I went online to send my neighbor some flowers for helping me and saw Ava's. Said they were in Springfield and their prices looked decent. Ha. Nope. Add $25 to whatever you see online. I wanted the mini rose plant they had on their website. This all started at 9:39am. I get an email that they didn't have what I wanted and they needed to talk to me. you would NOT believe how many times I tried to call and they tried to call. To get a human was next to impossible. The calls that came in were automated and showed up from Delaware. One person, after I told him I wanted to cancel my order because it was getting ridiculous, miraculously told me they had the mini roses. OK, fine. I get a call an hour an a half later wanting to know what I wanted in place of the roses. So I was lied to. I will NEVER use these folks again. It remains to be seen if my neighbor will get her flowers and what they will be. I will update my review after the delivery.

Terrible customer service. I tried multiple times to get back in touch with the business after I was made aware my product I wanted sent was not available. I tried via call back wait list as well as messaging the live chat option. The company then replaced my item without confirming with me with something that was not comparable to what I had originally ordered.

The delivery was very late. The order was wrong and the flowers, card, and weird balloon reeked of cigarette smoke.

It was for a birthday. It was right on time and very close to what I ordered. But beautiful and well received by the birthday girl!

The flowers were as expected. But when I saw that I was charged a $30 SERVICE FEE that I had no idea would be added, I was very angry. You touted the “FREE DELIVERY” promise, but did not adequately inform the purchaser of this added fee which was 60% of the original cost of the flowers. This is excessive and deceptive and I will never order flowers from AvasFlowers again.

I mean, my order arrived when I needed it to but I didn't realize it would be on sale the next week. I saw it was blocked out for valentine's day, I thought I wouldn't be able to order then. Turns out it was the opposite.

I needed the delivery to made BEFORE 2 pm as that is the time she leaves for work. It was delivered after that time, and I paid extra for early delivery, but she had left for work and didn't get them until after midnight. They refunded me the extra charge but the damage was done and she didn't receive them on her birthday😞

Horrible company. 23 minutes, 2 reps, on hold 8 times to process a refund for a damaged package that UPS returned to sender.
This company is a scam.
They try to offer a 15% off, then when you decline, 30% off. Then you insist on a refund they transfer you to someone else who puts you on hold to "process" the refund. They claim family owned, this is the worst customer service process and I regret ordering from them.

My wife was happy when she got the flowers. She loved them and it got me some brownie points.

I paid for express delivery so the flowers would get to my girlfriend before she left town. They didn't show show even close to on time.
By the time I was able to get to the flowers when they were finally delivered. They were wilted and definitely not what I ordered going by the pictures. Much smaller, not even close to the varieties and looked like old plants. These were expensive flowers to order that are absolutely useless.

It was wonderful. Orchid was beautiful and arrived the day our sister in law returned home from the hospital.

Delivery was same day & very fast. It was an easy ordering process. My friend said the tulips were beautiful.
I wish I had been sent a photo of the flowers that were actually delivered so that I could compare them to the website photo. (my elderly friend was incapable of sending me a photo)

I would have left a zero, if I could. This was one of the most frustrating business to deal with.
My aunt passed away and I attempted to purchase a standing spray arrangement thru their website. it wouldnt take the order, kept saying fix the errors in red. there was no highlighted red box. called the next day, placed my order. everything seemed fine. within two hours my phone was blowing up, text messages. emails, phone calls, all saying there was an issue with the order.
When I called the number I was put on hold. for an exceedingly long time. when the customer service rep answered he said they were not sure they would be able to complete my order, but they would try. they wanted my cousins address in case they couldn't deliver by visitation or Funeral. I told them that I would absolutely not want a standing spray arrangement sent to my cousins home after the funeral. The guy said oh no we wouldn't send that we would send a more appropriate one. so I would not get what I paid for, and they would determine what they thought would be comparable.
When I explained to him sending flowers after the funeral was disrespectful, he said as an option he could send roses with some chocolates to the funeral home. I explained to him that sending chocolates to a deceased visitation was incredibly inappropriate. He didn't get, he saw nothing wrong with sending the candies.
I told him if they were unable to get the flowers to the visitation, then try to get them to the funeral. that was what was agreed upon with that phone call over an hour.
next day again my phone blowing up with texts, emails, phone calls saying there was an issue with the order. i talked to a women this time, she wanted to verify the delivery address. she read off my cousins address. I asked why the funeral homes address was removed, she said because the flowers would not be prepared by the visitation(they called me the morning of the visitation).
I told her that they could then deliver them to the funeral, she asked me what address was the funeral home. I said isnt it on the order? she said that my cousins address was now on the order. ( i had to look up the funeral home address for her). then she said she didn't think the flowers would be available for the funeral.
I told the woman, that sending them to my cousin was absolutely not going to happen. then advised her I would be canceling my order. she offered 40% on future order and still get flowers to my cousin. I refused, she kept stalling me on the refund. I told her that's okay, I'll call my credit card company and put a stop payment on it. she then tells me that it will take her 9 to 10 days to put in the cancelation. again I said that's okay, i will put a stop payment on it. she put me on hold, (again an hour call, due to being put on hold consistently).
she came back and said that she was able to canceled my order that day and my refunded monies would show back up in a few days.
Unfortunately due to the time constraints we were not able to send our love, respect and acknowledgement of loss, through a bouquet of flowers.
Never deal with this company, they have no concept of what is respectful for grieving family.
All in all over 3 days I spent over 3 hours on the phone dealing with a simple flower order.
