Efficient and responsive
After an accident where we broke the brackets on our extractor hood Ashley Ann very efficiently, requested photos, checked with the fitter and speedily sent out the correct replacements, for our hood. An excellent response and service.

First class service from Kelly at Ashley Ann, from the initial meeting, to design and installation. Kelly made the whole process very easy and painless . Delighted with the new kitchen . We had used Ashley Ann 32 years ago for our previous kitchen and it had stood the test of time. It made it an easy decision to use them again. All trades were excellent too

A great design from Ashley Ann
Maria provided us with an excellent design at a comparable price to other providers. Whilst the fit out took longer than expected, this was due to some difficulties with our ancient walls. commencement was 1/10/24 and we finished just before Xmas. Sara, from 168 interiors was very attentive and her main man Ryan was meticulous and thorough.

A very unhappy experience
It took over 6 months from April 24 to do our kitchen and even then 8 months later we were left without a working hob for 3 weeks just before Christmas. In the end got our own electrician in. Once the basics were done ( old kitchen out, new units in) we were left being fitted in around newer jobs - things were rushed and mistakes made. The whole experience was heart breaking. The full price(c 60k) was taken up front so we had no leverage. So many design faults and poor communication. I wrote to the Director and got no reply- that added insult to injury. Actual kitchen units are lovely

The Ashley Ann experience
Excellent experience from start to finish. Would be very hard to be bettered using Scott Wilkie at Ashley Ann Glasgow. Scott's knowledge and helpful advice was key in us realising our dream of new kitchen/fitted wardrobes/bathroom and ensuite. They're fitters, ceramic tilers & plumbers left an incredible finish and are a credit to Ashley Ann. All work was completed well within the agreed time scale. Would have no hesitation to recommend Ashley Ann to anyone.

You dont get what you pay for.
We spent over £70k with Ashley Ann & our experience has been truly awful. It is no wonder they insist on you paying for everything up front (including fitting). I will NEVER make that mistake again.
I’ll start with the 2 good points:
1. The team of fitters we had were absolutely amazing & did their very best to overcome the constant stream of errors made by Ashley Ann.
2. The experience of designing the kitchen was really good. Tammy in the Stirling store was fantastic at offering us guidance & ideas & we ended up with a design that we loved.
Now for the many bad points:
Unfortunately it became apparent on the very first day of fitting that the design we had agreed with Tammy would not work, as Ashley Ann’s measurements were out by 30 cm. We therefore had to make compromises, and this would not be the last time. Virtually every day there was another error or design flaw that had to be addressed. The list of errors they made is extensive & includes –
• Providing shelves where there was supposed to be drawers
• Providing cabinets that were the wrong size & colour, then the replacement cabinets also being wrong
• Providing shelves with random holes cut into them, then the replacement shelves coming with the exact same random holes but this time too short for our cabinet.
• Mirrored backsplash was made too big.
• LED lights throughout the kitchen not matching
• Having to replace glass shelves in our display unit with wooden shelves as they had again got the measurements & weight bearing calculations wrong.
• Having to move radiators due to miscalculations on sizes.
The above list is not exhaustive, as it was almost a daily routine for the fitters to be embarrassed telling us about the latest error.
To rub salt in the wound, Ashley Ann charged us a "restocking fee" for any items returned, even though it was their error that the items were being returned.
We were quoted a 2 week timescale for the installation, but due to their constant errors, it took 8 weeks to finish. We were without a working kitchen or bathroom for just over a month during this disaster, as we were effectively living in a building site.
The Stirling branch have acknowledged all these mistakes & have told us they “can only apologise” for our terrible experience. They were not remotely embarrassed about it, nor did they offer any sort of recompense. We therefore reached out to the national sales director in the hope that he would take our complaint more seriously. We spoke to him briefly on the phone & he asked us to send him a list of the various issues. We did that & after a week of silence from him I emailed again with the latest problems from the previous week. He sent a dismissive reply that basically said it is up to the fitters to fix.
Ashley Ann are charging premium prices but are not delivering value for money. Based on all the 5 star reviews we really expected a first class service from them but it has without doubt been the worst renovation experience we have ever had. While we expected to have one or two issues on such a big renovation, we simply weren’t ready for the sheer volume of errors from them. Replacing one faulty product with more faulty products just made it even worse.
If you are looking for your dream kitchen or bathroom, don’t use Ashley Ann. Instead think about using a company that doesn’t insist on you paying for everything up front. Once Ashley Ann have your money they are simply not interested.
UPDATE FOLLOWING ASHLEY ANN REPLY
Every change that was made was entirely due to errors from AA, either in the design or in the products provided. To suggest you did us a favour by making these changes "free of charge" is laughable.
The statement that you went "above and beyond the strict boundaries of our agreed works" should be really worrying for any other potential AA clients, as this suggests that fixing errors & problems you create is not part of your normal business practise.
It should also worry potential clients that you think an 8 week completion timescale is "reasonable", when you initially told us it would take 2 weeks.
A sign of a quality company is how they deal with clients when things go wrong. In this respect AA have shown their true colours by trying to suggest we are somehow to blame for the errors we encountered. Shame on you.

Excellent Service
I moved home back in August and after a couple of months I decided I really couldn’t live with the colour of my kitchen. My property is open plan so the kitchen was in sight, all the time. As my kitchen was already an Ashley Ann product I called into their sales office in Inverness. I was greeted by a young man called Brodie Barnet. I explained I just wanted the doors, worktops, sink and any visual panels, a changed not the unit carcasses. I also wanted a new integrated fridge freezer. Brodie was excellent, he brought up the original drawings, we chose new colours etc and I was sorted. It was approximately six weeks later when delivery was made. The very next day the fitter (from Ashley Ann) arrived and two days later my kitchen was transformed. Excellent service and great customer service by Brodie. So quick, so easy and all done before Christmas. Thank you Ashley Ann. I’m delighted with the result and what a transformation.

Great stuff….
Third time we have used Ashley Ann and as previously, the quality is top notch. Needed a wee bit of back forth and triple checking to get the exact design right, but all fell into place in the end. Not cheap, but, you get what you pay for and it will last for decades rather than a few years.

Ross, the fitter, was equally impressive; nothing was too much trouble, and the workmanship is excellent. The whole experience was stress-free, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
