Auctionkings confusion!!! LOOK
It should be made clear here that these bad reviews are all from a company in Sacramento, California and not the highly reputable “Auction Kings” Gallery 63 in Atlanta, Georgia that has been in business for over 25 years.
Scammers, Avoid them
If I could give it a zero I would. I purchased a andy warhol painting from them. 1. When it arrived the glass was broken and when I took it out, the matting look like a child did it. I sent the item back for a refund and I had to go through my credit card company to get my refund because they lied about processing it. AVOID THESE SMAMMERS
Just watch an auction in real time… And…
Just watch an auction in real time… And if after 15 minutes you don't realize that it's a scam, then you are exactly the sucker they're looking for. I have 25 years of professional open outcry experience in dealing with art and other high-end items. I have never seen hundreds of listings go through in rapidfire with every single one reaching extraordinary heights. This is a deceptive technique used to give you the impression that their items are worth what they're asking or more and to incite the fear of missing out. Read the other reviews, draw your own conclusion, if it's too good to be true it is. One more interesting point to consider, I have never heard of anyone who would purchase a $15,000 ring, site unseen, with out so much as a basic appraisal? How about the clarity of the stones? What you get here is a bunch of stock photography, usually taken from the manufacturers website, (see every single one of the ladies handbags) and there is no way to make an informed decision based on that. I would avoid this company like monkeypox
BBB flagged company advertising garbage
As the BBB has flagged, "This company is advertising the trade name Government Auction Luxury on its websites AuctionKing.com and GovernmentAuctionLuxury.com...BBB wrote to the company requesting documentation that they are authorized to auction government property. The company failed to provide this."
Now from my personal research, it goes deeper than this as they are also known as All Finance LLC / Finance All LLC, a predatory company that finances/sells land that is considered worthless, but they advertise it as a great investment or land you can live on. Which is true if you plan to helicopter your way onto the land(most of it is landlocked) or like flood waters drowning your loved ones(especially their desert lands in TX, AZ and CA). Paul Sabesky plays some sort of role in this entire scheme. I've gathered enough evidence to forward everything to law enforcement and county officials and will let them take over the Investigation. Meanwhile, I'll keep warning others to stay way from this company and their other one, GovernmentAuction.com.
Really love the show!
Really love the show. Paul is so nice nd so gracious. He really seems interested in the products and people hhe sells for. The rest of the crew are excellent. I wish it the show still aired.
Avoid this Auction house
Sorry this revue was intended for KINGS RUSSELL AUCTIONEERS and not Auction King, Avoid this Auction house, they over charge on postage £30.00 to post under 3kgs of pens, cost could have been, Royal Mail, £4.70 recorded, or £7.50 Special delivery. They misrepresent the lots by not mentioning engravings on expensive pens, and they do not respond to emails or complaints. I buy from approx three auction houses across the country every week, and never experienced this attitude from any other UK Auction house, give them a wide berth!
I work for Auctionking.com and I did…
I work for Auctionking.com and I did not understand why there were so many negative reviews however most of these negative reviews belong to a different company named Auction King (not Auctionking.com) based out of Tampa, Florida.
In the past I have made the mistake of…
In the past I have made the mistake of doing business with Auction King. I never bothering to check the real worth of items I purchased from them. After all,I figured, they were an honest reputable company right. How naive I was. From the time I decided to stop doing business with them they have continually sent me advertising emails. No matter how many times I requested to be removed from their email list the only results seemed to be an increase in their spam. This is a warning to anyone even thinking of giving them any personal information a word of advice, DO NOT DO IT. It will be used against you in the future. Find an honest and reputable company to do business with. Believe me this company aint it.
Too bad I can't give them a minus star
Too bad I can't give them a minus star. Bunch of scam artists. Should be investigated by the authorities for mail fraud, and possible forgery. Run away from these cretins, liars, cheats. Live auctioneers should not represent them. Contact Live Auctioneers and threaten to boycott them and then maybe they wil not represent them anymore.
