Shocking experience. Awful quality and awful garments. Took forever to arrive. Trying to send back. No idea how to do so. I contacted customer service dept, one nice email but nothing since! I guess I have lots my money! Garments going in the bin, they are awful! Avoid buying from this site.

I wouldn’t give any stars, avoid like the plague.delivery was late, goods not good quality and trying to get them to deal with a refund isa nightmare. At 1 st they tried to offer a different size at a discounted price, which I rejected. Then cost to return £10 - £20, or they would let me keep good and give me 25% returned. Dreadful.

Ordered an M65 coat and it is absolutely awful - material is of very poor quality, zips finished back to front, construction and stitching is very ver poor quality. The item looks absolutely nothing like the advert - I have raised a payment dispute with my bank - please please please check first before you buy - it’s a total scam - not a uk heritage company

I placed an order for an item of clothing valued at £49. Discovered i had been charged £114.
I queried this and received a refund of £42 with a promise of speedy delivery.
The item when finally delivered was not as originally depicted, poor quality and far too small. The size guide was inaccurate.
Slow delivery.

Fake! I ordered a jacket size 10, I’m normally a size 8 and the coat won’t even go in my arms.
Looks more like it would fit a child, quality is also very poor. Tried to email them for a return but the email also appears to be fake.

WARNING. As others have sadly reported this is a total scam setup. I purchased a hoody on an instagram promotion. Took several weeks to arrive only to discover the material is the absolute cheapest quality there is. The company pretends to be a family run business based in Oxford for over 17 years. Complete lie. All the images on their site are AI generated, including that awful portrait of the two “founders” standing in front of an expensive looking shop front. Asked for refund and have been offered 15% refund and that it would be too expensive to return it to the Netherlands! So much for it having anything to do with the UK! Please avoid at all costs!

Beware this is a scam!!!! Website claims to be a shop based in Oxford UK! It’s not… it’s a drop shipping company in China but charging UK shop prices!!! luckily I have been able to claim my money back via my bank!!

Absolute scam shop. Bought a hoodie but terrible fabric. Cheap Chinese rubbish. Trying to get my money back but ignore all communications. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Can I give less than one star? Should have checked the reviews. Bought shoes. Cheap. Shipping in from China and size too small even though I am standard UK 6. Zero response from the shippers. A scam to all extents and purposes.

They are cheap and nasty in how they are made and are not like the pictures. I will chalk this one up to experience as I should have checked and it's my first insta-purchase-fail. Do not purchase.

It's a very cheap jacket. The company is pretending to be located in UK but it comes from China no benefit to any UK companies and dishonest marketing. Also takes a while to get delivered.

Agree with all the reviewers that say Ashford-Clarke does not even deserve one star. It is a scam. I bought boots which took 3 weeks to arrive (clearly coming from China) and totally failed to live up to their description. I tried to contact customer service and the email bounced back. I tried to reply to so-called 'Emily' who had emailed re the slow delivery time and was not surprised to find that email bounced back also. I donated the boots to the charity shop, will chalk it up to experience, and hope that someone at least is able to benefit from a foot covering this Autumn - at least for a short while.

100% Avoid - It's a Chinese scam, NOT UK BASED. I ordered a jacket 3 weeks ago, and all I have received are automated emails saying not long now. So I wrote to complain and asked for an update - the email address for support is support at ashton-clarke.com - which bounced. But the company is called Ashford-Clarke. Go figure - wish i saw this first

Photos show a M65 field jacket it is not what you receive.
What you get is the tattiest stitched attempted replica of a M65 jacket . I actually have thicker shirts than this bit of material. So so disappointed.

Complete scam avoid. Saw an ad on Instagram, presented themselves as an heritage British company. I ordered a coat I saw in the ad. Took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and when it did absolutely terrible quality and fit, I bought a medium and far too small. The support email just bounced back no way to contact them.

Clearly a low quality item imported from somewhere. There’s a return address on the envelope which I’ll send it back to but no hope of a refund. Will chalk it up to experience and look up a company I haven’t heard of on here before I buy from an Instagram ad again

I ordered a. Coat which has not been delivered as parcelforce which hope was to tell me that it has been returned to the company. This company is a first class scam and like many I have been let down

Absolutely disgusting service received my boots after waiting weeks poor quality and small asked for return address and refund i am still waiting on the information after 2 weeks and 15 emails how on earth are they allowed to treat people/customers like this and get away with it

Absolute scam. It should offer 0 stars. Nothing to do with the UK. Asian scam. Long lead time, awful cheap product. No way to return - totally ignore emails

If I could give zero star I would. Today 17/10/2025 I received the coat I purchased, very shocked at the item. When the item i bought was delivered, it was nothing like the item portrayed and described. Poorly made and with no hint of luxurious features. Have contacted CS to initiate refund. CS came back with 25% stating that sending back the item will cost me £10-£20. Awaiting CS response as I told them I wanted to go ahead with my full refund. I’m waiting for their response.
