I wasted a lot of money on tarnished jewlery and fake advertisement!

I should have listened to these reviews but I gave this company the benefit of the doubt. The reviews are absolutely true. I don’t usually write negative reviews unless I truly feel I’ve been scammed, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary. It seems like many of these good reviews has to be coing from the owners themselves. I live in the USA and purchased four rings totaling over $175 USD that were advertised as 18K gold, and after wearing them daily for just one month, they literally tarnished. I am extremely disappointed. The gold color came off. The company claims a lifetime color guarantee, but this is clearly NOT true. The quality does NOT match what is being advertised at all. I have attached a photo for you to see.

I am a real customer and this is a warning. Please don’t waste your time or money—this is a complete waste of money, and they are overcharging while falsely advertising their products. I will be reporting this company.

Items never arrived, still charged

I ordered an earring set in early January and it never arrived. I was told multiple times to be patient and they would send it. They were very nice and responsive, but the jewelry never came. They were just buying time. This is a typical sort of situation with these companies they try to hold you off for as long as possible. It is now mid April and I have since demanded a refund but have not received any response. Surprise surprise.

absolute joke and a scam

absolute joke and a scam. Spent over $150 on jewelry, they sent only one email confirming the order and didn't ship it for two weeks. It arrived completely beat up. Many of the items wasn't even worth half the price I paid for it, cheap & poorly made junk. Additionally, they sent me a child's bracelet instead of a necklace I ordered. I sent an email with my receipt as well as a photo of the wrong item requested a replacement. They informed me they wouldn't do that without photos of every item in my order, as well as packing, and the original package and packing slip. Except.. half the items didn't have any sort of packing or tags outside of a little cloth bag nor did I have a packing slip. I informed them of this and also said due to the issues, I simply wanted to return the order and be done with it. The response was that they couldn't do a return with out all those photos. Absolutely unacceptable in multiple areas. Will never buy from them again. Was originally going to keep two pairs of earrings, but now will be returning every single item.

DO NOT BUY. CHEAP TAT

Very cheap jewellery with open links not like web photos. Arrives direct from China...not responsibly sourced as per website.
Paid £13 tracked return and the address didnt exist. Luckily paid via PayPal so had all the evidence and paypal refunded .
Gold came off after 3 wears...leaving ring half gold half silver.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality: I ordered one pair of earrings and three rings: all look cheap: stones are misaligned, the color looks wrong. I contacted them about the return, and was told that the shipment is international and must be paid by the buyer. Not sure there is any point in trying to return this crap.

My jewelry was really expensive and then I had to a lot of duty on it. On opening a cheap packet the necklace was broken and very poor quality.
I contacted them and all they said was return it at your cost.
No discount. No apology.
If I returned it I wouldn’t get the duty or shipping back.
DO NOT BUY anything off them

Honestly terrible

Honestly terrible. The jewelry looks super cheap, two of the pieces are unwearable, looks like child costume jewelry. I left a comment on their website but it is clear to me that they won't post that so that's why I'm here. I wish I looked up honest reviews before ordering

“Lifetime warranty”does not cover workmanship after 30days!

