Our Story The arrival of a baby is a very special time. And naturally, you want only the best for your little one. But searching for the right products can be overwhelming. There’s so much choice, countless product reviews and endless blogs to wade through, and often conflicting advice. How do you find the safest and highest quality products? Ones that will also suit your individual needs and lifestyle? Babylicious is happy to help. Expert Advice and Guidance Babylicious is on a mission to put the enjoyment back into your nursery shopping experience. We take the stress out of your product search, leaving you free to focus on the exciting times ahead. We offer a personalised customer experience. We listen carefully to your story and suggest the perfect products for you and yours. And with over 30 years’ experience, we have a wealth of product knowledge to offer. Our expert advice and guidance give you the peace of mind that you have made the right choices. A Fabulous and Unique Range As a small independent business, we have the freedom to carefully select our range. We seek out the best for you, visiting local and international trade fairs for fabulous finds. Our range features prams, strollers, car seats, nursery furniture and more, hand-picked from a select number of trusted brands. We also offer products you won’t find in department and chain stores. We have everything you need - from the essentials to little luxuries and perfect gifts. From our Family to Yours We have served generations of families since our store was established in 1988 - some are now second or third generation Babylicious customers. We truly value their custom and recommendations. Babylicious itself is a family business. Our story began when husband and wife, Joan and Anthony opened the original store in Moreton on the Wirral. As the business grew, we moved to larger premises in Hoylake. Sadly, Anthony passed away in November 2012. This was a time of reflection for our family; a time to look back on our many years in business. Our passion for Babylicious and its customers kept us going. A new chapter began when Joan and Anthony’s children, Ian and Sharon, took the helm. Joan, now semi-retired, still spends lots of time at the store. She loves welcoming our customers, having a chat and passing on her invaluable words of wisdom. The Latest and Best Products Keeping up to date with exciting new product developments and current safety standards is vital to the service we offer. Ian is always ahead of the trends. He has a unique eye for new and innovative products and a flair for spotting eye-catching designs (you could say, the boy knows how to shop!). His product knowledge is well-respected in the nursery industry. Ian is the only independent retailer to sit on the Baby Products Association (BPA) committee and helps to judge the BPA’s Concept & Innovation Awards. He is also a member of the judging panel for the prestigious Baby and Nursery Trade Awards (BANTA), where he helps to select the cream of the crop of the year’s products. So, if you’re looking for a fabulous product range, expert knowledge and the care and attention you deserve at this amazing time in your life, please call us or visit our store. We look forward to welcoming you to the Babylicious family! Ian and the Babylicious team x

Great communication and so helpful for me. Couldn't fault them at all! Although my order wasn't fulfilled (supplier issue) they were so helpful and more than happy to deal with this situation for me. Thank you Sharyn for all of your help.

More update on this merchant: after receiving no constructive update from them, I start posting on their social media sites, complaining their refusal to deliver my order and refusal to provide any update. Low and behold, they block me on FB and IG, and then has the nerve to shoot me an email accusing me of behaving in "erratic, childish and bullying" way. It takes some nerve to victimize a complaining customer like this. In any way, I'm airing their dirty laundry here publicly so that everyone knows what kind of big bully this merchant really is - if you don't receive your order, it's not our fault; it's yours for not reading our T&C fine print carefully. And if you complain about us publicly, we will attack you.

We ordered a Toniebox from Babylicious.org on the 4/12/2023, which we cancelled on the 12/12/2023 as they were unable to fulfill the order in time for our grandson’s birthday. The seller informed us at the time of cancellation that our refund would take 10 days for NOCHEX to process. After a further call to Babylicious on the 4/01/2024 to chase the refund up, we were told that the delay was due to “Christmas”, however the next day we received a refund notification from NOCHEX, and the following day (6/01/2024) a full refund.
I don’t know for certain which of the two companies were to blame for the delay, but I wouldn’t recommend either of them.
EDIT
Subsequent to my review of Nochex and Babylicious, I contacted Nochex on the number provided in their response. The young lady on customer services was very helpful, identifying my original transaction and also the refund, which had only been requested by the seller on 04/02/2024, and repaid on the 6th. It would seem that Babylicious.org had been less than truthful in their responses to me, so I would edit my review to: Nochex A++++, Babylicious.org👎

