I did the 2026 Bolivia tour with ATAW and had the most incredible experience imaginable. The group size was perfect, the itinerary was seamless - flexible to what the group was interested in doing as well as thoughtful and comprehensive so you know you’re getting the most of your time. Lisa was the best group tour guide you could possibly ask for, knowledge, helpful, personal and also hilarious. I can’t wait to book another tour with ATAW!!!

5 stars simply isn’t enough! Peru wasn’t just a trip, it was an experience that was so indescribable and I’ll never shut up about it- exceeded my expectations with how immersive the trip was, i completely fell in love with Peru, but how could you not when Lisa and Diogo do the amazing job they do- every day is planned with such detail and intention, I can’t thank ataw enough! Life changing! Just book your trip already!!! ✨

This was my first ever group trip experience and it surpassed all expectations. Lisa and Diogo were so knowledgeable about Peru and I felt like we really got to do and see so much of the country. The group was amazing and I hope to be able to go on another trip with them soon!

I was so nervous for my first “solo” (sort of) travel trip and Diogo made myself and the whole group feel so comfortable. If you want to get into travelling but don’t really know where to start or how you’ll go being totally on your own, this is a perfect trip to book. This trip has given me some great friendships and memories. There was a good balance of group activities and the opportunity to explore independently. The food was also amazing, Diogo knew all the best places to go. Not gonna lie, this trip was jam packed at times, but I still left feeling energised and rejuvenated. Peru is absolutely beautiful, and I look forward to doing more trips with ATAW in the future :)

Going to Peru was my first time in South America and I was so nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect, but immediately felt like I was in safe hands when Lisa was there to meet me at the airport when I arrived. This turned out to be one of the best trips I’ve ever been on and I met so many amazing people even though I went solo!

The whole trip was so well-paced that I still can’t believe how many experiences we fit into just two weeks. If I had done the same itinerary on my own, it easily would’ve taken me a month to see and do everything we did.

Lisa and Diogo were incredible guides throughout. They were always ready to help with anything we needed, handled any issues quickly and smoothly, and their local connections opened doors to experiences I never would’ve found on my own.

I had the greatest time travelling in Peru for two weeks with ATAW. Lisa and Diogo were incredible — it did not feel like just travelling with guides but rather friends. The itinerary was filled with amazing sites like the Ica desert, Machu Picchu, and the Rainbow Mountains. They take you to off the beaten paths which makes the experience more authentic without the crowds. They have great recommendations of places to go to and things to do to really make the most of your free time. I had so much fun making new memories with new friends. Definitely looking forward to booking more trips with ATAW in the future. Thank you Lisa and Diogo!

My experience with ATAW was incredible! Lisa and Diogo do such a great job in with the itinerary. We got to see and experience a lot including many bucket list activities. From the desert, mountain, lake and city you get to see it all. The trip was a very fun and positive experience and it felt like lisa and Diogo were apart of the group and not just running the tour. I will definitely miss the friendships and the constant inside jokes. Forever greatful for the memories created :)

I think what made my experience with this tour company so much better than with others I have tried out—is the fact that the two owners, Lisa and Diogo genuinely love what they do & that passion rubs off on the group, as well as they made sure everyone was feeling good and happy about travel. The best way to describe the feeling this tour company gave me was that I felt like a traveller and not like a tourist; which in end game is what you want to have a meaningful travel experience. Traveling with this company won’t just leave you with amazing real travel experiences but you’ll also get the most meaningful connections with people all around the world! Forever grateful :)

If anyone is thinking about booking a trip with ATAW Travels stop thinking and just booked it. I had the most incredible 2 weeks in Peru with Lisa and Diogo. I can not put into words the impact this trip had on me. We saw some of the most incredible places from the Ica desert to Machu Picchu to the rainbow mountains, it really ticks off all the bucket list places. But seeing the sights isn’t what just makes up this trip. Lisa and Diogo are such fun people they don’t make it feel like your on a tour, it feels like your travelling with friends. The group I had on my tour was incredible and I know we will be friends for life. Thank you guys so much for this experience!

Just got back from an unforgettable group trip to Bolivia, and I’m still processing how amazing it was. From the surreal landscapes of Salar de Uyuni to the colorful streets of La Paz and the peaceful beauty of Lake Titicaca, every day brought something new and breathtaking. But what made the experience truly special were the people—strangers who quickly became friends, sharing laughs, stories, and way too many altitude remedies. It was one of those rare trips that leaves you feeling a little more connected to the world and a lot more grateful for the people in it. Bolivia, you were pure magic. Thank you Diogo and Lisa for the incredible experience!!!

In September of 2024 me and my best friend joined ATAW on one of their group trips to Peru. Diogo and Lisa make going to a new country much more comfortable with greeting you at the airport once you land and providing you with all the information and documentation needed so you are not surprised with anything upon arrival. We were instantly connected with the other women on the trip and made lifelong friendship. Diogo went out of his way to come to certain activities we wanted to do on free days so he could translate and help us navigate. So many great experiences I will never forget so much so that I booked a second trip with them before even leaving Peru.

Me and my boyfriend went on the Bolivia trip in March of 2025 and again I have nothing but amazing things to say. The scenery and landscapes were so diverse, and you get to see a little bit of everything during the tour. We have not stop talking about the trip since arriving back home.

I highly recommend ATAW travels to everyone !!! I left both trips with lifelong memories and experiences that I wouldn't have done on my own with all the uncertainties of solo travelling. Diogo and Lisa know the best/cheapest way to travel around these countries. Definitely planning on more of their trips in the future.

The last two weeks with ATAW through Peru, Bolivia and Chile was the trip of a lifetime. ATAW took us to all of the bucket list places, some beautiful off the beaten track places and went above and beyond to ensure our experiences were amazing. Thank you so much!

This was my 2nd Ataw trip after visiting Colombia with them in 2023 and it won’t be my last! I had the most amazing 15 days on their new Magical Andes trip and have memories to last a lifetime! Visiting Peru, Bolivia and Chile in 15 days sounds like a lot but the itinerary runs perfectly so that you feel you have enough time in each place. Diogo and Lisa are the best! Their knowledge of South America is insane, allowing you to really get an insight to the countries culture as well as have the best food recommendations. Oh and you are guaranteed to have a laugh!

This was my very first group trip, and it was absolutely amazing! Diogo and Lisa are so fun, down to earth, and always made me feel comfortable. I had an incredible time exploring the different parts of Guatemala with such a wonderful group of people. I’m already looking forward to the next trip!! :)

this is my 3rd trip with ATAW Travels and it’s the best group trip company. there are so many companies out there doing group trips and i’ve used several others that are not that good. but ataw travels always has 10/10 trips they are SO WELL DONE, so much is included, it’s worth every penny!!!!!! lisa and diogo are the best guides and always have your back thru these trips. i’ve met my best friends from these trips and people i will be connected to for the rest of my life. please please please choose ataw travels!!!!

This trip was beyond amazing! Diogo and Lisa are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. The itinerary was perfect. We did so many cool things but also had time to chill and really enjoy everything. I can’t thank them enough. Can’t wait to go on another trip!
