Well, what can I say? It was an absolute joy to visit the store in Cardiff. I had booked a nose piercing, must be a mid life thing and at 60, I was a little nervous. However, from the second I entered the store I was made to feel welcome by the amazing staff that work there. Gee, who did the 'job' was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me, including the after care. The procedure was carried out professionally in a spotlessly clean environment. In less than 30 seconds the whole piercing was done and stud in place. Did my eyes water? Yes, a little, but no more than expecting a sneeze. Would I recommend A&M?... 100%. Thank you Gee for being so wonderful, and accommodating over the appointment xx Keep up the great work, I will be recommending you.

I got two piercings done with Salwa at the Hampstead branch, and honestly, I had such a positive experience! She was so polite, calm, and really knowledgeable. She completely understood when I felt anxious and kept chatting to help me stay calm, which I really appreciated. She genuinely looked after me throughout the whole experience. I honestly think I’ve found my forever piercer and the branch I’ll be coming back to again and again!

Had a lovely experience on Saturday in the Belfast store with Erin, Toni & Lauren. I had made a booking for my daughter to have her nose pierced & then had made a booking for me to get my ear pierced 2 hours later. When I went for my daughter's appointment I asked if there was any way I could be done around the same time rather than coming back later. Lauren checked & they were able to fit me in just after my daughter's appointment which I really appreciated & didn't expect. Toni was excellent with my daughter & a great pierced, explained everything she was doing & kept my daughter calm. Erin was lovely, again explained everything & was an excellent piercer. Lauren was very helpful & patient as we chose are jewellery. The store is lovely & accessible as I use an electric wheelchair. Overall a lovely experience & the only place I'll go to for piercings now.

Amazing! Lisa really put me at ease when I got my piercing. She talked to me the whole way through and made sure I knew every step so it wasn’t a surprise. Not to mention the selection of jewlery is amazing. I will be back to create my earring stack!

Chloe and Darryl were absolutely brilliant! I was super nervous coming in — it’s taken me 8 years to build up the courage to get my ear repierced. Both of them were so kind and reassuring. I honestly felt a bit stupid and embarrassed for feeling the way I did about a lobe piercing at 27, but the staff were so lovely that it didn’t matter. I ended up spending three times what I planned, but I was more than happy to part with my money for such fantastic service! Thank you so much! The customer service was flawless!

I decided to buy a solid gold earring from Astrid and Miyu a bit over a year ago for one of my piercings. I wore this earring for a while, along with other solid gold and titanium pieces from Astrid and Miyu that I had also bought soon after I bought this one. The problems started small with just a slight discolouration and a few small stones falling out which wasn't a big deal for me as it wasn't very noticeable because of the piercing I was wearing the earring in, and wouldn't bother customer service over a minor issue like this. However, soon after I noticed the small issues, the entire front of the earring detached from the welding point that it connected to on the part that screws into the earring showing a structural issue with the earring alongside the cosmetic issues. All I was doing when this happened was unscrewing the earring which is arguably its only function and couldn't hold up doing even that. I have since contacted customer service who were 'unable' to help as the earring was purchased over a year ago, despite me being a loyal customer and the issue being structural, and have completely evaded the cause of the earring breaking. Essentially, they have refused to help me at all with repairs or replacements and have only offered me Astrid and Miyu points which don't even amount to a fraction of what I originally spent on the earring. They have definitely lost themselves a loyal customer of several years, and it's a shame as before this happened I had been planning to get pierced there.

EDIT: Following their public response, I’m even more disappointed that the structural failure itself continues to be avoided and unaddressed. The replies I’ve received have largely repeated warranty policy wording rather than acknowledging that the earring physically detached during completely normal use. I understand warranties have limits, however I would not expect a solid gold piece marketed as fine jewellery to fail in this way after just over a year, especially from a brand that positions itself around quality and long-term wear.

At the ripe age of 63, I decided to get my nose pierced. So, on recommendation, my friend and I booked our appointments. We booked on line, using their app, which was so easy. We were booked in with Gee and she was amazing. Explaining the procedure step by step and putting me at my ease, as, I admit, I was a tad nervous. I was very impressed with the professionalism and standard of cleanliness and the after care advice. All in all, for a first timer, I can absolutely recommend Astrid & Miyu

Gee was amazing at the Cardiff Store! Had my flat done and was very nervous but it wasn’t as bad as i thought. Gee was very gentle and distracted me by talking to me :) The lady who helped me find the right piercings and sign my forms was very helpful too!

The jewellery selection is visually beautiful but horrendous quality! The welded jewellery breaks incredibly easily and is NOT solid gold, you will see what is inside once it breaks! Customer service is severely lacking. I have tried many other welded jewellery options elsewhere and the quality from other brands is miles above!

Lisa was truly amazing. She’s has such a lovely personality and it’s very obvious she loves what she does. The other girls were so lovely also making sure I was all good. The piercing itself was so quick and easy. The place is spotlessly clean

Lovely experience getting stacked lobe piercings at the Dublin store - all the staff were wonderful and my piercer, Daniela was excellent. Very professional and helpful. She did a wonderful job - I’m very pleased with my new piercings and earrings.
