The part was delivered broken
The part was delivered broken, there was no bubble wrap in the box so the Part was damaged in delivery. You need to pack it better.

Sorry you can't read. The terms and conditions are the first sentence and there was a big sign on the parcel saying not to accept a damaged parcel, or to deal directly with the delivery person if you have a damaged parcel claim. We are mindful of our carbon footprint, so we do not pack in plastic bubbles but in recycled paper. Our staff have special training on how to safely wrap your parcel in recycled paper. Even bubbles don't help if the shipment is damaged.
I can't imagine how a gas pedal could be broken by shipping. Unless it was run over by a steamroller.

Toyota/Peugeot Alternator.
There was a choice of three alternators, one looked in very good condition, one not too bad and one looked corroded and nasty.
Naturally I selected the one that looked best and naturally I recieved the nasty one (Murphy's law).
That said it worked, just needed to clean it up. Delivery was a bit slow.
