Absolutely shocking from vettura…

Absolutely shocking from vettura motors, paid for the black audi s5 in cash on the 13/08/2025
was supposed to deliver it to my address a few days after payment, Stefan told
Me the car had issues, i was prompt on waiting for these to get resolved and to get the car delivered to me. Was a month on from the purchase date and still the Audi s5 wasn't sorted so asked for a refund on the 4/09/2025 as I was entitled after not getting the car sorted. Stefan Woodward then provided me with false documents stating that the refund has been sent on the 5/08/2025 from his bank statement when he clearly hasn't sent the refund of £18,000 I also insured the car ready for delivery which I had to cancel and lose money on. Further along the line l've had to get del bailiffs involved to try to recover my money that is owed which has further cost me thousands. I tried contacting him to resolve this and he has blocked my number and completely ghosted me about this situation.
It's clear to my knowledge that the logbook keeper has changed on the Audi s5 so something has happened to the car!

I’ll see you in court
Please avoid like the plague if you don't want a head

My husband bought me an Audi S5 for my birthday. We had no v5 sent ,we had to send off to DVLA ourselves for it. Contacted them numerous times as few things wrong,Audi garage confirmed problems, Ventura replied to one email saying they was abroad at a wedding. This was august! Since then they don't answer our calls, they don't reply to our emails,we've been down there and every time gates are closed. They don't care! Absolute disgrace! Do not buy from these fraudsters! We're now in touch with the ombudsman to sort it out. Gearbox light has now come on,I drive with my kids in the car and don't feel safe. Shame on them!

I travelled up from Kings Crosss London by train on 14.11.2025 to veiw the car
(I had bought a return train ticket just in case!)
I had chosen on the Autovettura webside and I was very glad I did.
I was impressed with the car and was met by Brett on arrival who made this experience a dream.
I drove 300 miles back down to London which took 5 hours to test the capabilities of the car and was very impressed.
I would recommend Autovettura to do business with for a good deal.

Totally avoid if you value your time…

Totally avoid if you value your time and money. Looking back I wonder if all the positive reviews are genuine or internally done. Bought back in May, 9 days after purchase it broke down due to a faulty timing belt, after promised its fit for purpose. Super quick to help when you’re looking for a car to buy… minimal (borderline absent) communication regarding refund after I rejected the car… was accused of damaging the exterior of the vehicle despite repeatedly showing them proof of the imperfections being there prior to receiving the car. One of the staff was quite rude and hostile. Took almost 5 weeks of trying calls, emails and visits to finally get the vehicle refund back. A further 5-6 weeks to get warranty refund back. In total took 2 and a half months to receive a full refund, which they clearly weren’t rushing or wanting to give back. I feel for anyone who gave up trying with this dealership. Poor service, car wasn’t fit for purpose and long time to get money owed back. Since then I’ve been elsewhere and the difference in quality and service is unbelievable.

BEWARE!!!

