I've been a contributor on Babel Audio since the English Emotion Project started in 2025. It has truly transformed my daily routine. What I love most is the unmatched flexibility. I have total control over my schedule and can hop on whenever I have free time, fitting work seamlessly into my life instead of the other way around. The work itself is genuinely fun and engaging. Reliable weekly pay is a huge plus. The support team and community of fellow "Bablers, Babelonians," etc... are also incredibly kind, responsive and supportive, making them feel like a real family. If you're looking for a legitimate remote side job with great pay and a friendly environment, I highly recommend giving Babel Audio a try - it's been a game changer for me!

I love talking to people so this gig is right up my alley. I use my old laptop and my sons gaming headset so I didn't have to purchase anything to start work. It's a contracted position at 17.50/hour but not having to leave my house and spend money on gas makes up for it. I spend 2 days per week working about 7 hours. The rest of the days I only work about 2. Thats also whats cool about it. You can work when you want and as much or as little as you want as long of the quality of your calls is good. Highly recommend for a conversationalist. If you don't love talking to different people about different things it may not be for you.

This is a great way to bring back the humanistic connection that people today don't get exposed too. With techology put it foot down it take away feelings and emotion that i think we as prople are starving for. So babel bring that aware and missing part that we as humans need

I love the objective of the platform! I find value and meaning in the work. It is very exciting for me, as an experienced actress, musician, writer, voice actor, to have a consistent opportunity to use my talents, intelligence, empathy, listening skills, and story telling to make a living.
The qualifying process is easy and with the right internet connections and a few essential and inexpensive pieces of equipment, I can look out at my beautiful view of the mountains, while making meaningful connections with anonymous people from around the world.
The pay is great and dependable. You work at your own pace. I was in the hospital for eight days recently. When I returned, because we are 1099 contract workers, my job was waiting for me. I have to start over again with a minimum call limit, but I completely understand why and they expedite quickly. The support team is outstanding here! I tell everyone I meet about Babel whom I believe would be a good natured, informed, talented, empathetic and compassionate addition to this global team.

I discovered Babel through a friend, and it’s honestly one of the best platforms for freelance work online. The tasks are flexible, the workflow is smooth, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable freelance gig.

Don’t waste your time. You can work all you can, do a great job, bring value and even like me use $300 noise cancelling microphones and still be flagged by some random miserable reviewers for “background noise” after the quality check just said YOU HAVE NO BACKGROUND NOISE! And then they lower the number of calls you can make in a day and kick you out while a lot of people with literally INCORRECT pronunciations and no knowledge of the topics can make hundreds of dollars every week. Honestly, take your hard work and talent where it is appreciated.

I love to talk and this seemed like a great opportunity to make money and engage in conversations with new and interesting people around the world.

I have been with Babel Audio for only about a week, found the info on indeed and started an application but did not finish as i was hesitant to try at first and put it off for over 2 weeks, then they sent me a final reminder to complete my application and i decided to give it a try and boy am i glad i did!

The work is fun and enjoyable, the pay is good and transparent on what your making, all i had was a very basic laptop and microphone and that was all i needed to get started. as soon as my application was finished i was able to get busy and the process was smooth and simple. This work has been a lifesaver for me.

I would highly recommend Babel Audio for anyone that enjoys talking with people and is ready to get started right away with an excellent company that pays well and offers the freedom of working from home! you can set your own hours and worktimes, and everyone i have encountered has been incredibly polite and friendly.

I have worked on several Russian-language projects with Babel Audio for about six months. At this point, it has become my favorite platform for AI training side work, and I have tried quite a few.

The interface is simple and intuitive, and I have never experienced any payment issues. The projects are genuinely engaging, ranging from conversational formats with other participants to transcription tasks. The variety keeps the work interesting.

Like any annotation platform, there are challenges. There can be technical glitches, pauses between projects, and strict audio quality requirements that are sometimes difficult to meet even with a decent microphone.

That said, the strengths stand out. The live chat creates a sense of community, and experienced participants actively help newcomers.
