Scam

I placed an order online as they had an offer on BA Avios to get extra Avios so I placed an order, however after the date that returns could be made they retracted the Avios and the bonus Christmas Avios with BA saying Avon had decided the transaction did not qualify for Avios, I had read the conditions and placed the order and have since re-read the conditions, I feel the offe rof extra Avios was just a ruse to get people to order. Consequently I will never buy from Avon again. This was a deliverate act as I have purchased via BA Avios for many years and I didn't make an error, totally false advertising, they probably got more take up than they thought making a generous Avios offers, a company not to be trusted.

Really bad customer service!!

Really bad customer service!!! I have sent some returns back on the 6th of Feb.and it’s still on my account after 21days! I had emailed several times,also called but they are all saying different things! My customers are not happy either that they’re keep sending out of date products all the time!!!

Just wanted to give feedback. I’m really disappointed with the brochures, I know longer can smell the scent on pages as all I can smell are the pages now the scent is no longer there and I always buy perfumes . .

Total Rip off !

I have complained that they are charging me well over £21 for 4 bottles of Skin so soft dry oil all of which are completely SOLID AND CRYSTALLISED! The pumps don't work and the adviser has just informed me that they will be fine when they come up to room temperature which is nonsense because they are already at room temperature 🌡️ Avoid shopping with these people! I certainly won't be again!

Terrible customer service and courier

I placed an order last December which was marked wrongly by Evri as being delivered, it was not! I then got a refund and Avon requested to Evri the parcel was returned to them if found. Only yesterday the parcel arrived (I didn't know it was Avon until I opened it). After looking inside, there was one item missing! I called customer services to tell them the parcel had arrived after refund plus an item was missing. They were very aggressive, shouting at me saying the parcel should not of been accepted (I had already said it was taken as was waiting on another parcel and assumed it was that). I couldn't cope with the level of aggression from the customer service advisor and hung up. I then tried again and messaged on WhatsApp. They kept ignoring me when I told them I wasn't returning the parcel until they acknowledged that an item was missing and just kept telling me to call Evri and sort it! Eventually after 2 days of arguing with them they acknowledged the missing item! I will never buy from Avon again, stay well clear, it's not worth the stress!

Just yesterday I purchased an eyelash curler. I used it and I noticed how my eyelashes GOT RIPPED OUT like you gotta be kidding me right? Never buying anything from there ever again

Trying to force me to pay for items sent back

I was a rep with Avon, upon clearing a balance they sent me 2 boxes of things I did not order. I contacted Avon support and they arranged for Evri to collect the boxes. Between the delivery of these boxes and evri’s collection a balance appeared on my account. After many calls and WhatsApp messaging back and forth, they keep telling me I have an outstanding balance. I’m no longer a rep but I’m still arguing my case with no resolve. I don’t recommend working for them, this had been an ongoing issue from end of October when they changed their systems. For the trouble, confusion and cancelled orders they offered reps a £5 credit. I’ve not seen any £5 and creams. That I don’t use nor have ever ordered.
2025, this company has won and got money for items sent back. A disgraceful company

Online discount is fake

Online discount is fake. I was meant to get 20 percent off 25.00 but it showed 31.00 originally for no reason, saying my discount has been applied when total items cost 25.00. Do they think customers are so stupid that they can't add up? Terrible con!

Expected something more

I made a first time online order… excited when nice big box come to me but when I open, everything been just thrown.,.
labels on products bend, no security seals… no any bubble wrap or something, disappointing
I expected something more because this just looks sad 😫
Avon you need to start care about your customers because you having a nice products !

Don't bother... Aliexpress custumer service is better and that's says enough.

Avon UK has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced with an online retailer.

In my case, the carrier they used mishandled the delivery of my parcel, which ended up being stolen. The carrier acknowledged their mistake and even sent me an email to forward to Avon, confirming they would accept responsibility and approve a replacement. While Avon quickly processed the replacement in their system within a couple of days, it was never dispatched. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior in my opinion.

When you try to contact their customer service, you're stuck in an endless loop with a chatbot that provides completely irrelevant answers to your issue. Reaching a real person is nearly impossible, and even when you do, it takes around two days for them to respond with vague and unhelpful advice like "wait until the end of the week." This is after already waiting far longer than what should be acceptable for an online retailer.

If you're considering buying from Avon, don’t bother. If you really need one of their products, purchase it through Amazon. It will arrive in a couple of days, and you'll have the protection of Amazon’s excellent customer service.

Avon is a perfect example of why people lose trust in online retailers. Companies like this tarnish the reputation of the industry with their poor practices and lack of accountability.

Terrible customer service and offer…

Terrible customer service and offer code displayed on website not usable as it had expired! My order arrived incomplete - with no acknowledgement regarding the missing item. I used the phone contact and hung up after waiting 30 minutes with no response. The WhatsApp was useless - it took from 4 hours to a day get a response each time. I have been asked three times if I wanted a refund as the item was apparently out of stock. I confirmed each time and was then asked again. I tried to use the discount code displayed on the website. It didn't work! Surely a breach of trading standards. I was informed that it was a Black Friday deal only. Shoddy treatment of a long standing, loyal, now former customer.

Usually Avon does good products

Usually Avon does good products. Also customer service sorts out any issues. But recently very long wait to get to customer service.
I had been send a lotion without pump while I had ordered one with pump which is bigger too. Anyway I brought it to notice in September 2024 though I had ordered in
February 2024 and the customer service agent was very helpful and issued refund. But the meagre refund for 1.50 never came into my account. I called again and a second refund email was send on 15th November 2024 but till now no refund also have called several times...but no resolution. I have to repeat myself every time...not even given any reference no...very frustrating.

Undelivered items & dreadful customer service.

Haven't received items ordered. Tracking on Evri claims items received at their Delivery Depot but they haven't left there since. Wish I had read reviews about Avon's dreadful customer service before ordering - phone line unanswered after 30 mins. No longer able to tolerate ghastly racket of sound recording I hung up. I will never order from Avon again.

Never again Avon

Ordered online for the first time , ordered 4 items package arrived containing only 1 item spent 40 mins on hold to get through to customer service where I spoke to Mohamed who said he would re send the items I did not receive. In the meantime I had sent a WhatsApp which had taken 3 days to answer anyway my parcel was delivered today and instead of 3 foundations there was a nail varnish I am fuming I spent quite a bit of money I have not got my goods and I’m now on hold again never again avon. Update spent 60 mins on hold still did not get through tried again today still no one answering ive had to ask PayPal to step in now Avon obviously not bothered.

Items missing

Items missing! I've tried half a dozen times to contact Avon about items missing from my order...no joy so far. I have enjoyed Avon for years, but not delivering & not refunding the items is beyond bad customer service. I won't give up! 🤬

Terrible service. Not happy

I ordered 5 eyeliner pencils. My order arrived early than expected. Until I opened the package and found all 5 eyeliners were not in its original packaging and sealed. These pencils are expensive and you get very little. They do not last very long.
If I was to return the goods after they were opened, Avon would not accept it under any circumstances. Awful service and very dissapointed.

Telephone customer service is terrible…

Telephone customer service is appalling, waiting over 13 minutes to connect with a representative and ended up hanging up, if they don't want to listen to complaints about service then they'll never improve their reputation, my wife's ended her association with Avon.

Don't bother working for Avon

This is one of the worst Companies I have ever dealt with. My wife is a representative, but their deliveries are almost wrong every time. It is almost impossible to contact them, returns are not credited without prompts from her she has recently spent ages on the phone, and their WhatsApp system is a joke. She is so disillusioned with them she is packing in being an agent.
