Ordered a syringe of spores to test this company out. We usually use a different company. Yeah will ONLY be using that other company from now on. Awaken Mycology first we did not receive a confirmation that the order was even placed as we do with other companies, then they sent us the wrong tracking number. Then when I emailed them they said oh it should be there on the 17/18, but did not send a tracking number. Then I received a clearly contaminated syringe that also was broken so it is not sterile anymore. I emailed them and asked how we can rectify this situation. Either they send a new one or refund my account. They did neither and just said, "It's fine. Trust me." First off, I don't know you! And so far what I've experienced from your 'business' I say "business" cause I'm not so sure you're not a dude running this out of his bedroom at this point. I reviewed the product this same experience and his response was, "looks fine to me." Yeah this isn't my first rodeo with spores so yeah don't use this company.
**Update: Don't let their reply fool you on this review... I have been in communication with awaken mycology via email and they have no interest in resolving this situation. I emailed them prior to writing this review to give them a chance.

Had gelatinous stuff growing in the syringe when I got it and thought it was liquid culture. I’m new to this and didn’t know better. I tried inoculating 2 sterilized grain bags and both started to turn white and then turned green Grey ish. So I did more research and it definitely was not a liquid culture syringe. So I ruined my first experiment from the get go.

Product came in a week. Great product. Great customer service. Especially for newbies. You will have access to all the info you need to get it going. I highly recommend this company. Blessings.

syringe came fine but it appeared that it had either leaked or bursted open a little bit, i’m guessing this was due to extreme cold as there was ample bubble wrap protecting it. I am still going to try to research what was left in the syringe, hopefully they weren’t too damaged.

It took three weeks to receive the product. When I received the product all the liquid was inside the bag. What a waste of money in a bad experience. I’ll not be ordering a thing from you guys in the future.