Ordered an item 04-Oct. It’s currently 22-Nov and no product to be seen anywhere! Wish I read reviews before using their website.
Website stated in stock and delivery would be within 7-10 days. Zero communication. You have to chase them, when they do respond there is:
- excuses for why they haven’t sent the product, ie item not in stock, technical errors, sorry we were OOO
- lack of an appropriate update - no indication of delivery timelines
I didn’t order a cheap product. I spent over £500 to be waiting 2 months later.
Go to naturalbabyshower.co.uk instead if you want to shop at a smaller establishment. They respond within hours AND fix any delivery errors. Updates have some meat on them and are not just excuses.
EDIT 11Jan24, in response to babylicious:
A business should take accountability when things go wrong. I’d also like to mention the correspondence we had, where you tried to mislead me and stated by UK Law you had 30 days to process a refund - this is untrue. Because I never received goods, a refund was to be processed immediately and you refused. To be clear, it is the consumer who has 30 days to request refund once goods are received. You can refer to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where it states “ A refund must be given without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days beginning with the day on which the trader agrees that the consumer is entitled to a refund.”
Luckily I paid via credit card and I used section 75 to obtain my money.

We had an amazing experience with Babylicious - lovely staff and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way to help us especially with the delivery dates for our pram order. They even offered to assist us in providing a pram already in stock to aid us in case our own delivery had not arrived when baby had.
I would recommend this company.

Avoid. I placed my order on 7.05.23 for car seat ( on website this item was in stock) delivery should be in 5 working days.
After waiting week without any shipping information from shop I contact them on 15.05. They told me that somehow they lost my order. Car seat is no longer in stock and they can get this shipped from Germany but different colour. I said ok. It took them 10 days to replay that colour swap is done. If I knew I would buy somewhere else. Anyway on 9.06 I contact them again where is my car seat. Already one month passed from placing my order. On 13.06 shop reply and told me car seat is coming from Germany, but I agreed for colour swap on 15.05 so I was waiting 4 weeks already. I was so fed up with them at that point. I finally had enough on 22.06 more then 6 weeks from ordering. I checked their website and car seat was showing as in stock. I wrote to then requesting refund because I can’t wait months for my order. After that they contact me next day requesting shipping address and today 28.06 I received my car seat over 7 weeks later. This shop is very unprofessional better shop somewhere else. Otherwise you will be chasing them forever.

Waited weeks for my order, which was only sent when I prompted, and then was sent the wrong thing. Emailed to request a refund which they refused until I had returned the item. I queried whether it was right that I had to return it before getting a refund as it was their error (and I don’t trust this company to process my refund), and I received a rude response. Wish I’d read the reviews first as others clearly had similar experiences.
Further to your reply - you’re making a lot of assumptions about my availability to go and drop packages off (then repackage them with the postage enclosed?!). This was your error. You didn’t bother emailing
me to say the item was out of stock to check if I wanted the inferior replacement. I’m not convinced you would have even sent me the order if I hadn’t chased you up in the first place. You sent it so late it wasn’t here for my daughter’s birthday. I’ve had to do all the running around chasing you up and now you expect me to spend more time sorting out your mistake before I can get my money back?! That’s not good customer service. I told you I would return the items but it may take me some weeks and I asked if you would process my refund in the meantime. You seemingly don’t trust me to return the items, yet expect me to trust you to process a refund, after your shoddy customer service?!

Thank you Ian! You certainly know your stuff! Thank you for spending the time to make sure I chose the perfect pram. Who knew it could be so complicated?! It was so refreshing to come into store and get the personal touch, rather than navigate this alone online. Can’t recommended you enough! Vicky xx

This company went out of their way to help me find things that were no longer available they had some in stock I had placed an order on the website and got a telephone call from Ian who told me the order I had placed couldn’t be fulfilled as they just did not have the stock. Then after several E-mails and telephone conversations he had managed to fulfill my order ,He had gone above and beyond to help me .I am overwhelmed and over the moon that he has found the items I needed .So now in the next few days my full order will be gratefully received.Thank you Ian ,and all at Babylicious for fulfilling an order even I thought was impossible.Nadine Li

Do not waste your time with this supplier and go else where, you'll have your money tied up for months with them.

