Good price, reasonable delivery period and everything was in the box. Instructions were basic but adequate. I had to space the unit off the wall to miss the patio door handles but I used 25 square hollow tube aluminium screwed to the back of the guides - worked a treat. Setting up the limit stops took a while until I realised the unit was right handed so the adjustment screws were opposite to that shown in the instructions. All in all I would recommend this product for a capable DIYer. I am very pleased and it looks great!

I ordered 8 roller shutters for my 3-bedroom house. The costumer service was very helpful, responsive and did a very good job explaining me the products. The installation was straight forward and the quality of the roller shutters is very solid. One of the shutters had a defective motor, but avosdim replaced it without asking questions. Overall I can fully recommend the company.

The price was terrific, but equally impressive was the service. I'm a pretty hopeless DIY'er but the member of staff (David) that helped me could not have bee more patient an supportive. Without his guidance I could not have bought the goods.

I don't like be negative, but when you receive your item “MADE TO MEASURE” you expect it to be that.
1. My first order of “Luxe window roller fly screen – aluminium (ALU) – white – cut to size”.
I assembled it all, pulled down the roller would return to top. So I struggled to take it down. I then cranked the screen back up with an Allen key. When I tested it, it wouldn’t move. Turns out, the inner spool was too long. I cut it to size but it was too late the damage was done. The spring inside the spool had snapped.
I got in contact with them they told me to do everything I had done already then told me to return it and they sent me out a new one. (I had to pay for postage and packaging not received a refund yet)

2. My REPLACEMENT of “Luxe window roller fly screen – aluminium (ALU) – white – cut to size”.
I tried to put it up wouldn’t fit in the recess, too long again. But it was the casing this time not the spool. I cut it (straighter cut than AvosDim cut) and it fitted. One big problem I pulled it down and it would not return to the top. Rinse and repeat and the spring again snapped at the same point as the first roller.

The measurements i gave were less than the item i received (W-642mm) but i got given (W-643.5mm)

In conclusion unless you buy their PVC version just make your own. It’s what I usually do but I wanted a prebuilt kit.

I think they put too much tension weakening the spring or they buy cheap parts and sell them to us with a greater cost, they defiantly would not pass quality control if they do someone is taking bribes.
