They cancelled without me knowing

They cancelled without me knowing. An absolutel scam!! Can only imagine how many others they’ve done this to. Avoid at all costs!!!!! Stick to companies you know or else these con artists will bite you in the a##!!!!

Seriously avoid at all costs

Seriously avoid at all costs. They advertise everything is online. We still can't log on after 7 months that and complaining constantly to them about it doesn't even rectify the problem. They used autorenwal on my partner for years... I swapped it and got our insurance for over £300 cheaper. Arseholes on the phone. Finally made them scan a copy of my certs through.... Not even correct.
Dont use them

If I could put zero stars

If I could put zero stars, then I would have!!!
Due to what MUST have been a glitch in their website I now have a 300£ fine and 6 penalty points!!! Online amendments are supposedly easy - certainly not with this company. They have you fill out the forms and then fail to make the changes anyway! Apparently I should have phoned to check - erm, so the point of an online service is what, exactly?
VERY disappointed in their services and will NOT be using them in the future.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

This company is terrible and should be avoided at all costs when looking for insurance.

This company deliberately goes out of their way to ensure they achieve maximising penalties and not responding even when you are away on holiday. They do not email or phone, just letters (unregistered) which unless you action in '7 days' they create further penalties. I switched to a rival broker, who insured me with the same insurer, and it was £60 pounds cheaper, they were friendly and actioned everything though modern communications - emails and phone.

Avoid at all costs

I was insured with these bandits,my car was stolen of my drive & all because I hadn't disclosed the car had 4 exhaust tips out of the back instead of 2 they put this down to none disclosure,so guess what they refused to pay me out £16000 pounds in total I found these lot on a price comparison site so expensive lesson there.

Thieves

I got a quote for a renewal which i accepted, a week later, i was informed my quote has double in price. when i decided to cancel, they want to charge me £80 even though it wasn't my fault for the change in price.
Avoid them

I will take this as far as to the Financial ombudsman

Cancellation scam

Cancelled my insurance without me knowing as was unable to take funds. Driving a week with no insurance cover. Doubled my insurance premium without sending documentation and charged 170 quid to cancel! Avoid these cow boys at all costs

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Cancelled my insurance claiming that I had not provided them with the correct information (after informing them that I had moved address and also provided them with all the correct information) and then wanted me to pay the remaining balance of £115.00, having told them that I would not be paying them a penny as it was them that had originated the cancellation they have now passed this on as a debt to a collection agency . AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE ...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

First of all they mess around with your no claims ie we havent recieved it or cannot use it they up the price of the policy and expect you to pay hundreds of pounds on the spot or they cancel the insurance after your first direct debit when they do cancel your insurance for no reason a few months later they dont tell you leaving you not knowing you are driving illegally AVOID AT ALL COSTS IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR LICENSE

Auto Direct Car Insurance Cancellation Scam

I have been with this company for a year - they were cheapest on Confused.com, which is the way I usually go.. Today I received an email from them saying they were sorry I had decided not to renew the policy and attaching a letter of No Claims Discount I might need to show my new insurer.

Two things: Firstly I have not told them I don't wish to renew the policy, and secondly, the letter boldly states that I have 0 years No Claims Bonus, when in fact I have in the region of 25.

This seems to be a ruse to make me call them, as it is around a month until my policy expires. They might well then apologise for the mistake - but will have me on the phone all ready to sell me a new policy.

This is appalling practice. I have written to the telling them so, and if I don't get a satisfactory reply will be reporting them to the Insurance Ombudsman.

Frankly, I'd steer well clear of this outfit..

Horrific experience please do not use

Took out insurance with these via a comparison website. I forwarded my NCD as requested by uploading it to their site only to receive an e mail stating they could not read it. As a result I sent a copy via royal mail and heard nothing back so assumed that all was well. Some time later I received a letter stating that as they had not received my document then my policy had been cancelled 7 days previously meaning my vehicle had been un insured !! I have now been on hold with this company for over 1 hour waiting to speak to someone about this and get my deposit back. In the meantime I have been forced to insure with another company. Please Please do not use this company in the time it has taken them to answer my call. Can't believe they have waited over a week to inform me and not e mailed or called me resulting in me using what to all intents and purposes is an un insured vehicle.

Please do not insure your vehicle with Auto Direct

Auto Direct cancelled my insurance and I only found this out 5 days later. According to them they have sent number of letters/ emails requiring certain documents for 7 months and because I did not reply they simply cancelled an insurance. My question one is why they waited for 7 months to cancel my policy? And I did not get any emails except a letter week ago saying that policy was cancelled 5 days earlier! Seriously thinking to make a formal complaint! In addition, I lost my 4yrs of NCB over this!

Awful expensive service

Great quotes on price comparison sites, sign up and then actually find you'll be paying a lot more.
Charges for everything, only a premium number to call them on...dreadful website which is a waste of time and won't let you log in. And if you need to change anything on the policy that add, yep you guessed right...more ridiculous charges.
On top of my orIginal policy prIce of £450 it increased to a staggering £1200!!!!
These cowboys also decided to cancel my policy without telling me, when it still has 3 months left to run.w
Their customer service is full of people with smart mouths and excuses, not helpful.
Don't bother with them not worth the hassle. I am in the process of reporting to the financial ombudsman in the hope of getting some of my excessive charges back.

Fraudsters: avoid at all costs

This company is offering v competitive deals on motor insurance & then trying to prise more money out of you by refusing to accept your actual No Claims Bonus information (legitimate certificates going back several years) - stating that you need to provide special letters from previous insurance on letterheaded paper in a v short timeframe as well or they want several £100s extra!

Do not use them as so much time spent it's probably worth paying extra to use another company instead!
