Delighted customer !

I visited the London store and Rosie could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. She talked me through all the options and worked really hard to find me the perfect ring to suit my budget, with no pressure at all. Resizing policy not explained. (continued below)

I'm going to start with the positives about my experience with Austen & Blake.

I work around the corner from Hatton Garden and had checked a few of the diamond/ring stores when looking for an engagement ring. I ended up getting the ring abroad, but as we were looking for fairly simple wedding bands, I figured we may as well get them from somewhere local - after being advised to avoid most of the places on Hatton Garden (overpriced, dodgy salespeople), I was pleased to see the positive reviews that A&B have and thought we'd give them a go.

I visited the London branch with my fiancé in mid-July... we had left it fairly late (4 weeks til wedding, 2 weeks until we left to head abroad for the wedding) to sort the rings, and when I called to book an appointment I was advised they didn't have any slots for the weekend left, but they would do their best to squeeze me in if I could get there first thing - of which I was extremely grateful.

The service on the day was very good - both the salesperson and her colleagues were very friendly and helpful - because we were on a short timeline they said we could leave the 'stamping' of the rings until after the wedding and they'd be able to post them to our address unstamped to save time. The rings did arrive in time, and my fiancé is really happy with her ring, an 'Acacia' band set with diamonds. I am also happy with my 'Classic' platinum ring... although I should add that it has already picked up several scratches in only a weeks use, despite being advised that platinum was much more hardwearing than white gold or silver. More importantly, mine was also far too big - but we thought no dramas - we figured that we would just get it sorted on our return to the UK.

This is the key point - at no point were we advised that there is a '30 day free' resizing policy, from the date the rings are received. This was extremely frustrating, as we were heading abroad for a month, so would never have been able to get them back to A&B for the free resizing anyway. We also were talking with the salesperson about us heading away, with no mention of the policy whatsoever...

We are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with our sizing policies. I have spoken to the relevant showroom who have advised as a standard they communicate our policies to all clients of ours. We do apologise if this was not correctly relayed to you. Potentially in the sale patter and rapour with yourself this was not clarified.
This documentation is however written on your order receipt under our terms and conditions, we also have this listed on our website for further information for our clients.
If you ever have any questions about procedures please do ask the showroom or pop us a call or email to clarify for you.

We are however pleased you experienced great service, that is really encouraging to hear. The Hatton Garden showroom are very accommodating.

Once again we apologise for the situation and the way that you feel towards Austen and Blake. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.

Great service in store when choosing an engagement ring. Knowledgeable staff.

I chose to order on line which was straightforward and the team were reat at keeping my up to date with progress.

Order was estimated at 2-4 weeks and arrived withing this time too.

Helpful staff

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very helpful to have the home delivery service so we didn’t have to drive back into central London to collect our wedding rings at an already very busy time. The rings looked as good as expected.

Great for jewellery novices buying an engagement ring!

It can be nerve wracking buying an engagement ring if, like me, you’ve barely ever even stepped into a jewellery store let alone spent thousands on a ring but Charlotte at A&B walked me through it step by step and made me feel very confident in my choice! Would recommend A&B to anyone!

Fantastic service and quality yet again

Engagement ring

My experience with choosing the diamond with the Remi setting was made so much easier with the help, patience and advice given by Michal. The whole process was incredibly easy from start to finish from seeing what we wanted online to making the appointment in store. Jessica went above and beyond explaining the different clarity in gemstones, showing us the different styles in rings and managing to get the pieces within 3 weeks of ordering.

The service at collecting was just as good, Rosie was very welcoming and made sure everything was ok and that I was happy. I will definitely be recommending the London store and look forward to using Austen & Blake again in the future.

The whole process was very easy, from my initial look through the website, to visiting the London store and our appointment with Jess who was very patient with us as we chose our stone shape. She has also gone above and beyond in talking me through the actual diamond we chose. The service at the collection appointment was just as good, my questions never felt silly or like I was taking too much time. Our rings are beautiful and I get lots of compliments on how unique mine is. I would very happily recommend Jess, the London store and Austen & Blake to anyone looking for a ring.

Engagement ring

Purchased engagement ring from Hatton Garden. The style I chose was Maria. We visited the store to see the ring as we were not confident to purchase online, the service we received in store was excellent, staff were very knowledgable and explained variety of colour and clarity, which assisted with our final choice. My ring arrived in two weeks, on collection we received the same perfect service. I would definitely return here for future purchases
