Beware of fraudulent wallet

Beware of fraudulent wallet

After swapping Bitcoin to BabyDoge, my assets disappeared from my wallet. The balance was still showing, but the assets were gone, making it impossible to withdraw, send or make other swaps.

I sent an amount in Bitcoin and it never arrived at the brokerage.

I have been scammed several times with this atomic wallet.

I do not recommend it to anyone. They disappear with your cryptocurrencies and the support team says that there is no one holding the assets at the moment.

The owner of the wallet is disappearing with the assets.

Report it: atomic wallet is fraudulent and a scammer.

Atomic wallet is a scam.

Don't Use

I bought 2 ETH coins and when I transferred them to another platform I only received £1.00!? I was told that I would receive the full amount and that was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard anything back even with my daily messages asking for a response. I wish I had read the reviews before.

This company ripped me off for a large sum of money! They kept asking me for fees and when I sent them the money they would say they needed another $200, and then another $500 and it never ended. They’re unprofessional, they are basically illiterate because their emails are unintelligible And I would steer anyone away from this company because you’re likely to lose all your money.

I used this wallet since 5 years

I used this wallet since 5 years, and during almost all this time, just sole technical issues sometimes. But now, in a few months, I've suffered 4 robberies.
Let's say that the first I've been unlucky, the second due by my ignorance on ETH Blockchain system, and the third due to a forgotten mistake of mine of 1 year before. So we can see that in this three cases, this wallet has no responsibility on my loss of funds. But the problem is the fourth case, because the 12-words phrase I set completely cold, with no internet connection and typing them just on paper, then it should be impossible that somebody could use, but somebody did, because this enterprise is leaked and corrupted inside. They have some corrupted technician who's able to reveal the 12 words or the single keys to an external hacker; they always starts to steal Cardano, and just sole hours later quicky steal all the other currencies. Useless they say that's not possible, because they aren't open source and any account created has a code. The pattern is: 1. Cardano is unsafest crypto, they made disasters with keys locking funds for months and they likely have algoritmic ways to guess other private keys starting from a previous one stolen; 2. Cardano hacker knows, threats or corrupt some deep technicians of Atomic wallet, who's able, through the cardano keys to arrive to the software code, and seeing all the rest.
Forced to leave forever and just hope FBI before or later put you in jail and confiscate this wallet, as there are other people with the wallet emptied

Hi there,

First of all, we’re truly sorry to hear about your losses, and we understand how distressing this situation must be. We appreciate your long-time use of Atomic Wallet and regret that you’ve experienced these incidents.

Let us clarify a few important points regarding Atomic Wallet’s security:

Atomic Wallet is a decentralized application. We do not store any personal data, private keys, or backup phrases (12 words). All of this information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. This means that no one from the Atomic Wallet team has access to your wallet or your funds.

Although the application is not fully open-source, that does not imply that your 12-word phrase is ever shared outside your device. All operations involving your private keys are handled locally and securely on your device.

About the hacks you described. We appreciate that you have honestly assessed the first three cases. Regarding the fourth incident — if the phrase was generated in a completely offline environment and never entered into a device connected to the internet, then it cannot be compromised through Atomic Wallet. However, in most real-world cases, wallet compromises happen due to:

- Malware or phishing attacks;
- Device compromise;
- Saving the phrase digitally (e.g., screenshot, notes, or cloud storage).

It is true that some attackers tend to target ADA first due to faster transaction times, but this is a known behavior pattern among crypto thieves and not related to any vulnerability in ADA integration or the wallet itself. There is no evidence that attackers are algorithmically deriving other keys from stolen Cardano keys.

If you believe your funds were stolen, we encourage you to report the case through our official email: support@atomicwallet.io

Please include as many details as possible, such as:

- Date and time of the incident;
- Wallet addresses involved;
- Devices you used to access the wallet;
- Confirmation that your backup phrase was never stored digitally.

We cannot confirm or comment on any accusations regarding internal corruption without factual evidence. However, we are fully prepared to assist in any investigation and to provide any information we legally can to support law enforcement.

Let us know if you need help gathering the data required for a police report or further investigation. We are sincerely sorry this happened and will do everything we can to support you.

Crypto taken from my account after I was made to deposit Eth to get it out for a deposit, I emailed them and they said there is nothing they can do. I definitely haven't sent my login details to anyone or my phrase. They were hacked so I think they just lie and don't tell people that's what has happened.

Hi there,

Kindly note, Anastasia Bauer is not associated with Atomic Wallet and most probably a scammer. Moreover, we do not provide support via direct calls with our users. We only correspond via our official email (support@atomicwallet.io) or via the live chat service on our official support page.

Be advised that in case of decentralized wallets like Atomic, no one can block or freeze your crypto. If you have your 12-word backup phrase - you have full access to your assets.

We wouldn't recommend to interact with these people further and contact your local cybercrime authorities for further investigation.

I hope this information proves useful for you, should you need anything else to be sure to reach out to us at: support@atomicwallet.io

Legit or Scam

I currently had some funds in my atomic wallet which i created recently. To withdraw, it does not accept any BTC address's like binance or coinjar. The agent asked for a bank details which i provided. Now he is asking for a $150 fee in order to transfer the rest of the funds. Is it legit.

i emailed atomic support, but there is no response since yesterday.

Hi Grace,

Thank you for your opinion.

Kindly note, some centralized platforms indeed offer the service of automatically converting tokens to ETH to perform a transaction. However, Atomic Wallet is a decentralized service, which is why we advise users to make sure to have ETH on their balance. These are blockchain rules, not from our wallet. In order to make a transaction or a swap, you'll need to pay a network fee charged by the blockchain. Atomic Wallet doesn't impose any extra fees on transactions. Since Atomic Wallet is a decentralized platform, and we do not have any access to your private information, we’ll need a bit of cooperation from your side to assist you effectively.

We've opened a support case for you. Please contact us at support@atomicwallet.io and include your case number TP-1405-07 in the message. This will help us quickly identify your request and assist you further.
