The dress is okay- the color looks nice against my complexion- but it has a funny smell, and the material is cheap; however, the size fits me-I don’t have to do much altering- if any. I ordered an xs... See more

I ordered a dress and it came used and…
I ordered a dress and it came used and dirty. I tried for almost 3 days to get in touch with someone in customer service through email and text but they don't even have a phone number. No one got back to me until the third day and told me I had to unwrap it again and take pictures of where it was dirty etc. I told them absolutely not was I opening it again Lord knows what I was touching I just wanted an exchange. She said no you need to take pictures before we will even allow a return. Also their return policy is only 14 days now. Run, don't walk away from this "company."
They lost my dress during shipping and…
They lost my dress during shipping and then issued a store credit that doesn’t even cover the cost of the dress I already paid for. On top of that, they don’t offer refunds if the dress doesn’t work out. Absolute nightmare to deal with. Never order from this company.
Never received package.
Ordered a dress from them and it never got delivered. I understand that once they ship it, the postal service is responsible for getting it to me, but once I informed the customer service department they basically told me there is nothing they could do about the product and money that had been lost. They offered a 40% discount for me to order the product again, but I don’t really care to order from them again so it’s just money lost.
Horrible Customer Service
I’m sharing this so other customers clearly understand how Baltic Børn’s returns and store credit actually work. Most unfriendly customer service as well.
After returning dresses, I requested a refund back to my original form of payment. This was refused, and I was issued store credit instead. I then spent months trying to find something I would genuinely want to purchase. Eventually, I felt pressured to buy something simply to avoid losing the credit.
I had $192.06 in store credit and placed an order that included pajamas and a ring. The ring was later canceled because it was out of stock and never shipped. However, my store credit had already been applied to the entire checkout total, including shipping, taxes, and additional fees.
When the ring was refunded, only the base item price was returned to store credit. None of the shipping, taxes, or fees were refunded — even though I never received the item. After keeping an $84 pajama set, my remaining store credit was only $85.39.
Customer service confirmed this was intentional and “policy,” but this was not clearly disclosed during checkout and materially reduced the value of my original refund. The process was opaque, inflexible, and dismissive once concerns were raised.
I’ll use the remaining credit and will not purchase from Baltic Børn EVER AGAIN. I recommend other customers read the return and store credit fine print very carefully before ordering.
Baltic Born will not hold themselves accountable
I had a package lost and I messaged the company and they told me it is not their responsibility and that they will not refund the product and just give me 40% off to order the exact same dresses. I lost all respect when I spent well $100 on the two dresses.
Buyer beware
First off I had to return a dress I ordered. They were only going to give me the sales price. I hadn’t had the dress but maybe 10 days at most.
I made an error when filling out the return slip online. I went back in to try and get a return label which I failed to print off after filling out the return form. I did not see a return label after I completed the form. I contacted by phoneBaltic Born least twice twice with the message that they would get back to me in 24 hours. I also emailed them requesting a return label. I did get a reply to my email three times with the same canned response. No one ever called me back.
I had ordered a mother of the bride dress. The dress is still sitting in my house, not knowing where I need to return it.
At this point, I’m wondering how reputable this company is.

Buyer Beware - inaccurate products & terrible customer service
I have placed a few orders from Baltic Born. Their clothes generally fit well and are accommodating of bodily changes like pregnancy. However, I recently placed an order to use a store credit from a previous return. The item was not as described, so I obviously didn’t want it. Baltic Born seemed helpful until they refused to issue a full refund. They are insisting they cannot refund the original shipping and that I owe them for the return shipping. They are deducting $19.50 plus not refunding rewards points to my rewards. I have never experienced this with other websites…typically companies are accountable for THEIR mistakes.
Would not order from Baltic Born again
Would not order from Baltic Born again! Terrible return/exchange policy, inconsistent sizing, and poor customer service. Final sale marking is not obvious and doesn’t show up on sales receipts. Can’t exchange for different size. Returns aren’t allowed for final sale and only for store credit with regular purchases. They push you to sell unwanted items on Poshmark since you can’t return. Terrible experience!
