We haven't actually gone on our trip to the Azores yet, but Paulo at AzoresRentalCars has provided superior service for our reservations. He replies to emails promptly and is happy to make changes and provide valuable information. It is a real personal touch and I appreciate that we have been able to rent cars through different agencies on six different islands working with one company and one contact.

We just came back from a week trip to the Azores. We rented a car for the whole trip. The booking process was very easy and straighforward. Upon arrival in the airport, we did not have to queue and the whole process went smoothly. Our return flight was quite early in the morning and we just dropped off the keys in a mailbox. It was a totally hassle free process and recommend 100%.

If you are going to the Azores Islands, Paolo is the man the book your car with. I was super worried because of the mixed reviews i found online about different hire companies but Paolo has been extremely helpful from the beginning. He even helped me with a last minute emergency to modify my booking when i missed my connecting flight due to a delay and got stuck in Lisbon for a night. Car pick-up and return went smoothly, reasonable prices and no issues with my debit card for the deposit which was also returned without any fuss. The car was provided by AutoAtlantis (i think that was their name) it was a decent car both on Ponta Delgada and on Flores. All in all great experience with Paolo's website and himself, if whenever im returning to the Asores, will mlnot hesitate for a second to arrange my car with him. Thanks again!

The booking was easy to make. At the pick-up location the rental car company had all the information abou the booking already prepared and it was nice and simple to pick up the car.

I had the best communication experience with Paulo. He answered all of my questions and made sure everything was in order. I had asked to pick up the rental car in town and drop it at the airport. He confirmed this was possible and verified every detail with me. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, we had to cancel our reservation and he handled that, providing a refund quickly and professionally. We will make it back to the Azores and will absolutely work with Paulo and Azores Rental Cars again.

Paulo was critical for the success of our trip to the Azores. Our original flight to Sao Miguel was cancelled and we were rebooked, so we missed our connecting flights to other islands with SATA. We needed Paulo to help us urgently secure an automatic car on the island for the 4 unanticipated days we'd be on Sao Miguel. He delivered. Wayzor was an easy to work with company and had a new fleet of cars; everything was very smooth and Paulo was communicative through the process.

I recently traveled to the Azores and used AzoresRentalCars to arrange my on-island transportation. Once I arrived in Ponta Delgada, the rental agency, Wayzor, had no record or confirmation of my rental agreement. After reading my emails with Paolo of ARC, they agreed to honor the quoted price, but had it not been for this, the price would have been much higher.
