I've been using hearing aids for 15 years and have tried several high street brands. Cheryl at Amplifon Chester gave me the most thorough hearing test ever, and took the time to explain the results in... See more

The audiologist was great the receptionist was great ,What more can I say.
The audiologist( Waleed Rizwan) at Hidden Hearing says everything: clear explanations, step by step guidance, no rushing, and then that instant transformation when the hearing aids went in. Four years waiting on the NHS is a long time to live in limbo, so finally getting proper support It feels like someone opened the world back up again.
That moment when sound comes back — birds, voices, footsteps, even the little things I forgot That I was missing — it hits you right in the chest. It’s not just hearing; it’s reconnecting.
And going back for the fitting, with the same level of care and professionalism, just seals the deal. I was clearly looked after properly. It’s wonderful that I have got the quality of life back. A proper wow factor indeed.
Hannah was very helpful and explained…
Hannah was very helpful and explained everything in detail, about the difference between the NHS device and the premium device that was on offer.
The tests and differences I was able to hear was great.
However, the cost is quite high, and as I am waiting for further tests on the NHS regarding my Tinnitus I have put on hold my decision.
Very welcoming place
Very welcoming place, they make you feel comfortable while waiting in a nice and bright space. Rosie is a great professional, she explains the whole process with details and with a big smile on her face. Lovely experience.

Scam
Started well with your agent coming as a home visit, then quoted over £6000 for hidden hearing aid, absolutely ridiculous sum of money, told you can come into store to try but have to pay upfront to trial
Complete rip off

EAR TEST
Went for ear test, she was honest about treatment I would need. Had to go back for follow up, was only charged for original treatment. Have been there before, have found them to be very good at their subject.
VERY CHARMING YOUNG LADY
VERY CHARMING YOUNG LADY, ON TIME AS ARRANGED ON LINE.I AM VVERY DSABLED AND WAS PATIENT AND HELPFUL. SERVICE EXCELLENT AS USUAL
A very satisfying experience and very professionally executed.
No waiting so the appointment went ahead on time. Luke was most professional, fully explaining what each stage of the test was about. Very personable and thorough. A very satisfying experience.
Over priced and a bit manipulative - shop around!
I regret to say that my view of hidden Hearing is not as positive as that expressed by others.
Good points:
1. Thorough hearing test and explanation of type of hearing loss and what options I had to rectify problems - in December.
Bad points:
1. In June, recevied a call encoraging me to get re-tested. Found the person on the call patronising / talking to me as if I could not understand. Asking me to bring a family member or friend with me is not an option as we all work. Nor will it affect my decision to buy or not to buy.
2. Went for the test, which they said they could not do beacause of a wax build up in one ear, but my hearing less would not have changed in just 6 months!
So, there had been no need for a re-test, just the need to get me back in to see if they could sell me a hearing aid.
3. The hearing aid I felt would best meet my needs was £6,500. My level of hearing loss is not sufficiently high to warrant the cost (as was the case 6 months earlier). They offered me one I did not like for £3k plus. I said I would reflect and at that point their friendly manner soured more than a little. The receptionist was very offhand throughout - possibly because I had asked her not to talk to me like I was stupid in the booking call :). Change your attitude and I'll change mine.
4. Having done some research it turns out that I could get the same aid from multiple high street audiologists for £3k less (M&S, Boots to name two). Their prices are almost double everywhere else on the High Street.
Summary:
This business appears to overcharge shamelessly (and don't tell me you get in lifetime service), as your offer was much the same service as your competitors.
They are not honest in their advice that you need a hearing test - what they mean is that they need you to buy a hearing aid. Not the same thing.
There may be reasons for you wanting to hear from a family member, but there are ways of inviting me to bring someone (not expecting) me to ask someone to come and help me.
I'll save myself the time and money and buy somewhere else.
