Fraudulent company using this wallet or…

Fraudulent company using this wallet or owning it: Allard Intell. Lot’s of advertisements from them but scamming company.

When I did not complete registration to Atomic Wallet, they kept calling over and over again five/six time in a row for days. Mobile number reference changed with every call. Pushy, pushy, pushy. I have given all their information to Dutch cybercrime unit, caller log and all.

Do not fall for this. It is a scam/fraud.

Hi Mirijam! We're terribly sorry to hear about your experience. However, please note that you were in contact with impersonators rather than our real support team.

The only email address we use to correspond with our users is support@atomicwallet.io. We do not contact users via WhatsApp, Telegram, or other messaging platforms, nor do we ever make phone calls.

Any so-called 'investment' or 'law companies' asking you to deposit funds to 'release a hefty amount of money' are scammers. Likewise, if someone requests a percentage of your total balance to 'activate' your account or perform a 'liquidity check', it is a scam. No one can block or freeze your balance.

Anyone asking for your wallet's backup phrase or offering 'help' to set up a wallet using remote access software like Anydesk (or similar tools) is also a scammer. Remember: anyone with access to your backup phrase can access your wallet and all the funds it contains.

We strongly advise you to cease all communication with the scammers immediately and not to waste your time on them. You cannot receive money 'out of thin air'. If it seems too good to be true, it likely is.

The best course of action is to report your case to the local cybercrime authorities in your country (as you have already done) and file a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) for further investigation.

If there’s anything else we can help you with, please contact us at support@atomicwallet.io.

We’d also greatly appreciate it if you’d consider leaving us a better rating.

Hi Bryan! We want to apologize for the bad experience you had with our app.

We carefully checked the last conversation thread with you and provided a detailed reply to your email. Let us set things right once again:

1) Indeed, there is an issue with the ZIL rewards balance update. Once you hit the Claim button, the transaction goes through. However, the rewards balance doesn't update due to a visual glitch. As a result, you cannot initiate the unstaking transaction because, under ZIL staking rules, your rewards must be at 0.

In the meantime, we recommend an alternative option: import your ZIL private key into another compatible wallet to access your funds.

Please note that your ZIL is currently in the unstaking phase. Due to ZIL staking rules, this process takes up to 24 days. Unfortunately, we cannot speed this up as it depends on the ZIL blockchain itself.

2) We also apologize for the negative experience caused by the KAVA balance issue. Due to a visual glitch affecting the KAVA balance, you’re unable to make withdrawals or perform any staking transactions (including claims).

As an alternative, you can access and manage your KAVA in any compatible wallet. We’ve provided you with two detailed guides to assist you with this process.

If there’s anything else we can help you with, please contact us at support@atomicwallet.io. We’ll be more than happy to assist you.

Hi Terry! We're sorry to hear about your experience. Based on our conversation thread, it seems you’ve encountered scammers.

Any so-called 'investment' or 'law companies' asking you to deposit funds to 'release a hefty amount of money' are scammers. Their only intention is to extract as much money from you as possible. Requests to send a percentage of the total amount to 'activate' the balance or for a 'liquidity check' are clear signs of a scam.

Additionally, anyone asking for your wallet’s backup phrase or offering to 'help' set up a wallet via Anydesk or similar software is a scammer. Remember, anyone with your backup phrase has full access to your wallet and all the funds it contains.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at support@atomicwallet.io — this is the only email address we use to communicate with users. We’d also be grateful if you’d consider updating your rating.

Stay safe, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Hi there! We're sorry to hear about your experience. Please note that there may be some temporary visual glitches with TON in the wallet app. However, the coin and tokens should generally work fine – you should be able to see your balance and send your TON-based assets.

Our team is working on a fix, and the issue should be resolved in the next wallet release. If there’s anything we can do for you, please contact us at support@atomicwallet.io. We’ll do our best to help you.

Hi there! Unfortunately, you've become a victim of a scam. Your funds cannot be 'frozen' in Atomic. Our app is an intermediary between you and the blockchain. No one can 'block' your balance in decentralized wallets like Atomic.

Anyone asking you to deposit funds in order to 'release a hefty amount of money' is a scammer. When someone asks to send some % of the total amount of the deposit in order to 'activate' the balance or for a 'liquidity check' - this is a scam.

Anyone 'sharing a backup phrase from your wallet' or offering 'help' in order to set up a wallet for you via Anydesk or similar software is a scammer (as anyone with your backup phrase has access to your wallet and all the funds it contains).

Lost 50k USDT from this on June 3 2023

Lost 50k USDT from this on June 3 2023. Perhaps I am one of the 0.1% "lucky" ones as they stated. But it is more likely that the company is deceiving the public and many more users have suffered. Recently they wrote that they had strengthened security, but did not even inform users that they needed to withdraw everything from old wallets and generate new wallets with new keys. Don't use it

hacked account a few years ago

In June 2023, Atomic Wallet was the victim of a large-scale hack, resulting in the loss of over $100 million worth of crypto assets from users' wallets. The hack affected less than 1% of the company's monthly active users, and the last reported transaction was over 40 hours after the initial reports of wallet compromises began on June 3, 2023.