Purchased 8 bracelets from Avaria for Christmas gifts and for myself. Loved the idea of jewelry made for every day wear that offered a lifetime warranty. Upon delivery I was thrilled! The bracelets were beautiful! Gold color was lovely and quality seemed great. I was confident giving gifts I knew had lifetime warranties. Fast forward - after less than two months of use, one of the bracelets (luckily one of mine and not one I gave as a gift!) literally just fell off my wrist. I was clapping (hard to believe mild vibrations from clapping could cause damage to the bracelet??!) I didn’t feel it fall off, but luckily my husband saw it fall to the ground- otherwise would never have known what happens to it.
It is their Mirabella bracelet and the chain fell apart- coming out of the end cap attached to the clasp. The bracelet otherwise is in beautiful condition. (Wish could post a pic to show) There was no tension or pull to cause the separation. The end of the chain and inside of and cap are completely clean- no dent or damage, not sign of any residual solder or even glue. This was very simply a failed solder.
With complete confidence I contacted the company and explained the issue. I totally expected to return the broken bracelet for a replacement or quick turn around repair. After all, it had a lifetime warranty and I had worn it for less than two months.
I was shocked to be told they don’t stand behind workmanship after 30 days from purchase. Fading and tarnish have a lifetime warranty (but would like to see what really happens if you make the claim)- but if the jewelry falls apart -even due to poor workmanship like a failed solder- if it is past 30 days from purchase date you are out of luck!! No replacement, no repair.
In comparison, I previously had purchased a similar level bracelet from Amazon. The clasp broke after about 2 years of wear. Amazon customer service sent me a brand new replacement without question and told me no need to return the broken one.
Truthfully the Avaria bracelets are superior in appearance to the Amazon- truly beautiful, but their total lack of customer service lost me as a repeat customer.
I could understand if I did something that caused it to break. But this bracelet had been securely on my wrist, had been handled with care, not abused - and yet the chain just fell out of the connecting end cap. The bracelet had been worn for less than two months.
Now it is useless. They don’t even offer a repair for a fee.
So although Avaria makes beautiful jewelry and they offer a lifetime warranty - don’t be fooled. That only protects against fading or tarnishing - it is not a true lifetime warranty. There is no guarantee for workmanship after 30 days from purchase. Not sure about you, but with jewelry that is sold touting it for everyday wear, I would expect it to be superior quality and for their customer service to stand behind the basic workmanship of a simple weld. The bracelet should not have fallen apart without any provocation after less than two months of wear. If it had- they should have stood behind their product and offered a replacement or at least a repair. Instead I got basically sorry- my problem, not theirs. But please let them know if I ever have fading or tarnishing.
I will not purchase from them again. I’ll go back to Amazon where I know their customer service will stand behind their products without question.
The bracelet was not ridiculously expensive, but still for the price it should have lasted much much longer than the less than two months it did.
Choose another company with a better customer service record!

Please don't order from Avaria Jewelry...you'll be sorry

I ordered 3 bracelets and one pair of earrings. The earrings are fine but the bracelets wouldn't fit over my hand. When I contacted customer service they sent a return address which is in the UK. I'm supposed to send a return from the USA to the UK. Why? I saw they have headquarters in North Carolina (Raleigh, 1631 Midtown Pl STE 107, United States). This has to be a scam. Oh, when they shipped these items to me, they were sent from CHINA! If they are located in the US, why would anything be shipped from China since they don't ship anything to China (and Russia). I also found this - "Avaria Jewelry is an online retailer based in Sugar Land, Texas, USA Better Business Bureau. This means its principal place of business is in the state of Texas." I am very sorry I ordered from this company. It won't happen again.

Great - for a few months only…

Jewellery looks great for a few months but don't believe the hype. It does tarnish, the stones fall out, it did itch my neck - and so I guess there is zinc, copper and all the nasties in there. It's a shame because the designs are edgy.

No Return Process, No Response, Unusable Product

This is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a review, and unfortunately it is because this has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve had. Both earrings are unusable because the clasp cannot be opened, making them impossible to wear. The items are also much smaller than shown on the website and the quality is extremely poor. I contacted the company multiple times requesting the return process but received no response. The website does not clearly provide return instructions, which is very unusual for an online retailer. It also appears the company is not based in the US as suggested but ships from China, which was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. I was even blocked on Instagram after asking for return instructions. Check their Trustpilot reviews before buying from this company.

I’m really disappointed with my…

I’m really disappointed with my experience with Avaria Jewelry. I purchased a necklace, ring, and earrings that were not cheap, expecting good quality materials. Unfortunately, the pieces irritated my skin. The areas where the jewelry touched became red and uncomfortable, which I’ve never experienced with most of my other jewelry.

When I contacted customer service about returning the items, I was told I would have to pay the return shipping myself. I find this really frustrating. If a product causes a skin reaction, customers shouldn’t have to pay additional costs just to send it back.

For jewelry at this price point, I expected better quality materials and better customer service. Between the skin irritation and the return policy, the experience has been very disappointing.
