I ordered a balloon for my daughters 21st Birthday to be delivered at her university address as she wasn’t able to come home in the day. I received an email on the morning from DHL giving a 1 hour time slot - 10.30-11.30am when DHL would deliver so I checked she’d definitely be home. She waited in until 2pm and still no delivery. DHL tracking offered no more information other than ‘sorry your delivery has been delayed’. At 2pm she went out for a birthday lunch and delivery came at 2.30pm. No-one home so delivery wasn’t made. They tried again the next day and no-one was home again so went away again. I emailed Balloons by Celebrations to say how disappointed I was that this had not been delivered at the time stated and just received an obviously copied and pasted response stating terms and conditions and advising me that she could go and collect said balloon herself from the DHL warehouse. Of course, the surprise had been ruined on the day when I had to make sure she would stay in for the delivery but to make her go and collect it three days after her birthday? I was going to order from this company again for a bigger event but I’m afraid their lack of customer service has made me look at other balloon companies instead.

I ordered a 16th birthday balloon for my niece, which cost £34.99. The date of delivery was selected for her birthday, but I was told on her birthday, it would be delayed, and no refund would be given. I do not recommend this company, as they do not care about their customers.

I ordered a bubble balloon for my mum's 80th birthday party. It was to be delivered to the restaurant where the party was being held. The balloon was delivered on time and to the correct address. No issues. Happy with their service and mum loved the balloon. Thank you.

I wish there was a ZERO star option!!! I ordered what should have been a beautiful and magical addition to all my daughters other 18th birthday party 🥳 surprises!!! It was defo a surprise…….a negative one that is!!! The feeling of being *under*whelmed is even an understatement……..I cried because all I was asking for was great memories for her 18th birthday and the thing that this company sent was so far from magical to the point “lead balloon” springs to mind!!! The so called balloon bubble was going to pop out of the delivery box surrounded by smaller colour coordinated balloons 🎈💖!!! What did happen though was a partially deflated / partially filled helium bubble balloon wrapped in thick blue plastic that just stayed stuck in the box on a string approx only 20cm long with a balloon weight on the end. There were no extra balloons to give the bubble balloon any form of push or lift out of the box 📦 (just an otherwise empty box with a half inflated bubble balloon tightly wrapped in blue plastic!!!) it did though at least have my daughters name and age correctly printed on the balloon which was a plus 🤣🤣…….I paid £45 for this heartbreaker and even though numerous attempts to contact the company have been made they have rudely choose to ignore me. Luckily I found another local-ish company whom managed to put me a balloon table centrepiece together in time for the 18th party celebrations!!
