Grade A Rotten Customer Service

I ordered a treadmill on 10/26/25. I immediately cancelled the order. It is now 12/31/25 and I still have not received my refund. I have called at least 8 times and used the Chat service at least 5 times. In all those phone calls I only was able to speak to someone 2 times and the rest of the time no one bothered to call me back.
This has been the worst customer service I have experienced in 60 years on planet earth!!!!!

Warning About AssaultFitness.com – Unfulfilled Orders, False Refund Promises, and Concerning Business Practices

I want to share my experience with AssaultFitness.com to warn others before making a purchase.

On June 16th, I purchased an Assault Runner for $3,500. The product was never shipped. I first requested a shipping update on September 12th, and after receiving no response, I requested a refund on September 30th.

When I finally received a reply, Assault Fitness confirmed my refund was approved, but provided no explanation for the failure to ship or respond. Since then, more than two weeks have passed with no refund, no communication, and no accountability — despite my repeated outreach to five different departments, multiple phone calls, and attempts to reach them via online chat.

After reviewing the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and other consumer review platforms, it’s clear this is a common pattern:

Customers report that orders are not shipped.

Refunds are promised but never issued.

Communication is ignored after payment is received.

It appears that Assault Fitness may be experiencing serious cash flow issues or engaging in deceptive practices, taking customers’ funds without fulfilling their obligations.

For anyone considering doing business with AssaultFitness.com, I strongly recommend proceeding with extreme caution — or avoiding them entirely until these issues are publicly addressed and resolved.

I ordered a runner in April 2025 that was supposed to be to be shipped in May. Then it was mid June. It never came. I requested a refund in July 2025. It is now Oct 2025 and no refund due to finance issues. This company is a thief and not reliable. Do not order anything from them if you value your money.

Assault is a totally illegitimate…

Assault is a totally illegitimate business. They are advertising products they never intend to deliver. They will also never refund your purchase. They actually lied to my bank and told them they refunded my account, which obviously didn’t happen for me or anyone else. They are clearly underwater and planning for bankruptcy. In the meantime, they are scamming as many people as possible. I’m certain a class action lawsuit will be opened and this company will be federally barred from conducting future business. Hopefully criminal charges can be brought given fraudulent activity and a total disregard for consumer protections laws. Protect yourselves. Never purchase anything from this company.

Dishonest dealers

Absolutely terrible. These guys refuse to pay out independent techs for work completed and can't be reached at all.

Asking someone to provide a service with no intention of paying for it is a crime. These guys are criminals.

This continues to get worse…Assault…

This continues to get worse…Assault sold me a product that ended up having a 4 month lead time, after saying it’s a one-month lead time at the point of sale.

I have since sent 27 emails, spoken with 2 people…and now you’re telling you I need to dispute things with MY credit card company, and that the company is delayed in issuing refunds? I’m just amazed Assault is in business after conducting business this way, which I think is pretty suspicious from a revenue accounting perspective.

Stay Away!

Like others have said below, I pre-ordered my Assault Fitness Runner Elite in March with an estimated delivery of mid May. Hearing all the raving reviews from youtubers and also various websites, this did not seem like much trouble. The estimated date arrives and still no update on shipping so I contact their customer support who gives me an exact shipping date/delay to 7/24. As the date arrives once more, I still get no information of shipping and contact customer support via their website. They then proceed to tell me it's delayed till September-October with no date nothing. I am now going through their refund / cancellation process but I'm expecting to potentially dispute like others have done with how bad their communication and basic customer service has been. You would think that a company selling premium products at such high prices would be more professional towards their customers. If they can't even succeed at that part, how does that give any confidence in owning their product? Please stay away and save yourself the headache!

Never Never buy from this company

I would give a minus star if I could. Pre-ordered an elite treadmill in March for a mid-May delivery. You guessed it, mid May came and went and no notification. Reached out to customer service and was told it would be July/August for delivery. I cancelled order on May 21st and was told that a refund would be processed and I should see it on my credit card statement in 7-10 days. It is now 6/16 and no refund. Reached out to customer service and was told they would reach out to finance department. 3 days later had to reach out again and was told I should hear something within a week. I have since disputed the charges on my credit card.

This business is a joke

I preordered AssaultRunner Elite in February for a early April delivery date. I never received any updated delivery status from Assault Fitness until I reached out. They told me that I would receive shipping info by April 14. I reached out again a week prior to the date to ask about the info, and they said it would ship on April 14. April 14 came and went, no notice that it shipped.

I reached back out and asked them what was going on. They told me they changed the info on their website to say that it wouldn't ship until June. By the way, this is after they took my $4k... No communication, no product delivered, no way in hell I'm dealing with this unreliable company. Cancelled my order. I don't believe they even have the product they're selling in stock at all.

Don't shop at this business, there are plenty of other high quality manual treadmills from reputable companies that actually care about their customers.

Defective assault runner

Purchased a brand new assault runner elite and haven't been able to use it due to it not working. Metrics don't work. Have contacted customer service multiple times, they can't seem to find a technician to come by. They refuse to refund or replace treadmill. Such a hassle for an expensive treadmill.

Bad customer service

I ordered a deal they were running, and I'm 100% it went through on my end. For some reason, it didn't go through on their end.. which I can live with, things happen in Ecommerce.

the instagram customer support gave me a specific extension to call, and I called and left voicemails for two weeks without a response.

I messaged the instagram help again and told them.. they got me information and said someone would reach out to me, they did not.

Tried a new number I googled and they got back to me, not only was the offer not honored, I strongly hinted that I was willing to at least take a lesser offer to right the ship and nothing

and this is with me wanting to give them money.. I wonder how they act when they already have your money.
