Decent site collecting lot of auction houses. I've won a few auctions and no issues so far. The auction houses have used insane amounts of packaging material. Usually paper wrapping, bubble wrap, bigger bubble wrap per item, and then more bubble wrap and box fillers.
A bit unclear what fees are added until you're half way through the bid. Very expensive shipping, even if you ship to one of their collection sites. No possibility to combine shipping even when items come from the same auction house and day.

Appalling customer service and practices - shop elsewhere.
I purchased an item and paid for delivery to a named address.
DHL, the courier company selected by Auctionet, instead delivered the item to a collection point 15 mins away.
Despite this, four attempts were made to collect the parcel and on each occasion the collection point refused to hand the item over as they said the collectors name was not on the parcel - even though it clearly was and I have the invoice to prove it.
Now the item has been sent back to the auction house and in frustration, I have asked for the sale to be cancelled and a full refund issued.
Imagine my shock when Auctionet associates (both John and Marcus are very rude and unhelpful) are now saying I must pay for shipping to return the item to them (at Auctionet, even though the item came from and is back at the selling auction house) before they will refund me.
And all because their chosen courier did not deliver the item to the address that was booked and paid for.
Awful awful awful.
Its not the only auction house and certainly far from the best.
Save your hard earned money for a better place and shop elsewhere

The site has good items for sale, but the shipping cost is VERY EXPENSIVE.

NEVER USE THESE GUYS
I bid on a sale at Lawrences of Crewkerne bought 20 lots. All good until I have to pay via auction net, a system that wants me to pay for each lot separately (ie put my details in 20 different times) and then wants to charge me to separately ship 20 items undoubtedly at some extortionate price. I will NEVER EVER bid on an auction that uses them again.

Firstly let me congratulate you on the fabulous overhaul of Lawrence's Auctions in Crewkerne.
We've been visiting this well-established business for years.
Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end.
I am disabled and of very limited mobility and on arrival, as always, asked the receptionist for assistance using the goods elevater. I was told that the lift was not safe to use as it had sporadically broken down. I told her that the stairs were very difficult for me to use and she did find a manager who told me that I could use the lift as long as I didn't hold anyone else responsible in case it went wrong.
OK, of course, I didn't mind that and one of your employees accompanied me to the first floor in the lift.
Now to the real crux of the matter.
As part of your extensive restoration you installed a very beautiful new lecturn, or should I say instrument of torture for your auctioneers.
You're expecting the kingpin of your business, the people who are responsible for the success of your business to stand for hours on end behind the lecturn conducting auctions without being able to sit down as it is the norm in every other auction house in the UK, nay, the world.
We got there at the start of the auction at 10 am and apart from half an hour lunch break that poor man was conducting a BTW excellent auction standing up until 5 pm.
Honestly, would it kill you to supply a tall stool or chair for your excellent staff? The poor man looked totally exhausted after the auction and he has another two days coming up.
Please, arrange something for the working environment of your most important staff. As it is you ought to be ashamed of yourself not thinking of the most basic welfare of your employees.

I BOUGHT 3 LOTS FROM AN AUCTION HOUSE THAT USES THESE IMBECILES AND GOT 3 SEPARATE INVOICES TO PAY
ALSO, IF YOU WANT A COMBINED INVOICE, YOU HAVE TO JOIN AUCTIONET AND THEY HAVE BAD T&C'S, WATCH OUT

Very difficult to find anything positive to write. Mostly dreadful experiences. Contact takes forever and not worth the hassle. Shipping costs are very high and they often refuse to combine articles, charging two or more sets of shipping costs. I'm becoming more depressed so will finish.

I’ve used Auctionet quite a lot and while the objects are great, the service experience has been poor.
Whether dealing with Auctionet itself or one of their delivery nodes, they are unresponsive, unhelpful and generally difficult to deal with.
Hugely disappointing and after todays debacle where they have said I need to arrange postage of my own item from Germany (an impossibility when based in the UK) I am going to have to stop using them, they create a great deal of stress and they don’t care.

I’m often searching for items (watches and paintings) on various websites. I’ve noticed, especially on Auctionet, that someone may win an auction, yet the item reappears after a few days or even a month. I’ve had multiple situations where I was repeatedly outbid, often well above the item’s actual value.
Additionally, the shipping costs are astronomical compared to other platforms.
When I arranged for my employee to pick up an item in person (on several occasions), they simply placed/hited the watch on the desk and said, “Oh, sorry, you should have chosen the secured option.”

Won a set of miniature books at auction and was quoted £36 to ship them to me. Actual cost of shipping insured would be £4.19 using Royal Mail, leaving a hell of a profit.
Rang the auction house Lawrences who said I had to write to auctionet support.
I got sent a 5 paragraph email not addressing the issue at all, telling me about postage in Sweden etc etc etc.
Absolutely useless and over priced. Think twice before bidding!!!

Price for shipping on a small glass from England DKK 570. the actual price is approx. DKK 95. that is, the auction house Bishop & Miller "Auktionet" demands DKK 485. to pack the glass in a box ?? a glass valued at DKK 268. ?? their shipping prices are pure side business which costs you dearly as a customer.
?? I bid on a rare item(fibreoptic lamp)
Normal auction bidding,no shilling.
Won auction and paid the same day.
Normal charge from Sweden to USA.
Well packed and shipped quickly.
No issues.Just be sure to read the directions and allow time for payment to process.
This is not ebay and there will be additional fees that are explained in the faq section.
Legitimate site.
No issues at all.

really horrible customer service, poor communicaton skills, lack of English language.
- over-expensived prices and very bad support for this price.
I can't believe that a international auction house like this act so unprofessional to the customers and their requests!

**Title:** Excellent Customer Service and Professionalism
I recently had to withdraw from an auction at Auctionet, and I am incredibly impressed with how the situation was handled. The Auctionet team, along with their support staff, were quick, understanding, and highly professional throughout the entire process.
They managed my request efficiently and without any penalties, which I greatly appreciate. Their commitment to providing top-notch customer service is evident, and I highly recommend Auctionet to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-focused auction house.
Thank you, Auctionet, for making what could have been a stressful situation so seamless and easy.

The delivery cost on the item page said from £88 i live in UK so would expect this to be the lowest price to send to my address in the UK which is normal practice however when going to pay after I had won the item the delivery quoted was to a collection point in Germany and would actually cost £180 to send to my address in the UK

I bought few items from this site. Items are all non working, late delivery, expensive delivery charges, poor customer services. Deleted the app, never use again.
For a ring of £171, and is in England, I have to pay £58 delivery. I am in England too. Ridiculous! Keep all for yourself!
