We had a new white meter installed by an electricity company. After the engineer left I tried to use our oven and it was causing a trip in the whole electric system. So the company asked us to pay for an professional engineer to sort out the problem and we would be refunded for the service. We contacted the Assured Electrical Solutions and they give us a quote of £214,80. We told them exactly what was the fault. My husband sent photos of the white box and they said they would send us an engineer. So, they asked for the payment in advance saying that the engineer was going to come at 2:00pm but we would receive a phone call before he comes. The engineer didn't show up and no phone call came, so my husband contacted them again. I started talking to them through WhatsApp and at first they said the engineer was doing another job and when he was finished there, he was coming to our house. So, I told them to do not come as I'm not longer interested in them to do the service for us. Very quick I got a message from them saying that the engineer was on his way. He phoned me and I didn't get his call but he knocked my door. My husband asked for his ID he said he hadn't one. No even his name Richard, he hadn't said if my husband hadn't insisted. He hadn't any toolbox or nothing. He looked to the white box and them he got more interested in the electric system box. He started checking the voltage of the electric box and he said he couldn't touch the white box. I asked him about the oven, if he'd done something in the oven while I was in my leaving room. He said no. The guy had not a clue about electricity, he was there only to pretend he was an engineer. He didn't do absolutely nothing, he then notified his company that the job was done and we received a message of completion of the job, but with no right to reply. My husband asked him for the Invoice they said they would provide, but he denied. So, we feel we were deceived, they sounds more like a group of people working to make easy money and abusing of the good faith of who needs help with electricity, which is quite expensive costs. They are spam, money diggers!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience, however we do need to clarify a number of points raised in your review.
Our engineer attended your property as arranged and carried out electrical testing to investigate the reported tripping fault. An electrician cannot simply assume the cause of an electrical fault based on a description or photographs; appropriate checks must be undertaken to establish where the fault originates and, importantly, that it is safe to proceed.
The suggestion that our engineer was “pretending” to be an electrician or had “not a clue about electricity” is completely incorrect. Our engineers are qualified professionals, and checking the electrical installation and protective devices forms a legitimate part of diagnosing a tripping fault.
We also cannot interfere with or carry out work on equipment belonging to the electricity network operator or energy supplier where we are not authorised to do so. This does not mean that no investigation was undertaken.
We appreciate that you were unhappy with the timing of the appointment and understand the frustration this caused. However, we do not accept the characterisation of our company as a “scam” or that we attend properties simply to take customers' money. Assured Electrical Solutions is an established electrical contractor carrying out electrical work for customers every day.

Really professional job from Evan
Really professional job, Evan came and went through the works, explained what was needed, outline safety and what to do before returning to do the next lot of work, and was very helpful in explaining his professional recommendation for how to improve the electric in our house both for safety and ease.

Dreadful experience! Use at your peril!
When one of my 32 amp ring main RCD started tripping, I unplugged all appliances connected to the sockets affected to rule out a faulty appliance.
When that failed I decided to call professional help.
My usual Electrician was unavailable, so I turned to the Internet for an alternative.
I chose Assured Electrical Solutions as their web site claimed that they would test and isolate sections of the circuit until they found the fault.
I was surprised when I was asked to pay £200 plus VAT in advance but was assured that this was a fixed price and no additional fee would be payable.
Kris and apprentice arrived just after 12:15 and checked for loose connections by unscrewing the sockets. They found a slightly abrazed neutral wire which they ‘repaired’ using blue electrical tape borrowed from my supply.
They declared they job done and left my house. They had been there for less than 40 minutes.
The moment they left the RCD tripped again.
I called Kris back and he watched the RCD trip several more times before telling me that the fault was somewhere under the floor and I would require a full rewire which the office would quote me for.
I was gobsmacked! 40 minutes to do what I could do myself! No specialist equipment used. And £250 for the benefit of this useless visit!
I subsequently isolated the faulf myself by disconmecting different sockets until the tripping ceased. It took half an hour after Kris left before i found the faulty cable in the kitchen.
I called Assured Electrical Solutions and complained to Lewis. It was friday pm and he said someone would contact me on Monday. No one did.
I am a competent DIY er. Had I been less competent and more gullible, I’d probably be facing a huge bill for a rewire now!
Cowboys! Do not use!

We would, however, like to clarify a few points. The charge agreed and paid before attendance was for our engineer’s professional attendance and electrical fault-finding service. The amount charged is not calculated simply by the number of minutes an engineer is at the property.
Intermittent electrical faults can be particularly difficult to diagnose, and a circuit operating correctly during testing can subsequently trip again. Where an engineer believes a fault may be within concealed wiring, they have a responsibility to advise the customer of this and of the potential remedial work that may be required. This does not mean that a full rewire would automatically be carried out or charged for without further investigation, quotation and the customer's agreement.
We are pleased that you subsequently identified the section of cable causing the problem. However, we would strongly discourage customers from disconnecting electrical circuits themselves unless they are suitably competent to do so.
The part of your review that concerns us most is your statement that you were promised a call back and did not receive one. If that happened, we apologise, as your concerns should have been followed up and reviewed.
We take allegations such as “cowboys” very seriously. Our engineers are employed professionals and our work is carried out under established electrical safety and quality procedures. We are happy to review the engineer’s job records, testing undertaken and the advice provided during your visit if you contact our office with your details.

Absolutely amazing service from Assured
Absolutely amazing service from Assured, from the initial call with the knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly Ryan in the office to the equally professional and dedicated Jason who came to fix our EV charger. Nothing was too much trouble for Jason and the siting of the charger was 15 meters away from the elec meter at our house but again, Jason fitted all the cabling neatly and as inconspicuously as possible. He cleared up afterwards so we didn't know he had visited! As he said he does each job as if it was his own home and I agree with him! A really great service from this company. Complex job well done
Both our emergency call out after our shower leaked and the replacement of aged electrical equipment was handled by experienced and knowledgable electricians, with jobs done quickly and cleanly. Wonderfully friendly team who explain clearly what has gone wrong and what is needed to correct the issue. Grateful we had their expertise in an emergency situation.

I had a great experience with Kieran the engineer who came to install and fix my EV charger. He arrived on time, was very professional throughout the visit, and explained everything clearly to me. He carried out the work efficiently and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. He also cleaned up after completing the job, leaving the area neat and tidy. Great service
We contacted Assured Electrical Solutions for a quote for an EV charger. They were able to provide details over the phone and followed it up with price in a text. I waited a few weeks and on a Saturday asked how soon could they install and the reply was the Mon. Wasn't expecting to be so quick. I was kept informed on day of when to expect electrician and he done a lovely job , clean and neat. Would highly recommend. Thanks

STOP - i paid £350 up front , supplied video of what was required - explained that the gas was being cut off and we needed a electrical point - for a over 90 year old vulnerable lady who now needs a electrical cooker - the engineer turned up , then 1/4 of the way through the job - said he is now going to do a another job - seriously - and leave this job half finished -he went - i spoke to ryan , and said this is unacceptable , he hanged up - there no excuse or reason - the money was paid , they knew the situation - but still left - a 90 year old stressed out -this is why i give then 5 stars for there excellent customer service for the elderly and vunerable - this is a true review