Beware!!!
I purchased a Mercedes from auto Vettura, initially Brett was very helpful, couldn't do enough to help and he was very informative all the way along the line keeping me up to date with when the car was ready for collection.
Less than 2 weeks of having the car my partner noticed some faults on the car, the front drivers side wing was raised (not attached properly), a plastic inner panel missing, screws and bolts missing from the wing and a very bad overspray when looked in more detail.
Then I got a power steering malfunction sign on the dash and the power steering had ceased.
I contacted Brett and he said to get in touch with the warranty to tow the car to a garage that he uses to fix the car.
Two days later not heard anything so called into the garage where it was getting fixed it still hadn't been looked at. The next day my partner called in to garage and asked them to have a look at it and to also look underneath the drivers side wing as he had suspicions that it had been involved in a crash.
His suspicions were confirmed with numerous problems with the car and the mechanic refused to touch it.
I then contacted Brett to inform him of these findings and to tell him I was returning the car under the less than 30 days rule.
From that day on which was in July, I have been given false promises, assured that he was going to sort it, told that he was sorting it but no actions taken to rectify the problem , he had my deposit and that my finance needed to be paid off so then I could purchase a new car from a different dealership. He told me he bought it from a friend and he needed his money back from him before he could give me mine, I told him my deal was with him and NOT his friend but this fell on deaf ears.
These lies and false promises continued for over 4 weeks, I was ringing him calls were ignored I would then ring off my partner's phone then he would answer, as initially he didn't recognise the number to be told the same lies that he was sorting it and to leave it with him.
I rang him one day and I was told it was his day off (it was his day off when I bought the car but he managed to do the deal by phone even though it was his day off then ) his manner became very aggressive stating that me ringing him all the time would not hurry this process up and said he said he was dealing with it and to stop ringing him stating that he could leave it the full 58 days if he wanted to be arsey before returning my money to me (Great way to run a business) I was in regular contact with the finance company and was told for weeks that there had been no contact from the dealer to the finance company. When I raised this with Brett all I got was " I'm sorting it" .
I filed a complaint with the finance company about the dealer and they said they were just waiting for him to pay the finance off.
I had to pay for taxis in order to do a 40 mile round trip to work, the inconvenience of not having a car, I was unable to purchase another car due to my deposit and my finance being held up with Brett , not to mention the expense, Brett showed no empathy of my situation and continued to spin me lies. Still not received an apology if my situation.
I was then paid my deposit of £4.000 which I was very grateful for but no finance paid off. By this time my first payment was taken out despite not having no car to show for it.
Again more lies saying he had paid it off and he wanted the log book, I rang the finance company and surprise surprise no finance paid off .
On Friday 15th Aug I received an email stating that it was all paid off.
Sorry for the long review I've tried to condense it, I just don't want another person to have to go through what I've been through with this dealer!
In conclusion if everything is fine with your car there is no problem and is very helpful initially, BUT if things go wrong with your vehicle then good luck as you will need it and be prepared for a fight and to be filled with lies and empty promises!!

IDIOT DRIVERS AND PRICES

Sold my van on cow wow to this outfit. Young lad turned asked to take it for a test drive to which I agreed, he drove around like an absolute idiot, I told him multiple times it was a 30mph zone. Proceeded to do in excess of 50mph on a main high street. I’ve reported him to the police along with footage from the front and rear facing dash cam I have fitted he obviously couldn’t see! We then arrive back to my address for him to come up with 25 different reasons he couldn’t pay what we agreed. I had the van serviced just before removing it from the road for selling. It was serviced by a main dealer and I asked them to correct anything that was wrong. Only thing they said which needed doing was one tyre very soon which I did on the way back from the garage. SHAMBLE OUTFIT, ENJOY YOUR VISIT FROM THE POLICE FOR DANGEROUS DRIVING!

VK17 FNT

I purchased a 2017 Range Rover Evoque VK17 FNT from this dealership Brett, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating.

Firstly, when I collected the car, it was clearly not cleaned properly. There were visible oil stains on the sun visor and the right windscreen column. Despite this, I chose to give the dealership the benefit of the doubt and took the vehicle.

However, just 15 minutes after driving off the lot, I received an "Oil Level Critically Low" warning on the dashboard. I had to visit a garage immediately to top it up, although the dealership did reimburse me for the oil I purchased.

Later that same day, another warning came up—this time for low coolant. When I called the dealership, I was told the car had been serviced prior to sale, but based on these issues, that claim is highly questionable.

The following day, things got worse. After refueling the car, I received a “Water in Fuel” warning and the car entered restricted performance mode. It wouldn’t go over 50mph, making it unsafe to drive.

The dealership’s communication has been incredibly poor when dealing with problems, though unsurprisingly responsive and helpful before the sale was completed. This contrast has been extremely disappointing.

I returned the car and formally rejected it. That was 10 days ago, and as of today (22/04/2025), my finance company has still not received their funds back, and I am yet to receive the return of my £1,000 deposit. I am now escalating this issue.

I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone based on my experience. The vehicle was clearly not properly checked or serviced, and post-sale support has been virtually non existent. Proceed with caution.

Dealer is great at blurring photos where oil stains etc are.

Update 8th April 2025 dealership still refusing to give me back my £1000 deposit

Vettura Motors is an absolute disgrace

Vettura Motors is an absolute disgrace. My car's gearbox failed within 3 months of purchase, and here I am 3 months later with NO working car! It has been in “repair” longer than I’ve actually driven it, which is beyond unacceptable.

They lied repeatedly, ignored my calls, messages, and emails, and even lied about paying the repair shop. The garage confirmed Vettura Motors never paid them, leaving my car stuck in limbo. They also refused my multiple refund requests, making excuse after excuse.

