I paid for a hosting service and never…

I paid for a hosting service and never received any confirmation or access credentials. There was no follow-up email, and support never responded. After multiple attempts to reach them, I filed a payment dispute with Amex. This company appears to take money without delivering any service. Avoid at all costs.

This hosting service is a scam

This hosting service is a scam. First off they are running it from Singapore and may not actually use US based data centers. When compared to a few other shared hosting solutions, they scored the lowest in performance (running Umbraco website). Lastly, they use deceptive pricing, renewing trials for 6 months without clearly stating it during registration, not willing to cancel and refund unless you do it 10! days before end of the cycle. Stay away!

Excellent host for ASP.NET 4.5

I was asked to review this webhost and I am glad to do it.

I signed up with them about 6 months ago, particularly I am looking for a webhost that still supports my old SQL Server 2016. I was informed that asphostportal still supports it. Additionally, I want to make sure my ASP.NET 4.5 site works too.

All I can tell is that I can have my ASP.NET 4.5 site and SQL Server 2016 work flawlessly with this webhost. Their server speed is excellent from my place in Krakow (Poland).

Excellent RESTful Web API hosting provider

I use asphostportal to host my RESTful API website with the backend in SQL Server 2022 hosting. So far, I hardly encounter any problems with their server and service.

From price point, I believe it is worth the money I spend. Easily say, asphostportal is far better than my previous webhost

Fast response, excellent .net core webhost provider

My .net core site and SQL 2022 database have been working very well since the day one I started my hosting with them. There were a few, short downtime during my 5 years of tenure with them. However, every time my site was down, I contacted them and I immediately get a response from their support team

I am truly at ease by trusting my site to asphostportal.

This is a scam service

This is a scam service, these people hide behind their dodgy policies, double charge for the same service through auto PayPal payment and don't give a refund due to ridiculous reasons; they will lie to win the PayPal cases raised about the double charge; they appear to be sort of legit to get the upper hand.

You will be all alone!

In the previous review, I wrote that they would never return the money, therefore, I was forced to use their service. I started uploading some of my web services and along the way, I created several technical tickets to gain some information. Without any exception, they replied with links to very old blog posts that were unrelated or their answer was irrelevant. Finally, I just asked them to give me the logs of my services to diagnose the problems myself (The most primitive feature of each hosting provider). What was the answer!?

"Since you are on a shared host we can not share logs!". I tried to understand which version and configuration of IIS and MSSQL they were using and enabled the logged on my own. With the logs I enabled, I also fixed all the problems!

I finally sent the message and taught them how logs can be enabled for each user within files on their host! However, it is insane that they do not understand anything technical. Even how to use the features of their host!

You will be all alone with very limited features there. I strongly recommend not paying any penny since they will lock it and give something beyond bad service (almost no service).

Their subscription description was not what I was provided. When I contacted their helpdesk, I was asked to pay additional for the services that I wanted.

Then it became a matter of '.. we will get back to you in 3-5 hrs ...' which they never solved anything.

When I finally had enough of this rubbish response over 3 months, I asked for a refund.
They cancelled my account but never refunded any money without any notice. My account was dropped.

Now I'll just keep on asking them to refund my money. AND submit a bad review anywhere where they exist on the internet until I get a refund.

Frustrating Experience: Unreliable Service and Lackluster Support at ASPHostPortal

Despite the initial affordability, my experience has been marred by significant issues:

Ineffective Support: Solely relying on an online help desk made addressing critical issues, like server-related downtime and SSL configuration problems, frustrating and time-consuming.

Performance Concerns: Frequent downtime and inconsistent performance negatively impacted the reliability of my website.

Value for Money: While the service started cheap, the overall lack of support and service reliability made it poor value for money.

Refund Policy: Upon canceling my account due to ongoing issues, ASPHostPortal refused to offer a refund for the unused portion of the subscription, reflecting a lack of customer-oriented policies.

In summary, my time with ASPHostPortal was characterized by unreliable service and inadequate support. I recommend considering alternative hosting providers with a more customer-centric approach.

Their support has been terrible

Their support has been terrible. They could leave your ticket unanswered for over 4hrs and if they respond if you give feedback immediately you might have to wait another couple of hours. Just terrible.

really bad

really bad. signed up, email service is junk and needed private external email, servers are so slow its not funny, support barely answers or takes forever to answer and clearly cannot be bothered to do anything. they read support tickets and just leave them on read, unreal. considering just charging back. i joined through hostforlife.eu they seem to have several domains for the same company.

edit see reply below this company just lie about everything, i have all of the proof. and everyone should read these reviews before wasting away money on this "company"

Affordable and best .net hosting services

Asphostportal is one of the most affordable .net hosting that I found. The database loads quickly, I don't have to wait for hundreds of other people's database to load in SSMS before I can look for mine. A variety options, including the ability to recycle application pool from control panel is one of their great features. Control panel is also quick. If you need for fast asp.net hosting services, I would suggest you use this company.

Please don't trust ASPHostPortal, these are liars and Con artists

This is the slowest servers on this planet I ever seen and they will also try to steal your money because they don't have many customers, these evil creatures are fooling people who never used the servers before and the people who use to create simple websites, They put thousands of users in 1 server and try to sell their crap, only some inexperienced people who create few pages of websites might like it because no traffic for them, this is not good place for e-commerce websites, they are lying, cheating and conning their customers and trust me they will be gone forever very soon. Liars and con artists, They also have hired some people to write good review about them , any experienced programmer will never say a good things about their servers, so Please don't believe these inexperienced losers, they are lying to you. Only people who write good review about ASPPortal are their own employees. You mentioned that we just operate 1 server and we have thousand of clients on our server. Do you have the proof to support your claim here? For your information, we do operate servers in *multiple* Data Center (UK, US, Netherlands, France, Germany, Singapore, etc). So, your claim that states we just have one server is completely untrue!

But anyway, please just SHARE a screenshot of the ticket you have created to our Support Team and we love to know more about you.

By looking at your past reviews, it looks like you leave an identical negative review to other site (FastHost) as well. Are you really our customer OR are you just one of our competitors?

Great support and the ITs are…

Great support and the ITs are knowledgeable and friendly. I have had a great migration experience with Asphostportal on my ASP.NET project. They answered all my questions in a timely manner even priors to purchasing their hosting plans which have saved me a lot of time from trying and communicating with different hosting companies.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Whenever they update the servers, all the permissions are reset to some default that is not consistent with your application needs and the site goes down. You contact them and they do nothing. Typical time down is 8 hours. This happens all the time and they have the guts to tell you that is normal. It's not normal for a site to go down everytime they make an update. It's so bad I created a monitoring system to record the events and when they get resolved.

For your information, all our servers are closely monitored in every 10 mins. If there is a server that is down for more than 10 mins, we will be automatically alerted and we will certainly take a look closer.

Based on this setup, we *never* have a downtime of more than 2 hours. You mentioned that your site was down for more than 8 hours. You will need to inform our Support Team about it as the issue may happen to your site only and *not* to our server in general. For sure, we will get it checked.

Same as the person's review right below mine. Except I put in a cancellation request a MONTH in advance. They just refuse to cancel my account. As the person mentioned you have to do it through the ticket support system they don't allow you to cancel your own account. In my situation, everytime I tell them to cancel my account they just close my ticket and keep my account active. Still active to this day.
