Made a purchase almost three months ago…
Made a purchase almost three months ago for a bolster and vinyl sanitiser. Was never advertised on the website that both products were out of stock, received an email only after payment was taken that it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. Called after 5 weeks, both items were still out of stock and told another two weeks and they will be in. Called after 3 more weeks and then had forgotten to send my sanitiser even though it was in stock, still no bolster. It has been almost three months and it has finally been shipped out. Zero communication unless I reached out first which is incredibly unprofessional. And to be out of stock of a product and a three month waiting period is a joke. Yes there are issues with shipping containers but no communication is unacceptable. Only reason I’m giving two stars is because staff were friendly on the phone. Probably won’t be ordering off here again after this experience.

We have been experiencing high volumes of orders which have lead to many back order situations across many of our lines – then add in shipping and port issues, its been trying times trying to fulfill our orders.
We did reach out to back order customers either by email or phone and I apologize that your order was missed. This I am greatly sorry for.
Thank you for your nice comment about our staff on the phones – we do pride ourselves on high levels of customer service, even if we have to give negative news.

Very poor follow up with good purchased after you pay for them. You have to ring them ( after 10 days) to find out what is happening, only to be told, your purchase order ( you already paid for) is way down the list and usually wont get to sent it out for ages. Then advised that they will put a high priority on it ( because you rang) to send it out. Not good customer service

We are very happy with the product (Elite 720 massage table package) as it’s good quality, easy to use and comfortable to lay down. Also we are very impressive on the delivery service as it was delivered on the commited date. Would recommend this to friends.

You purchased an electric table from us on the basis that it would be shipped from Australia to the USA on internationally recognised CFR terms. CFR terms state that it is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for customs import clearance and to cover all associated costs. Our International Orders Terms and Conditions are outlined clearly on our website (see excerpt below) and were also verbally advised to you.
" Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for further information before you confirm your order as Athlegen cannot take responsibility for any issues that may arise in clearing your order through customs in your country.
"Any customs or import duties are applied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be."
Unfortunately, you were unable to arrange US import clearance when the table arrived in the USA. As a goodwill gesture, we offered you a full refund less all return shipping and associated costs.
You refused to pay for the shipping and associated costs for freight to the USA and also for the return of the table to us, leaving our company with a loss of thousands of dollars through no fault of our own.
We understand your frustration in not being able to import the table that you wanted, but we acted ethically and in good faith at all times, we have been in business for over 30 years, and always strive to act in the best interests of our customers.
We are the party that is out of pocket, not you.
