Experiencing hearing problems. Build up of wax in both ears. Removed at Hidden Hearing in Lytham by Diane A first class service.

I've been with HiddenHearing, Lytham St Annes, for a number of years and have always had great friendly service. Receptionist Glynis greets you with a big friendly welcome and a cup of tea or coffee. Audiologist Elaine is very friendly and listens to everything you say. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly during the test. She advises the best option for you and why.
I had a fall, recently, gashing my head badly...my hearing aides were contaminated with blood and hardly worked.
I phoned Glynis the following morning, 21st February,
and told her of my problem. She took all the details and said she would phone back as soon as she had spoken with Elaine. Good to her word within the hour she phoned back with some very good news. They had spoken to head office and due to the circumstances they would, as a gesture of good will, be supplying me with a new pair of aids completely free of charge. Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE !
8th March..A great day, hearing aids have arrived and I can communicate again.

I have been a customer of Hidden Hearing in Lytham for many years and have always had wonderful service and advice, not only from Elaine but from reception too. During Covid batteries delivered to the door at home with no hastle whatsoever. My 6 monthly check today proved to me just what a professional operation Hidden Hearing have in Lytham. May I also add that my partner was with a competitor, however having seen and heard of my experience with HH ditched her aids and joined the Lytham HH service and quality team. Thank you

Elaine was brilliant

Made an appointment at the Lytham branch a couple of weeks ago because of a blocked left ear. Appointment was sorted very easily for 2nd of March. Diane welcomed me in , no problem bearing in mind I was 10 minutes early.
Went through usual medical questions all very professional but friendly too .
She started with the micro suction in my right ear, all done very quickly and no problems.
However when she started on my left ear, there was a significant amount of wax buildup and hair caught around it which caused me a bit of discomfort.
Had to come back a week later after administering sodium bicarbonate drops to ear and massaging the ear canal.
The second visit cleared the problem and I now have my hearing restored.
Diane was absolutely lovely and I can’t sing her praises high enough.

My wife and I were equipped with hearing aids at the same time, stepping up from those provided by the NHS. Elaine Norris provided a thorough testing for both of us. Then, several days later, a complete explanation regarding the use and maintenance of our new equipment. The few questions we had were answered fully to our satisfaction. Altogether - excellent!

The consultant was very nice and helpful. And much information was shared for you to understand your problem and then offer you a solution.

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. My father commented on how thorough the hearing test Elaine conducted was, he had never experienced such an extensive test in all the years he had been wearing an hearing aid. The new hearing aids Elaine recommend have enhaunced his quality of life so much it is a joy to see. This was truly a first class service - many thanks.

Dianne was excellent at clearing my ears as she was last time. She had been off ill and I was offered an alternative person , but I felt safe and confident in her skills. She also has good customer caring skills.

Ps your price went up 40 % from £50 to seventy. Not good!!! Your rivals still charge £50 around here and also offer one ear for £30. Had it not been for Diane I’d have gone elsewhere!!!

A very positive first consultation at the Hidden Hearing clinic in Lytham. A friendly welcome from Glynis in reception was followed up with a review and examination from Elaine (Audiologist). The standard of service provided by Elaine was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The suggested follow up procedures from my initial examination were explained fully to my understanding and satisfaction and my treatment has been initiated.
Based on my experience I would have no problems in recommending the services of Hidden Hearing in Lytham to anyone seeking to have hearing/ear problems investigated and dealt with.

What can I say! My experience at Hidden Hearing has been amazing. I have had tests and wax removal at the Lytham branch over the past few years and the service has always been spot on. I was recently fitted with aids due to some deterioration in my hearing and the results have been astonishing. The treatment has always been very professional and courteous, but most important of all it has proved effective. So, a big thank you again to Elaine Norris and the team for all your help, I wanted to award 6 stars but could only find the five stars button!! Steve R.

Elaine Norris was friendly, helpful and covered all aspects of my hearing. Good follow up service in place.

Went for ear wax removal and had a very good experience. Lee was very thorough and talked me through the procedure carefully to put me at my ease. The removal process itself was uncomfortable but not at all painful and I felt reassured by Lee’s care and concern throughout. Highly recommended.

My experience was great. I came in to get wax removal. Everything was explained in detail what was going to happen. I can now hear again. Would definitely recommend.

Lee Gascoyne carefully examined my ears and showed me the photo that clearly indicated the build up of wax. He then carefully and gently removed the wax and some dry skin skilfully and expertly. The result was a complete clearance of my ear canal. He then showed me the inside of my ears which were clear of wax. At all times I rated his expertise highly.

Went for my 6 monthly check up. Unfortunately when my ears were inspected Wax was found in my left ear. So a full examination was not possible. ELAINE NORRIS was very helpful and explained what action to take. Feel better now i know what had been causing my hearing malfunction. Elaine was very thorough with a pleasant personality. Thankyou.