The first time I left a review, they apologized and begged me to remove it, promising they would sort everything out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took it down. A month later, NOTHING has been fixed, and they’ve gone back to ignoring me completely.

I contacted Citizens Advice, and they’ve told me to file for court proceedings because this company has breached my consumer rights act. They have had more than enough chances to fix this mess, but they continue to ignore and deceive customers.

DO NOT TRUST VETTURA MOTORS – they will take your money, lie to your face, and leave you stranded. I will make sure everyone knows how they operate!

Avoid Autovettura at all costs.

Avoid Autovettura at all costs.

I had made a finance agreement buy a car back in June 24, so got a train down so i could collect the car, Brett at the time was nothing but great and helpful, picked me up at the station and took me to the dealership, went to take the car a test drive and an instant problem arose and EML came on, took the car back around, got their friend, that definitely is not a mechanic to 'diagnose' the problem, and somehow came to the conclusion it did not have enough fuel, they added some fuel, cleared the code and said all was good, so i trust that and leave, no more than 5 minutes later as i am joining motorway, same problem again. Phoned Brett and took it back, i was happy with having this car so we decided i would leave it with them to fix and i would get a train back, countless back and forths later over the course of a month, to then i ask, if the garage says the car is okay and safe to drive just get it up to me and any small issues can be addressed up here, he agrees, i get the car back and was told it was an intank fuel pump issue, asked for reciepts i never got, they got the car to me and as soon as i drove off same issue again. So i told Brett that i would be getting the car into an approved Specialist garage, which he agreed too, and once the invoice came for work required i never heard from him for around 2 weeks. to which his reasoning was it was too expensive for the hourly rate, so i went elsewhere, other garage found what was believed to be actual problem, phoned Brett and made an agreement for work to be carried out and paid for, work was then done but was then realised it had further issues needing addressed, at which point they refused to pay the work that had already been done and then contacted the finance broker i went through saying i told them i dont want the car so they arent going to pay the bill they approved of, tried to make out that just because the bill is getting more he wants to take the car back, rather than repair the problems and let me keep it, to then be told by the broker that my only two options are to hand the car back and have the finance unwound or get the car to them so they can use their 'specialist garage' which is 130 miles from me all because its cheaper for them. To add to that i was told it had a full service and MOT, which i question as the Spark plugs were old and cracked, so not changed during service, the Air filter was disgusting so also not changed during service, as for mot, that car has near illegal rear discs that would be an advisory, had an oil leak that would be an advisory, and had a bad misfire that would cause emissions to fail, which tells me it wasnt a genuine MOT carried out. Overall, Brett will try and make you feel as welcome as possible when he is getting your money, but as soon as it comes to them getting their wallet out to fix problems on their vehicles it becomes a case of cat and mouse chase trying to get things done, they tried to come up with the rubbish that 'the car was fine when we cleaned it and parked it'. The problems it had wouldnt have just began when i started the car thats for sure. Avoid them at all costs

I purchased a BMW 3 Series 330E M Sport…

I purchased a BMW 3 Series 330E M Sport (2016) from this dealer just a month ago, and it has been a nightmare from the start. First, there was an issue with the logbook and incorrect plates—the front plate was different from the back. Then there were scratches on the car, which I overlooked, along with the battered rims. But the real problems started when I nearly had an accident because the brake pads and discs were completely worn out, and the shock rubbers were destroyed.

I contacted the warranty company, only to be told that the dealer, Brett, hadn’t authorized any repairs. When I called Brett, he asked me to bring the car to a garage. However, due to safety concerns, I had to take it to a BMW garage in Sunderland to get it fixed. Afterward, Brett refused to refund or even share the repair costs.

Now, I’m facing new issues: the check engine light is on, the gear refuses to shift, there’s a loud noise from the engine, and the car is stalling. When I reached out again, I was told the car would be picked up. But then a rep called me, saying I should take it to any garage and claim the costs under warranty.

This is unacceptable. For a car I’ve only driven for a month, the constant issues and the way I’ve been treated are shocking. Brett acts like he’s doing me a favor, and the customer service is incredibly rude and unprofessional.

If these issues persist, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further, return the car, and demand my money back. I’m extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this experience to anyone.

