No goods delivered after 5 weeks.

I ordered parts for a roll shutter blind in early June, they failed to deliver. Apparently the goods were delayed in customs into the UK, and are now on their way... but that was the story 2 weeks ago. Now when I message them, no goods, no reply, no refund.

I don't believe these people, I think they are not decent.

Not made to measure and no refund

I've ordered 'made to measure ' security blind from Avosdim In October 2020. When item arrived or was not made to measure so I was not able to fit it. Contacted Avosdim, they agreed to made new one 'made to measure' and issued £16 refund for inconvenience. It was meant to arrive in December 2020, in January 2021 still no signs of it- contacted Avosdim- have shipped it from Poland. Item never arrived as was heald at port due to paperwork and was sent back to manufacturer. In July 2021 they agreed to process outstanding refund- have not received money till date. Avosdim says they refunded me on payment method, but my bank can't find any trace of refund. When asked to provide international Visa reference- Avosdim provided their internal reference but not Visa reference that any bank could trace payment. So no money and no blind. Ok, I still have the old blind in the box as we agreed that we will arrange return of it when I receive the refund, but nearly 2 years later still no refund.

Avoid like they are the cause of covid.

They get one star because I can't give them zero, they delivered my roller shutter, Ordered on June 28th, was given a delivery date of July 28th, they communicate absolutely nothing. contacted them on the 29/7 and 20/8 after getting no update and no delivery. finally get some delivery information and was delivered on 26/8, unfortunately totally damaged and un-usable, looked like it had been dropped from a great height and then repackaged. I took photographs and contacted avosDIM immediately, I waited the suggested 48hrs that their website states and got what was expected, nothing. they finally responded after a full 7 days and this was after I had involved paypal. suggesting that I strip it down, they replace the parts and I fit them. I refused this and kept the dispute with paypal. I then finally get a response via paypal to deliver the damaged roller shutter to an address in London that is one the 8th floor of a business district. bare in mind that this roller shutter is in excess of 3m long and weighting over 30kg. you try and get a delivery company to deliver that. It's not going to happen. To top all this off paypal and avosDIM suggest that I return their damaged goods at my expense. Needless to say I have lost £371.02 because I cant get anyone to take it and the nearest quote is over £100 and they can't guarantee delivery. To top all this off the roller shutter doesn't offer what they state, security, I can literally crush the aluminium shutter with my fingers, engineering, the end locks fall out when the roller is moved and the cuts on the casing are that sharp, you can cause serious injury. Please for your own sake and pocket, avoid these charlatans and thieves at all costs.

*****UPDATE***** Paypal have refunded me the total amount, credit to them, but still steer very clear of AVOSDIM

Didn't check the reviews before ordering

Didn't check the reviews before I ordered a roller shutter door from this awful outfit,I wish I had. My roller door was ordered and paid for in April 2021 (via PayPal) and the estimated delivery date was 30th June 2021. With no roller shutter delivery to me I started my email journey, at first they answered me given excuses that it was almost ready for dispatch, then after another few weeks was told to give it another one to two weeks. Then they stopped answering my emails. After 4 months from when I had paid these people I contacted PayPal and thankfully got my money back from PayPal within a few days. The final excuse from AvosDim was my order had been lost from there warehouse sent out without being scanned.

Bad, so so so so bad. Beware!

I'm going to join the other reviewers and suggest buyer beware. The door screen was ordered to be custom sized for fit. The screen arrived and the box and all the parts were covered in metal fillings from AvosDim's "manufacturing process". Item arrived much later than the provided time and only when contacted did I get any kind of update but had insufficient tracking information. The final insult to injury is a key part an end cap as part of the sliding mechanism is missing. Contacted multiple times now and still no response. The last straw before leaving this review, the tension on the rollers is so high the mesh has now started to separate. It was cheap, too cheap, definitely does not have my recommendation.

