I don't get why this company has good reviews. They made me pay while I didn't rent any car. I booked a car online and paid 88 euros, however when sending the documents the website forbid me to complete the booking as I am under 23 years old. So I booked a car from another company.
However, the morning I was gonna get the car Autoway called me and said they were waiting for me to get the car. To which I replied "I can't, your website told me I'm too young" to which the guy said "it's okay we can find a way". No it's NOT okay, your rules say I can't rent a car if I'm under 23, then I SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED to BOOK and not PAY AT ALL.
You are scammers and you must give me the 88 euros back.

I just wanted to let you know, that as discussed above, our terms are and always were 100% transparent and just.
We are investigating now to find out whom did you talk to on the phone who said that "it's okay we can find a way". It is definatelly not okay, and there is no way around it. We will handle the situation, and thank you for letting us know.
On a second note, family companies like us trully rely on the reviews. We feel that calling us "scammers" and giving us 1 star for something that, unfortunatelly is completely caused by you (knowngly putting false information during booking process), is really unfair.
We really hope that damaging our family's reputation has made you, at least, feel better.

Excellent service from start to finish.
We used Autoway Kos to hire a car for a week to visit the Island. We were collected from the airport on arrival and driven to the office to complete the paperwork. It was a very organised and professional service from start to finish. Yiannis, the owner also gave us some useful tips for eating out and places to visit and marked them on the tourist map given. The car was in very good condition and had just been cleaned ready for us.The car rental fee was 353,50 € which included FDW and an additional driver for a week. We dropped it off at the office on return and was driven back to the airport. I would highly recommend this company.

Great experience from start to finish
Great experience from start to finish. We left booking a car quite late, like a week before holiday. After searching every car rental company within Heraklion airport I found Autoway to have the best pricing, availability and the fact you don’t need to leave a deposit (some require €1,500) was a bonus, although I did take out the 0 excess cover, which is well worth it for the peace of mind, considering some of the roads you come across. Even though they have many different types of models available in the same class I phoned up a head and they arranged the car I requested. I will be visiting again next year and will happily use again.