Lies and full of promises

My wife has been looking for a mini countryman to which we found her ideal option at said garage. I phoned and spoke to Brett who quickly put me into a WhatsApp video call and gave a tour of said car. Obvious salesman talk with regards other people interested and advised not to leave it too long. So after a very quick conversation with my wife we agreed to call back, almost instantly to place a reserved deposit in the car. He told us that the car would be fully mot as he knew the brake pads would be needing replaced but he would also make sure that the brake discs would get done at the same time. We agreed on a delivery date for 2 weeks after paying the deposit due to my work commitments. So in that time we continued to check to see if it had been motd. After a period of time had passed it had become obvious we were not going to receive it on specified date. A brief phone call to Brett and he advised that is was booked for MOt and to get pads and discs front and back replaced but he would call me back to arrange delivery. Again time passed and no phone call so I phoned him yet again to find out what exactly was happening. He then tried to arrange a delivery that I had told already was not suitable so we agreed on a date that was. DELIVERY DAY car arrived on time and was offloaded from a trailer and I was pretty much left with the car sitting on my drive with documents and keys left in ignition with no communication from driver. Can I just put in her now that he had driven 300 miles and I was going to offer him a coffee and use of our bathroom but he took off once he was paid 🤷🏼‍♀️Back to the car! On inspection I could see that It clearly had not been professionally valeted as promised, there was a mark on inside windscreen where there clearly had been a sat nav. Check to see if discs had been replaced and to my utter disgust they had painted the old discs with silver paint to make them look new! There was literally 4 miles of fuel available in the car so I had to go and get a Jerry can to fill up car before we could take it out as it’s against my grain to run a car with zero fuel in it. So out we go wife super excited until we hit 2nd gear. The car clearly has a fault which I’m 100% positive that they would have known about as it’s extremely noticeable. I sent a messaged with no response so I phoned to get an explanation as to why he would first of all lie about work that has not been carried out ie discs and the noise of the gearbox. More lies and cock and bull stories actually stopped listening trust has been broken. Now I feel I can’t communicate with this garage so have gone directly to warranty company and trading standards to get advice. Conclusion: just don’t trust them all they want is a sale not interested in the aftercare once the have your money. They pride themselves as a prestige car sales room don’t be fooled by their website. Highly disappointed ☹️ john

Usual salespeople aftercare

Overall I’m happy with the car. Mechanically I’ve had no issues so far and it’s a great drive.

However, I bought the car online and didn’t see it before I bought it. The walk through video didn’t flag anything obvious. I was aware of my rights to return the car so I wasn’t worried.

The car was delivered and, as the weather here was heavy rain and it was still dark outside, the delivery driver asked me to stay inside until he took it off the loader. He then gave me the paperwork and the key and left.

I noticed that there was only one key so messaged autovettura about this. At that point, they were quick to reply and say that, if I sent them a quote, they would pay for the key. I phoned about til I got someone to give me a quote which I sent to them to which I received no reply to. I appreciated that it was £400, however, would have happily negotiated paying half myself with them had they had the decency to reply.

Also, when I went to move the car into my drive after the delivery driver left, it was telling me there was low tyre pressure. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was low from having been sat in the garage. I took it down to the local petrol station and put air in the tyre which was good til the next evening when it flagged up again. I put more air in it and by the next morning was warning me again so took it to the garage to fix what I assumed was a puncture. It was a puncture, but due to where it was on the tyre, I had to get a new one which cost me £85. Again, I messaged them and sent them the bill to which I again received no response. Whether the tyre was punctured before leaving the showroom or in transit shouldn’t have mattered. The car was received with a puncture and was their responsibility to fix.

Also on a proper inspection of the car there were minor issues that, had I seen them at the showroom, I would have insisted they fixed before buying the car, which again I informed them of. The 12v outlets didn’t work. This turned out to be the fuse which I fixed myself. The back seat air vent was broken which will cost around £60 to replace. Since I have also discovered that the driver side sim visor has no cover on the mirror which will cost roughly another £30 used and however much it will cost me to get someone to fit it. There was also a scratch along the back bumper which I had to buy scratch paint for. As well as the car hadn’t even been valeted before they delivered it.

I appreciate that a used car will come with some issues and I would take the smaller aesthetics on the chin. But selling me a car with only one key and a puncture and then totally ignoring me isn’t surprising, but definitely wouldn’t buy from them again.