Dysfunctional does not sum up this company Avoid at all costs

I ordered roller shutters many months ago. When they finally arrived they were damaged. I was told I would receive replacement damaged parts. Again that was months ago. I have emailed many many times and about 2 weeks ago after confining they had serious customer service problems, they offered a refund of around 10% as a gesture of good will for their incompetence. Guess what ?? Not arrived! They have only been consistent in failing to deliver.
I read with interest the MD Mr Adrien Lombard giving a speech saying how he wanted his company to be as big and successful as Dyson. He appears to be illuminating about his ability to run a dysfunctional company

Scam + 0 customer service + worst company to deal with +ignore all communication

Make sure you do not use this company ever. Their adverts are lies. 0 customer service. They ignore your email and avoid all communication. Order placed on 2nd of June. More than a month later it still no dispatch and no communication. Please avoid. This is a scam company which spend all in marketing to attract customers but they are not able to serve them

It’s a good job the shutters are cheap…

It’s a good job the shutters are cheap because the service is terrible. Started off with decent enough communication between myself and David who seems to be in charge of customer service. Despite long delays in delivery I persisted with the order. Once it had finally arrived months late, unfortunately it wasn’t made right and now they don’t answer emails. The door has no manual override despite ordering one. As my electrics aren’t in yet can’t fit or use the door. I have another door which has the manual opening function which works fine. Not the best courier service either.

Such a shame as I didn’t trust the negative reviews and went ahead but now even if they did get back in touch, which I very much doubt. I wouldn’t wait many more months of shipping back and waiting for it to be replaced only to have it finally right in about another 6 months.

Avoid!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Use somebody else……use ANYBODY else! Website looks great, takes your money you wait weeks and nothing turns up. No response to numerous emails so in the end I claimed my money back via PayPal and bought from elsewhere. Completely useless company….

Fake company

Fake company, took my money within 24hours on 9th June.Their website said I would be contacted within 3-5 days with tracking number. 3 weeks later still nothing. I’ve emailed numerous times & get the same automated email back. The telephone number does not connect.
FAKE FAKE FAKE I’ve now left a review on their Facebook page & trying to get my money back 😡😡😡

Excellent insect blinds

Excellent insect blinds , bought 2 of these blinds and although delivery was a couple of weeks longer than expected , they were worth the wait .
Instructions are well explained with pictures and as long as you have minimum DIY experience and understanding of a tape measure , these will be no problem to fit .
Took about an hour to fit both blinds and that was cutting them to length .
All in all excellent value for money and I will be buying some more 👍

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking, no communication at all ,don't answer phone,don't respond to emails. Claimed a refund from PayPal and ordered from another seller. Then with no notification the order arrived more than 2 weeks late. So now I have 2 flyscreen doors and £36 worse off. Totally incompetent.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Ordered made to measure fly screens and got a box of iron rods. Certainly not made to measure as you need to put these things together. Frames when assembled bend more than a pole dancer. Asked for call back, nothing, Nearly 300 quid down the drain. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Awful worse company ever dealt with

Order placed 11 April payment taken in full no delivery by the end of April. Avos Dim said it had been shipped with incorrect paperwork and had been returned to them ! They said they would resend it. 2 weeks later still no delivery. Asked for refund no communication at all from the seller. Logged dispute with PayPal still no communication from Avos Dim still awaiting refund nearly 8 weeks since order! Hands down the worse company I have ever purchased from or dealt with. Appalling customer service no communication apart from trying to convince me it had been re shipped. They take your money as soon as you place the order and then just aren't bothered.

non delivery and no refund

I ordered 2 blinds in February 2nd this year, paid for with PayPal. It is now the end of May, 4 months later. I still have not received my order and they have stopped replying to my (polite) emails. They are refusing a refund with no explanation.
The order was only for a small amount so not worth taking them to court.
Their web site is professional looking and is can't comment on the quality of their blinds, but my recommendation is very very very to not place an order with them

This company is absolutely useless. They are just modern day thieves they take your money and then for months and months you recieve no products or responses to your emails. The customer service is so bad. If your lucky enough to get the slightest reply it's just to fob you off for another week or so then before you know it another month has past. I purchased the items back in February and still nothing. Apparently they was posted to me a while back but they couldn't clear customs as the paperwork was incomplete and they are yet to be re posted out. Absolute con artists David never replies to emails, Facebook messenger to sometimes but only to fob me off. Next step I shall be doing a charge back from my bank.

Fly screens - not great - wrong dimensions sent

Ordered 2 fly screens end of march - received them beginning of may. When opening the packaging, I could immediately see the panels sent were completely wrong dimensions (I went to check my measuring skills against the window + what details I'd put in to them)- what I received was COMPLETELY wrong dimensions wise... I also received 2 massive rolls of fly mesh - handy, but I was really expecting this to be ready made (maybe that part is my mistake in that I'd have to make it myself - but that wouldn't be a problem if they'd sent the correct length side panel...) am awaiting their response re. customer service...