Following the hack, a class action lawsuit was filed against Atomic Wallet and its founders, alleging negligence and failure to protect users' funds and passwords. However, on September 10, 2024, a Colorado federal judge dismissed the lawsuit, citing insufficient grounds for jurisdiction over the Estonia-based company.

According to Merkle Science's investigation, North Korean hackers were involved in the theft, and the stolen funds were transferred through multiple crypto wallets, including one used by an Asian payment firm. I lost over 10k worth of BTC at the time and nothing was done ! This happen once it will happen again, even if you do everything to protect yourself their is always a hole in something.

I put $100 in there to see what would happen and I can not get my USDC out. Everytime I try they tell me I need to to have ETH for network fees. I tried to swap USDC for ETH nothing. Very confusing and difficult to use. It was easy purchasing. When I tried to swap USDC back to BTC nothing. I have a Bachelor's in Digital media and Communications. Something is faulty with this app. When I tried to claim ETH it sent an email somewhere. This app falls on SCAM in my book. Why not take network fees out of the USDC like all the other platforms do. Never had this problem with any other wallet. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Hi Jacob! We're sorry to hear that you're dissatisfied with our app.

Please note that Atomic Wallet does not impose any extra fees on transactions. When making a transaction, you are required to pay a network fee, which is charged by the blockchain itself – not by Atomic Wallet.

In most cases, when transferring a token on a particular network (such as Ethereum in your case), the fee is paid in the main coin of that network (ETH). The fee amount cannot be deducted from your USDC balance. This applies to all wallets similar to ours, as we do not have access to your balances or the ability to make transactions. We simply provide an interface for managing your assets on the blockchain.

When you press the "Claim" button on the Swap page, an automatic email is sent to our support mailbox. Please note that the claim service is an additional feature and is not currently available.

If there's anything else we can assist you with, feel free to contact us at support@atomicwallet.io.

Warning | DON'T USE ATOMIC WALLET

Updated:

Hi Atomic Wallet,

Your response is nothing more than an attempt to shift the blame onto users instead of addressing your security vulnerabilities. I never shared my recovery phrase, never used remote access software like AnyDesk or TeamViewer, never took a screenshot of my backup, and never participated in suspicious airdrops. Yet, my funds were stolen from your wallet.

If your wallet is truly “secure,” explain how so many users—including myself—have lost their funds without making any of the mistakes you listed. The reality is simple: your wallet has security flaws that you refuse to acknowledge.

Many other users have reported similar issues, and instead of improving your security, you continue to deflect responsibility. Telling users to “report to authorities” is a weak excuse when the problem originates from your platform’s poor security.

I strongly advise others to stay away from Atomic Wallet until you take responsibility and fix these vulnerabilities. Your refusal to acknowledge security flaws is costing people real money.

🚨 Users, be warned: Do NOT trust Atomic Wallet with your funds! 🚨

Warning: Do NOT Use Atomic Wallet!

I lost $25,000 due to Atomic Wallet’s poor security, and they take no responsibility for it. I never shared my 12-word recovery phrase with anyone, yet my funds were stolen. Their support is completely unhelpful, and they refuse to acknowledge their security flaws.

Avoid this wallet at all costs! Don’t make the same mistake I did. 🚨

Hi Arash! We're terribly sorry to hear that you lost your crypto. We did not mean to be indifferent. In fact, it's just the opposite.

Unfortunately, there are many ways how scammers can steal your crypto:

- You allowed someone to access your device with AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or similar software.
- You made a screenshot or photo of your backup.
- You shared your backup phrase with someone or entered it into some program.
- You participated in a suspicious airdrop or giveaway.
- You used the same password for multiple wallets/accounts or used a weak password.

Sadly, cybercriminals have many different ways to get their hands on your seed phrase or private keys with phishing devices, fraudulent emails, and malware droppers. As much as we want to help, it's impossible for us to say what method was used exactly, unfortunately.

The best course of action we can advise is to report your case to local cybercrime authorities in your country and report this case for the further investigation as well as the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

Don't hesitate to contact us at support@atomicwallet.io if you have further questions. We are always here to help.

Hi Niels! We're sorry to hear about your experience. Based on the email conversation thread, you're unable to withdraw your TRX-USDT because your TRX balance is insufficient to cover the transaction fee.

Please note that Atomic Wallet does not impose any additional fees on transactions. To complete a transaction, you must pay a network fee, which is charged by the blockchain itself – not by Atomic Wallet. In most cases, when transferring a token on a specific network (such as TRON in your case), the fee is paid in the main coin of that network (TRX). This fee cannot be deducted from your TRX-USDT balance.

This applies to all wallets similar to ours, as we do not have access to your balances or the ability to process transactions. Atomic Wallet simply provides an interface for managing your assets on the blockchain.

To my regret I have to say that it is still not a nice wallet! The app does not refresh after transactions and your current wallet is not visible. Usually I then go through the steps that you indicate to solve the problem but without result! The only way that works is to delete the app every time and restart it (with the 12 word phrase) This happens on the mobile and desktop app of Atomic! Too bad you can not solve this like other wallet apps want to do! So I indicate it again, maybe it is time to switch to a well-functioning wallet app!
