With Atena care.agency you can wait a year unil they call if they call you,they have some unseriouse staff with no word,shame on the owners becouse they keep this saff they make you lose money

Awful company. They only appreciate you when you comply with their demands from their staff.
They offer you work placements, but have no regard if the worker is suited to the person using their service.
I was matched with a woman with ABI, we didn’t fit, which caused her more distress than support, to the point she felt uncomfortable in her own home, and was annoyed when staff had to use the bathroom.
This was a safeguarding issue for both staff, as well as the person being supported, yet no support was offered, and staff was expected to continue going to this persons home.
When red flags was raised with management, no support was offered.
After knowing the staff member for some time, and worked for the company on two separate occasions, the relationship became fractured, and the staff resigned on the spot.

Do not request references from this company if you leave on bad terms, as they are unprofessional, and hostile.

The only positive I give is when I worked as a live in carer, and formed a strong working partnership with the person I supported.

Pass the buk services while they get paid women suffer.

I have worked for Athena Care for the past three years and I have never had any issues. Management are great, they take into consideration my needs and make adjustments with no fuss. Live in has been solid as I have been with the same client for a few years running now and its been great,

Without a doubt Athena Care is a brilliant Care company. From the staff in the office, who make sure the service runs smoothly and make sure I receive top quality care. The careers are well trained and professional in giving care. I’m very happy about the service they provide.
