Have used Ask Electrix for two different jobs. Have been happy both times although I had to wait longer than I would have liked for the works to be scheduled but it wasn’t urgent so it didn’t really matter. Andy knows his stuff and makes sure everything else is working safely which is useful if you don’t have a clue! Kept everything tidy and cleaned up as he went. Happy to recommend.

Second visit from ASK ELECTRIX – new house sockets and garage power supply. Andy was once again meticulous, super tidy and delivered another flawless job. The house sockets are perfectly aligned and flush with the wall and the garage now has reliable, safe power with a good quality consumer unit. Clean, professional finish throughout. Highly recommend – 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Called ASK Electrix to look at a home car charger that wasn’t working. They were quick and efficient in dealing with our enquiry, and knowledgeable in advising us on the way forward. Would highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of using Ask Electrix for a repair on a faulty plug socket that had burnt out, and I can't recommend them enough! The online booking system was incredibly fast and efficient, and communication from the team was clear and prompt.

I received a fair quote before the visit, and the electrician arrived right on time, even sending a message to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and left the area spotless after the job was done. From start to finish, the service was truly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great response to our enquiry. Phone call response on the same day. Andy talked me through how to check things for myself first, and when we weren’t able to solve it he booked someone in to see me the next day. Electrician who came was quick and thorough and gave good advice. Will definitely use again for future needs.

Booking a quotation appointment was quick and easy. Jon came out a few days later and was quick, efficient, explained everything well and cleaned up after the job. Would recommend and use again for any domestic job.

Andy arrived ahead of the agreed time (set approximately, as he was on a previous job that he had clearly finished early). He did an excellent job and, despite it being a very hot day, stuck to his task, and leaving the electrics ready for the next phase.

We used Electrix to swap out our existing ceiling lights with LED down lights. The quote was good and professional and the work was carried out neatly and cleanly on the scheduled day. Would be happy to use Electrix again.

Andy came and looked at the replacement lighting in the garage. Later that day he e-mailed us a quote which we were happy with. A date for installation was agreed and Jon, the electrician arrived on time. We were very happy with the result. He was very professional and polite and we would not hesitate to have Ask Electrix again.

Changed appointment time which I did not mind then did not turn up to my property. They then sent a message saying it was because of the floods? Defiantly would not trust them

If your thinking of using this company don't! They come & quote quickly & can start straight away, clearly no other work on the books! They gave competitive quotes, but this is because they add extra bills as you go along, & once you have paid them the 70 per cent deposit they require to buy the goods you are stuck with them. Reliable companies have accounts with suppliers but not this firm evidently! The quote missed work off; they installed extractor fans but did not vent them to the outside which is against the legislation; they Kango walls leaving a mass of destruction; sockets come out with the plugs; running a cable up a double height wall, which they saw when they came to quote, turned out to be to high for them. They turn up unannounced & say I sent a text, which was sent minutes beforehand. They offer to put all their mistakes right, but you have to pay extra to get what you thought was being done in the first place. I don't know if they only prey on the elderly or if this is their general standard. You won't get any refund even if they haven't started the work but having seen the standard of their workmanship we cancelled quote 2 & were told we were in breach of contract, so basically were had over! Save yourself the monetary loss, & stress & go to a reliable company who are Checker Trade or Trusted Trader where you have some come back & will do a good job for the price quoted.

Friendly all round, and got straight out to us from my phone call as soon as they opened on both weekend days! Invoice and making payment was all very professional and straightforward. It was explained to me what was being done, as it was being done, and the problem was solved in the end. Recommended.

Andy and his team at Ask Electric have now carried out 3 electrical jobs on my house. All of those have been first class. They are fast to respond, provide competitive quotes and efficiently undertake the jobs. Electricians have been on time, extremely polite and helpful. I recommend Ask Electric.

Ask Electrix and their MD, Andy Kirton, were a great help to me in the summer 2023 when an electrician let me down at short notice. Andy responded quickly and sent out a man for the weekend, who worked brilliantly. Their subsequent 2nd fixing electrician came a nd did a great job in finishing off. She came back then earlier this month to do a second piece of work in another room, along with another worker.

Very good prompt and efficient service. Several jobs carried out for me to high standard . Staff helpful, courteous and tidy working. Would highly recommend.