I have been dealing in jewelry and…
I have been dealing in jewelry and watches with AuctionKing for 3 years. We are very pleased with our purchases. We understood from the beginning, the appraised value is the highest given for insurance purposes. I am a Financial Advisor, and I tell my clients never to insure for the Appraised Value. Insure for a used, replacement value. Here is what I found at all Auction Houses, be careful when you buy. Dealers buy at these offered at Auction Houses and then double the price to sell retail. Check the appraisal. I suggest for jewelry, to keep to the G-H colors and go no lower than SI2 clarity. You can go to I1-I2, if you are happy, good, but I2 will be hard to resell. I have found AuctionKing consistent with other Auction Houses in all their products and services. When you are going to an Auction, you have to study, and learn, to get a good deal. I often will bid, and then stand back, and watch the bidding go far too high. I just watch then. Noticed too, last weekend, everyone was chasing the bracelets and no one was interested in the rings. Sometimes, it is the other way around. So, last weekend, I got a fantastic deal on a ring, actually, two fantastic ring deals. Rings, not the highest in quality, but far, far less in cost than ever be found at a retail jewelry store. It is a great experience, sometimes you make a mistake, you loose some money, as my late father in-law said, that mistake is just tuition towards your education.

$6000 for a ring You Can’t even wear!
So in about 2 years, my wife has worn her ring, bought from AuctionKing a total of 2 times. The diamonds fall out constantly! I have gave a bad review when I purchased it, but I am just at a loss of words. How can a company continue to screw people and still be in business? There are far too many bad reviews for all these people to be lying. How do you not stand behind what you sale? You guys manipulate your bids and still sale bad products. It is too late for me, but people please do your research before you make a purchase from this company.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
These people running this company are a bunch of scammers and it’s hard to believe that they are able to keep running this place the way that they do.
So I purchased a ring awhile back with an appraisal of 10 grand i got it for 1500$, the ring fell apart only a few days of having it, I took the ring to more then one gemologist to get it appraised and they both come back with around the same amount far,far less then what auction King said it was appraised at the ring was pretty much worth what I paid for it 1500$ I contacted auction king ( of scammers) and told them my situation and got the run around they said they didn’t do refunds and it’s purchased as is. One thing that I did have in my favour is the crappy made ring fell apart right when I got it so I started a dispute with my credit card company and after a month of written emails between auction kings and myself auction king lost the dispute because of all my proof and pictures on how crappy the ring was made.
I worn anybody thinking about bidding from this site is to stay away and go to a reputable place to spend your hard earned money.
And if anybody feels this review is not accurate I have no problem providing the pics and emails between me and this company showing how they really do business.
Terrible company
Terrible company. You request information several times, they NEVER respond, then when they do they are rude and accusatory and STILL do not supply the information. Most likely because they are a sham
Very considerate - Thank you
Won an item, very happy with it. But they also sent me a box of chocolates with the order! Very considerate of them, I appreciate it very much.
Customer Service has been incredible
Customer Service has been incredible. I won a diamond for -50% below wholesale and they got it to me the very next day! Better than any other website i've been in. Thanks guys for working with my tight schedule.
Auction king company cheats and uses…
Auction king company cheats and uses computers to manipulate prices. The system pre-sets the lowest price. Therefore, the customs never get a real bid unless the bid passes their lowest price.
I won two bids below their preset price, the computer changed the price after the lot expires, and destroyed my bid,
Highly inflated appraisals
Their jewelry is way over valued. A local appraisal indicated an actual (retail) worth of 10% of what Auction King's appraiser said it was worth.
Try to bid on coins? All the bids get pushed up past what the coins are actually worth. Are they ghost bidding the auctions out of sight?
The jewelry is junk, the coins are overbid, and I would not trust them with anything brand name (Cartier, Chanel) to be authentic.
AIG(L) has horrible reviews online, and Westfield Jewelry Appraisers is a phantom online. No reviews anywhere. No signatures on their "appraisals", nor does it even resemble an actual appraisal by a certified gemologist.
