lace up vintage boots. I was shocked when they were diapatched from China .... my sister directed me to these reviewa and my first thought was, omg Ive been scammed by a Facebook ad, again. I messaged them, got a reply quickly. I do think they are maskarading as a British company but .... the order process was great, tracking was spot on, I cross checked daily and they used Royal Mail as the UK delivery agent so I was able to check the number was correct, they arrived and they are absolutely as described. For 50 a pair they are decent boots and they arrived on time. I needed a degree to lace them 🤣 but they look great and Im really pleased with them

Utter rubbish

It's a shame there is no option for minus stars. Cheap shoddy material from China. Waste of money, waste of time. It took so long to arrive I can't even be bothered to return it. Utter rubbish.

Why are websites like these not shut…

Why are websites like these not shut down by our government - whichever department that might be?
I ‘look forward’ to ‘potentially’ receiving the item I ordered.
Once again - why are they still trading??
I can’t yet as not 30 days since order - but for everyone else - you can complain to the company who are handling their payment process (Shopify.com) by visiting Shopify.com and clicking ‘legal’ (bottom of screen) then ‘report an issue with a merchant’ then ‘report a merchant’.

Avoid at All Costs

I should have known. I was taken in by the husband and wife, traditional English company vibe on Facebook and the website. I ordered a classic "Archer" jacket which when it finally arrived (from China, after weeks) turned out to be a shoddy, unlabelled made of some dreadful synthetic fabric - absolutely nothing like the garment in the picture. I was well and truly taken in and should have searched these reviews first. DO NOT BUY from this company.

Illegally supplied garments

I have to hand it to these scammers, the website and information within is convincing. The reality however is something totally different. It's not a husband and wife family owned business. Check them out on Companies House.
Alarm bells should have rung when I saw exactly the same hoodie advertised by another company.
As others have also said, a day or so after it was ordered an email came saying that they were very busy due to the promotion and delivery was delayed by a few days. Eventually got a tracking number 3 weeks later. Tracking website said it was being despatched from China, at which point I knew I had been had.
It took another week and a half to arrive via Royal Mail tracked postage.
The quality is shocking. Very thin material which does not hold any shape. It's not even the same colour as per the advert. The three quarter zip looks like it will be broken after a few times of wear.
The garment is a non-decrepit generic product with no labels other than an 'L' in the stitching of the neck line. Having looked up what is required for garment labelling within the UK, the Gov. website says it must have labels saying what the fabrics are. Therefore these garments are supplied in the UK illegally, contrary to the 'Distance selling act' on a number of points.
If, like me, you paid via a credit card you are entitled to a refund from the credit card company.

Just avoid

Just avoid. Total scam. Website looks genuine but should have checked in here first. Did get the jacket I ordered but it’s tiny and such poor quality it’s laughable.
They offered a 20% discount to not return (as returns at own cost) but I’d rather pay to return this piece of tat.

TOTAL SCAM DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

First time I have fallen for a total scam after an advert on Instagram flashed up which I would normally ignore. Very clever website which shows seemingly high quality clothing and saying its a UK family business. My heart sank when I recieved an email sent shipped from China. Arrived four weeks later (despite website saying it was 5-10 business days). Quality is the worst I've ever seen, zip doesn't work on one jacket, no labels in them. Clearly made in some sweat shop in China. I really wish I'd checked the reviews on here first. This is a total scam. I don't hold out any hope of getting a refund

Ashford & Clarke - SCAM COMPANY

I saw this company on Instagram advertising a coat that was on sale, and was very similar to the one Alexa Chung wore, and so I purchased the coat. I, mistakenly, did not check the reviews of the company beforehand, however, the coat arrived (very late) from China, which is unusual for a UK based company but the coat had no Ashford and Clarke branding on it and the lining and branding nothing like how it was advertised. The material of the coat also looks quite cheap and although I ordered a size 14, it seemed quite small. I emailed the company regarding a return query but have not heard anything. Scam company with scam website! I would have given 0 if I could! I was browsing on FB and came across a different company, Daisy and Lily, who were advertising the exact same coat and when I checked the reviews for that company they were similar to the ones for Ashford and Clarke.

Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful, cheap products. Can't believe I was taken in by the website. Like so many others, I wish I'd looked at reviews before buying. Lesson learnt. Returns aren't likely to yield any refunds, so I'm sending my purchases direct to a charity shop, where they may make a pound or two if they are lucky..

Avoid at all costs!

I wish there had been reviews on here before I completed my purchase. Item has (finally) been received, poor quality, awful sizing. I had already tried to contact them to cancel the order (and received no response) but on trying to email again, it has returned as undeliverable. I will be trying to pursue through my bank, but this 'shop' is now so obviously a scam. Avoid avoid avoid!

I bought a hoody

I bought a hood, when it arrived it looked nothing like what it was advertised as, made of very very cheap material. I feel totally done out of my money.

Dodgy dropshippers

Claim to be high-quality UK based clothing manufacturers but clearly just dodgy dropshippers. I ordered an item a couple of weeks ago which is apparently still in China, I’ve emailed to ask for a refund and got the brush-off. Avoid.
