Please do not order from this website. I ordered a jacket from them, it came, it did not fit and was very poor quality. After several emails going back and forth over a few weeks, they basically would not allow me to return and offered me a small proportion of my money back. I eventually accepted as I was going no where with trying to return it. I have now payed £45 for a jacket that i can't wear and don't feel like I could sell for even £5.

This cosy seeming little outfit sets itself up as a traditional British old school clothing company with promises of easy returns .
VERY FAR FROM THE TRUTH!!
Firstly, they are nigh on possible to get hold of and when you eventually get a reply a sob story of a hub in The Netherlands is announced which effectively means you (ie: THE CUSTOMER!!) will have to fork out up to £40 to return the item - this is not previously mentioned on the website - you are then offered a 15% discount and told you can keep the item - No I wish to return it you say!! 25% then - No, I want a full refund. So far left hanging. I would advise anyone to steer well clear!! The suspicious amount of time the goods took to arrive shout China.

Scammers. Cheap trash. Gave it to the jumble sale.

AVOID AVOID AVOID this terrible brand. The coat I purchased in their anniversary sale was such poor quality that there is not a situation on earth where I'd wear it, let alone re-gift it which is what they have suggested I do when I wrote to complain and request a full refund. This has not been forthcoming. They say that the costs of returning it are high - I've told them I don't care, I just want rid of it and a full refund. Terrible customer service, clearly written by A1. Stay away from this company. The whole set-up is an absolute con job.

It's a fake rip off site.

Goods arrived not as described. Was offered 20% refund and keep the goods. I wouldn't been seen dead in the rubbish they sent. No thanks.

I ordered what looked like a nice cotton / polyester blend top that was in the sale reduced from £100 to £40. What arrived a month later was a cheaply made 100% polyester garment from China. I put it straight back in the packaging and requested my money back, but over the next few weeks received a string of apologetic emails telling me how much my custom meant to them and offering me discounts to keep the item. After about the 3rd email from them I decided to look at Trustpilot and discovered that like many others I had been scammed. I immediately instructed my credit card company to recover my money as it was clear that this Netherlands based company selling cheap Chinese made goods were not ever going to refund me.
If only I had checked Trustpilot before buying....

They just sell Chinese rubbish made of synthetics at high prices and then make it hard for you to return although claim 'hassle-free'.

This company is a SCAM. They advertise via Facebook and make out they are an established, family owned, UK company. They are not. They are a Chinese company selling shoddy, poor quality clothes at a premium price. Delivery takes an age, despite what they say returns are not accepted (they never give you the address to which you should send returns). Quality of the clothes is very poor and sizing is based on a nation of oompa lumpas rather than Europeans!
Avoid this company like they are the plague. Complain to the credit card companies so that they are stopped being able to charge customers on credit cards and fleecing innocent customers.

A scam....they refuse to issue refunds.
So once you have parted with your money, you have no way to get it back if the product is faulty or terrible quality (it is TERRIBLE quality- nothing like the photos and definitely not 'waterproof' as described).

Scam Chinese company selling rubbish that takes 14 days to arrive from China (not Oxford). They then repeatedly refuse to refund the product - offering increasing amounts of refund (up to 50% currently) instead of a full refund. Even if they did offer a refund I wouldn’t trust them to refund and so wouldn’t risk paying the postage to send it back to them in China. I through my jacket away as it was so bad that I wouldn’t insult a charity by donating it to them. Avoid at all costs.

There aren't the words to describe just how bad this business is... Every aspect is fake, seriously cheap chinese products the AI couple, the Oxford Address. Add to that the non responsive fake customer service agents and the very expensive European Returns Address. Apart from the fake product photos which are impressive theres nothng about this company that is legit. (£20+ Return cost!)

Horrendous items clearly not from the UK as advertised. Boots arrived after weeks of waiting. The smell of the item is foul, sizing is completely wrong and they are a very cheep quality.
They also make it incredibly hard for you to return your item, I am currently stuck in a long email battle with them that had been going on for 3 weeks. They avoid giving you return details, insulting your intelligence by saying the item needs to be returned to the Netherlands at your expense which is a complex and expensive process! They have now offered me a 50% refund if I keep the item 3 times - each time I have refused saying the product is only good for the bin and they still will not provide return details.

Garment took 16 days to arrive and when it finally arrived the quality was very poor frayed edges in the collar meant the zip jammed. Very disappointing and I would not advise anyone to buy from this company.

Shoes ordered were not sized correctly and not fit for purpose. I raised issue with Ashford Clarke and requested a full refund along with my offer to return the goods. I was initially offered a 10% refund, which I rejected. I wrote with my rejection of their offer and was then offered 30%. Again I refused and was then offered a 50% refund which I have reluctantly accepted, as I was fed up with going and back and forth with emails.
They convinced me that should they offer a full refund i would have to return the goods to Holland which would cost me half the cost of the goods.
To emphasise the quality of the goods, they have said that as I have now accepted their 50% offer, I can keep the goods!
Would not recommend dealing with this company.

Just as with all the other reviews which I wish I had read. Product is dreadful and you can’t return it! After many ignored emails an offer of a 25% refund!! Purchase at your peril

I am currently trying to return a jacket. They are not sending me details on how to return or replying to my emails.
Don’t buy from this company you will be ripped of!

Ordered items when offered another at half price. Told couldn't have 2 different colours so tried to cancel order. Ignored emails for a week then told couldn't cancel as had already been sent (cancellation email sent literally minutes after ordering). Even though received email 4 days after ordering that it was being sent. Goods arrived, not as advertised, poor quality etc etc. Had no response from emails since, just ignoring any communication. Will be taking this to trading standards and hopefully may get some help from credit card. Clearly a scam!

Really cheap quality, could have got better quality from Shein - pretends to be located in the UK but actually Chinese. Asked for a return and they eventually got back to me saying that returning it would cost me £20, and offered me a 15% refund to keep the item.

This is basically a rip off. You buy goods which look good. You receive goods that are rubbish. They offer to pay you back a small amount to save shipping, making returns difficult and knowing you will just accept it to reduce your loss. The money they return is obviously less than their profit margin hence they make money from people not fighting.

I have written to Trading Standards about them breaching consumer rights laws for a full refund in 14 days.
