Beautiful, heirloom quality jewelry with unique designs in both silver and gold. Great customer care

Absolute garbage. Terrible shipping. Terrible customer service. And on top of everything they sneak some membership program into your cart. They charge you repeatedly for the membership month after month even after asking to be removed from their program. Absolute theft. This company should not exist.

They have stolen an additional $80 from my account after the initial transaction. And then they wait 6 months to respond!? Very poor customer service and management

I'll be honest, I snooped through the other reviews. I'm not wholly surprised, but yet also completely surprised. First off, I've been ordering from/interacting with them for only about 2 years. I don't have experiences past that.
I have had the occasional vague response from customer service reps, and they take up to or more than 48 hrs to respond depending on time of year, and day of the week. They are humans too, I assume most take off the weekend, and their covers go in order of emails. But they are generally very kind and helpful. Especially when my items fall in the warranty window.
Also, I've had items back ordered and they offered the option of refund or to still ship the item when it's back in stock. I'm guessing kindness begets kindness. Hm.
Second, tied into my earlier CSR contact, a gold vermeil chain had a weird fade out in under 3 months of barely wearing, and they were on it with the exchange. Completely free. They are honest with that.
I will say, yes, their shipping times are abhorrent esp during fall/winter/holiday months, but that's what you get. You either pay more to get it when you want it, or you risk delays. They don't control the weather or shipping carriers. I personally get everything when I see it which may line up with a sale, and the items come within 2 weeks, most often less.
My one major gripe is that, YES, the prices in the last year alone have gone up. The price of an exchange I just completed had a $5 difference. Yes, it's only $5 to some, but it still matters to me. The newer "special" items are for sale in the Thous. The gold vermeil (which I can only wear as necklaces, due to allergy of cheap materials) is already more expensive than the silver, which is why I only buy sporadically, and store carefully. It doesn't change that it is overpriced. But they have celebrities promoting the company so it's difficult for them to justify decent prices for the masses.
All of this combined dings them a full 2 stars. So, I can't say I've had such bad experiences as the others but they're not always that bad. I will make a side point that they gave a survey the other year, and I gave a recommendation that should have been heeded, but they didn't and it's one of the reasons for my decline in shopping with them. So, the higher ups care more about their celebrity clientele and normative standards.
Am I the only one noticing that their necklaces and jewellery costs was around £150/200 now the same pieces are out for + £450?
Bought a silver cross I loved and is holding up well with daily use. Ordered 3 crosses ( different style) and two extra cute chains for them. Received one cross and one chain. Customer service asked for photos which I sent and never got back to me…. Kept sending emails… need these for Christmas gifts!! Never answered and a week later I get a store credit! Totally screwed up my gifts
Cross not on website- must’ve sold out
Going to try to get refund from cc company
Their mistake and they give me a credit?? Unacceptable. Won’t buy again from them
I paid for express courier (Air) shipment so the gift would arrive weeks before Christmas. It took them10 days to ship the item, no replies to customer support emails, no answer to phone calls, and not a single apology. Awful, stay clear.
I ordered over 2 weeks ago, the orders is showing it still has not shipped, I was charged $333 total when i checked out. I waited 10 business days before reaching out, they have now been ignoring my emails for 4 days about my order even though they say they will get back to all emails within 24 hours. This is terrible customer service and I will keep writing bad reviews and going into public forums making sure im heard until the company ships my order. I am worried I will miss the Christmas window the order was even for at this point,. This is awful service. DO NOT RECCOMEND.
A few years ago I ordered several necklaces from Awe Inspired. They all tarnished and lost their gold vermeil coating. Since then, a certain pendant on their site caught my eye, so I gave them another chance and placed an order. HUGE MISTAKE.
Here's why I regret this decision:
-Packaging/shipping was ridiculously slow
-When I received a late shipping notice from them, I emailed them right away to ask to cancel the order because I knew I would be out of town and didn't want the package sitting outside while I was gone. I emailed them twice over two days, but received no response, even though their auto-reply says they will answer emails within 24 hours. Of course they ignored my emails and shipped the package anyway.
-Somehow I was enrolled in their "Goodess Package" membership. I don't remember enrolling in whatever this is, so I'm assuming you have to manually decline this membership like you do everything on their return page.
-When the package finally arrived, there was one item missing. Nothing was noted in my shipping email or on the packing slip, so I assumed it had fallen out of the box upon shipping since some of the chains in the package arrived loose in the box. I had to write them to ask about this missing item and only then did I learn that it was on back order.
In my opinion, their returns process is unbelievably frustrating and scammy.
-Extra jewelry items are pre-selected and added to your order (yes, they try to sell you more while you're returning) and you have to manually un-check each item that they auto-added to your order!
-Items default to store credit and you have to manually un-check each to actually request a refund.
-After completing the return request, a message said I would receive a return shipping label within 24 hours. After 48 hours, I hadn't received a shipping label, so I had to email them AGAIN.
(What is it with this place and their "24 hour" rule that they seem to ignore?)
I have never ordered from a more customer un-friendly company. The jewelry is low quality, and the website is full of a bunch of "sell more" tactics.
Save your sanity and avoid this place.
I’ve placed several orders on your website Awe Inspired. At first, everything went smoothly, and I made a large number of purchases. However, I later received an empty package, as well as an Alanis Morissette medallion with the stone missing. I was never offered an exchange or replacement for these issues.
More recently, I placed four new orders, and I’ve been told there’s a problem with Global-e — first an issue with labeling, then with customs. It’s now been a month, and I’m still waiting for my packages, even though everything shows as “in stock” on your website.
I’m beginning to doubt the reliability of your company. These will be my final orders, especially after reading other negative reviews. I also plan to share my experience with people in the entertainment industry whom I know personally.
I hope someone can finally address these issues and provide a proper resolution.
Sincerely,
I've bought several items from Awe because I love the designs but they screw up orders probably half the time. They've shipped me the wrong item before, sent a broken bracelet once, and now most recently, sent a shipment with a missing necklace. Then I have to chase down customer support. I want to love them but they're soooo expensive for what they offer and they almost always mess up the shipments. This will be my last Awe purchase.
Their sterling silver pieces are nice and they have some interesting items. The silver pieces are quality and not thin or cheap silver.
Their customer service is also great. Carrier never delivered an order & when I contacted Awe Inspired they reshipped my entire order w no issues & no additional cost to me.
I guess my issue is their pricing, it's just way too pricey for what it is. Almost $200 for a sterling silver necklace charm? That's crazy. Also, their "gold" is Vermeil so be aware. They don't try to hide it but paying $300 and up and up and up on basically gold plated jewelry is NUTS. I'm glad I hate yellow gold but I would never have spent that much on something not solid gold anyway.
Overall, they don't appear to be a shady company at all and have some really cool pieces but are way overpriced. Also, as soon as tariffs were announced, they immediately sent an email saying their prices were going up. They're the only company I have shopped with that has done that thus far. A bit off putting even for a heads up.
