All of my photos had been deleted

I recently contacted Dorian at Aura who provided the best customer service, probably the best customer service I have ever experienced! Someone had deleted all of the photos from my frame and Dorian was able to track down who did it and gave me advice on how to get the frame back on track. Thank you, Dorian, for your keen investigative work and professionalism.

Very unsatisfied

I was given an Aura frame for Christmas. At first I was excited, until I tried to activate it. Everything seemed to go well until it came to setting up the wifi. Apparently according to it my wifi doesn't exist, but all my other devices connect to my wifi with no problem. So what's the deal

Forced to create an account to email photos

If you want people to send photos to your frame, they need to create an account. They say this is for privacy but it's rubbish. All you should need to do is add their email address to an allow list.

Unnecessary burden for family members who you want to send photos. Stop forcing people to create an account. Totally unnecessary. Just let me add their address to an allow list.

I purchased this black screen for my…

I purchased this black screen for my mom’s Christmas present in 2023. Like my most products in this dystopian hell it didn’t last a year. It’s been a black screen for months and I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tips that are as far from helpful as they can get. For example one of them is “reboot to factory settings” with no instructions on how to do that and no way to do that with the app. I guess my mom will just have to enjoy her $130 black screen with the memory of photos it displayed for nine months.

Bad Customer Service

Product is good but if you have a problem forget about getting any basic help if it does not align 100% with a poorly programmed “virtual” assistant waste of time. You will even get surveys while you hope CS will respond to a pretty reasonable question. Just don’t buy their products because they don't deserve the business. No one is paying attention at all.

Outstanding Support Experience

We were gifted an Aura frame about 3 years ago. Last month the screen went blank and on Thursday I reported it using a chatbot on the Aura support website. Two days later we have a new Carver frame working with our recovered photos. It was past the warranty period but they gave us a new one anyway. We are very impressed!

Absolutely fantastic quality and size from the Walden Frame…

Absolutely fantastic quality on the new WALDEN frame. I had written to Aura about 18 months asking if they could bring out a larger frame as the standard one was too small for my elderly father to really enjoy in his care home room. I have had the Walden plugged in at home and am loathe to part with it!!! - the new much larger frame makes viewing photos a whole new experience . Whilst it can go on the wall - it also sits securely on a table too - Well done Aura - you have really nailed it with this frame!

Be warned about portrait photos

The screen quality is excellent but you really would expect a premium photo company to display photos correctly - unfortunately that's not the case. Be warned - all portrait photos will be shown cropped (so you'll only see the middle bit of the image). You can manually recrop each image individually but clearly that's not practical!

Best RMA process ever

I opened a new product that was sealed, and the display wouldn't show anything.
So I reached out to them, and within 24 hours, they had started the RMA process and were shipping out a new one.
And because the old one was no longer being made, they sent me a new one.
That is about 2x more in price.
They never even asked for photos of the issue, which is just amazing how easy this is.
This is easier than Amazon, which is kind of considered the gold standard at the moment for any issues, but now I have to say it is these guys.
On top of all of this, the app is amazing and easy.
It keeps up with all the features you'd expect and everything from other competitors except it is missing an upload progress bar (compared to the SkyLight app), which is not important as it'll upload eventually.
I've never had an issue with it not uploading.
Very happy.
In the future, I plan to buy another one just for me, and if anyone else I can think of would want one.
I'd buy these specifically to support the amazing company and how they treat their customers, especially with how easily they make everything.

Endless and quick storage of one’s photos.

I have enjoyed my experience of the Aura photo frame that I have. Makes photos look very good. Unlimited storage and the ability to store photos from most photo apps is great. Had an issue however with my frame which was swiftly dealt with and a new replacement sent out. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Need to add a way to delete duplicate pictures

Recently was gifted an aura frame. Easy set up easy to figure out. My one and only BIG complaint is there is no way to get rid of duplicate pictures except by going through them one by one. If you allow multiple people to download pictures on the frame chances are you will have duplicates. You need to add an easier way for deleting of duplicate pictures. As of now you have to go one by one which is a PIA.

I ordered a Carver Aura frame as a Christmas gift; as I received it I found that the object in itself was very elegant, plus the photo management from the Aura app was surprisingly easy and quick.
More importantly, the quality of the images on the screen is very good
Unfortunately we discovered immediately that rhe screen was slightly defective (an horizontal green line across the screen) so I contacted the Aura assistence; their reaction was incredibly rapid (less than 12 hours) and very helpful (a new frame was shipped even without asking that the old one was sent back).
All in all a totally satisfying experience.

Great quality ruined by buggy onboarding app

Frame quality is great, picture is awesome & delivery is fast. But all ruined by the buggy and overly complex gifting process which often fails. Meaning gifts are ruined on delivery. Endless family tech support with elderly parents. Spent a lot of money on three frames to avoid this as they had the option to pre-set. But when it fails it makes resetting and getting it going an absolute nightmare.

Really wanted this to be awesome but needs a lot of work on the onboarding process.

Mason Luxe Photo Frame

Bought a Mason Luxe Aura frame in December 22 and a second one in April 23 so I could have one to display Portrait and one Landscape photos. After approx 4 months the second frame began to have contrast issues and was clearly faulty. On contacting Aura Frames via email I received a prompt reply with some trouble shooting tips, which I duly tried - but the issue persisted. Aura CS replied back asking for my full address and I received a no quibble replacement the next day! I cannot recommend the frame and company enough. Great Customer Service and the frame displays my pictures beautifully!

Excellent customer service, when it was needed

Ordered the Aura Frame direct, delivered via Amazon. Box was damaged as not packed by Amazon at all. Complained to Aura who were brilliant. Customer service apologised and replaced the product - which was delivered within 48 hours.