Quite often we only leave a report when we are unhappy with something. However, on this occasion I can only praise the service we received.
The guy was very diligent and ensured we got exactly what we wanted for the best price based on the stock available. Can only thank him for everything he did for us and wish him all the best for the future, 100% give him a chance and he will find what you are looking for.

I cannot recommend this lovely family run business enough! We purchased an Oyster 3 pram and a Tutti Bambini Nova highchair.
Ian and Sharon are so lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. We spent a good 2 hours in the shop when we went to choose our pram, both Ian and Sharon gave us a demonstration of how the pram works and how to collapse it and put it back together again. Then we had a good natter about all things babies with this being our first pregnancy.
I ordered the highchair on Babylicious’s website and after a slight blip at the payment stage, Ian worked his magic trying to find out for me that the payment had definitely gone through, behind the scenes.
If I had any problems or queries, all I had to do was contact them and Ian went above and beyond always trying to solve my problems or answer my queries. This was always in a very timely manner.
Thank you so much Ian and Sharon for your help, support and excellent friendly service. I will not hesitate to return to the shop now that our beautiful baby girl is here xx

I ordered a Snuz Cloud for a friend who’s just had a baby. I had absolutely no idea what to get her and so I contacted Babylicious for some ideas.
Not only did they take the time to send me pics of suggestions but promptly replied to my questions.
They delivered the Snuz Cloud to my lovely friend and she’s thrilled to bits with it! Thank you all the team at Babylicious, you just couldn’t have been more helpful!

I ordered a Tutti Bambini cot which I knew from enquiries was going to be tricky to get hold of. Babylicious were extremely easy people to deal with, the website is excellent and the payment went through smoothly and I got confirmation of my payment. The cot has arrived today in only 6 weeks when I was expecting it to take 12 weeks. I highly recommend this seller for their excellent service.

I purchased a Kidsmill high chair from Babylicious last year, before my daughter was born in September.
When my baby was almost 6 months old we removed the new born seat brackets from the high chair base and made it into the proper sitting up high chair with the tray. The first few times we tried to use it I could hardly get my baby in or out of the seat. The gap between the back of the seat and the tray/front bracket was very small and the gap and angle between the front bracket and the seat was also tight. I contacted Babylicious who told me that it was the same style as other well known chairs such as the Stokke Tripp Trapp and therefore I should either lower the seat or I must have built it incorrectly.
I triple checked I had followed the build instruction correctly and as there is very little that is actually left for interpretation, I can’t see that I could have gone wrong. I lowered the seat as suggested and while this made it slightly easier to get my baby in and out, it is still a struggle and it still scrapes the tops of her legs every time we get her out. What’s more, it now means the tray is almost around her neck as the seat is so low - this cannot be right.
I contacted Babylicious again to say that this product is not fit for purpose and shared videos clearly showing the issues and asked for some help to rectify it or for a refund. They told me that as no one else has ever complained about the high chair and because we managed to use the new born section for 6 months and there doesn’t seem to be a mechanical fault then they won’t do anything and won’t refund me. But there is clearly a design fault.
The chair is meant to be designed for use from new born until the child is 99kg and it should be fit for purpose for the duration. It’s not acceptable to tell me that as I was able to successfully use it for the first 6 months with the newborn attachment and may again be able to use it once my daughter is old enough to use it without the tray that this is satisfactory. What about the intervening years? These years are the most important for high chair usage, as you need your child to be in a high chair with a tray to eat from??
The whole system needs to work for it to be fit for purpose and worth the money I spent on it. What do I do until my daughter is old enough to use the chair without a tray? If only part of your new car worked, wouldn’t you expect to be refunded so you could buy one that did work!? You wouldn’t expect to be told that because it worked for the first 6 months and might magically work again in a couple of years time that you have to just keep it? What do you drive in the mean time???
I spent the best part of £400 on this high chair and newborn rocker and I am stunned at Babylicious’s lack of concern or action. I wanted to share my story so that others do not make the same mistake of buying from this retailer who don’t uphold consumer rights.

We are beyond happy with our Dubatti Stroller and in love with the quality, color and material used. This stroller is simple to use and operate on a daily basis. Joan did an Excellent Job with guiding us through the whole order process by getting the stroller to the United States. We were even shocked that the stroller arrived sooner than the expected date. I highly recommend Dubatti Stroller from Babylicious.org
Thank You Joan and your team!