Buyer beware-- return policy change
Buyer beware-- return policy change? They will still take your money with no remorse. I bought 4 dresses in fall of '25. I planned to return what didn't work and paid extra for the "free return shipping," knowing I was going to keep one or two items but would return the rest. All dresses came wrinkled, all were ill fitting (the sizing chart is bs-- I sized up and they still fit weird), the "velvet" felt cheap, all were too long by about 4"-- none of them worked. So I went to return them and got burned by the policy that was in place at the time-- no refunds, only store credit. You'll see lots of people complain about that. I've been stuck with a store credit for months, I don't want to buy anything else from them, and the credit will expire after a year. Then I saw that they'd changed their return policy, likely from YEARS of people complaining about it. I thought I'd ask if I could please get a refund instead of the store credit, knowing they'd likely say no but I hoped they would do me a solid. They told me the "REAL" reason I couldn't have a refund was that some of the dresses were returned with dog hair on them. Y'all, I don't have a dog that sheds-- they showed me pictures of the dresses and the little notes they made on the receipt 1) I don't own a dog with fur like that and 2) They also mysteriously only found dog hair on the two most expensive items on my order, but still wouldn't give me a refund for any of the items. The company feels like a scam. Even with the new policy, y'all, read all the stipulations. They are going to take money to ship it back, take more money to restock it, and they are going to find any excuse to call the items "unsellable" so they don't have to refund you. Read the warnings!!! They literally said to me, "Our policies are an integral part of the online shopping experience at Baltic Born, and we strongly encourage our customers to review them carefully before making purchases." Basically admitting that they only way they make money is stealing it and that they warned you in advance, so if you still buy from them, it's on you. They sent me wrinkled dresses, they mail stuff out with missing belts and stains, so there is no "unsellable" in their world, but they will sure as $h!t call it unsellable if you're trying to return something for a refund. Save your money, don't buy from them, there are plenty of other places to buy cheap clothes (for actual cheap prices).
Poor Quality + Disappointing Customer Service
I purchased a dress from Baltic Born well in advance for my best friend’s wedding. I had read and understood their return policy, so I knew this was a commitment purchase—but I felt confident spending the money because the dress initially fit perfectly and arrived looking beautiful.
A week before the wedding, I followed the care instructions exactly: hand washed and air dried. When I went to put the dress on for final touches, the dress had shrunk, while the attached slip did not. The sleeves were noticeably shorter, and the fit was completely off. What had been a perfect dress was suddenly unwearable due to a clear quality issue.
I immediately emailed and called, leaving multiple messages. I didn’t receive a response for three days—with the wedding rapidly approaching. To make matters worse, I am pregnant, so “just finding another dress” wasn’t a realistic option, especially after already spending money on this one.
When I finally heard back, I was told there was nothing they could do, except offer 15% off my next purchase—which honestly felt insulting. That same discount is easily available on their website, and given the quality, cost, and customer service, I will never purchase from them again.
I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the low quality, lack of urgency, and poor customer support, I would strongly caution others before purchasing—especially for important events.
Buyer beware.
If you aren’t 1000% sure don’t buy…
If you aren’t 1000% sure don’t buy anything from them. I bought something and it was a quality issue now they want to charge me a restocking fee of $10, ridiculous.
$60 for a dress and they are only…
$60 for a dress and they are only refunding me $30!!! That’s insane. Would never ever order from here again.
Zero Rating if I could
If I could, I would give them a zero, a company that claims that it’s founded by women and understands our needs, has policies that are very unfriendly… once you buy something, they do not do any kind of returns, they also make it difficult to get a store credit … Have you noticed that all the social media accounts are deactivated? I think it’s because people would leave honest reviews in the comments that are not favorable to them… Shop elsewhere, this company will take your money and dresses look cheap
Quality decline
I’ve purchased dresses from Baltic Born in the past & they were beautiful, well made with quality material. I am so disappointed in my last purchase the material is obviously cheaper, flimsy & the construction of the dress is poor. Same size & similar design to my previous purchase & it’s way smaller, at least 2inches in the waist when compared with one I bought 2 years ago. It’s so frustrating because I really loved this brand. And their terrible return policy just makes it that much worse. Why don’t companies care about quality anymore? The decline is astounding.
Terrible quality and overpriced
If I could give this company and product zero stars I would. I was travelling for the holidays, and I packed my new $60 sweater without throughly inspecting the item, and after wearing it for an hour, a friend pointed out a hole in the armpit.
Once home, after traveling for the holidays, I reached out to Baltic Born to address the issue. I was informed that I had missed the 14 day damage return window and because it was worn, it wouldnt be eligible anyways. They then went on to tell me “As a smaller, sister run business, we have many policies in place for specific reasons, and we must abide by them. We always want to help and provide the best assistance that we can, but unfortunately we are not able to accommodate every request that customers may have.”
My reasonable request was for an exchange of the same item and they instead offered me a discount on a future purchase. Never buying from them again.
Would give zero stars if possible
Would give zero stars if possible. Low quality products and their return policy just proves the owners are knowingly selling bad products. The business would lose too much money if they actually offered a refund for unwanted goods. Avoid at all costs.
New customer who is 'one and done'
New customer who bought two dresses. They were good quality/fabric, but had to return both due to misleading color depicted on the website as well as length issues (both shorter/longer than depicted).
My Mikla dress came threaded with a long paper security ribbon through the arm and neckline with various warnings about damaging or removing under threat of not being able to return, etc.
Although I knew about the rigid 'store credit only', I thought at least one of the two dresses I ordered would've worked out. But unfortunately not.
The whole experience with Baltic Born feels rigid, punative, and not customer-centric. I also tried to engage the Live Chat on their website to ask some questions and there was a date-stamped auto-prompt message that said "We're out for the holiday but will be back December 1, 2025" (it was 12/13/25 when I tried to chat with them). Really poor.
Additionally, they look like they are suppressing Google Reviews AND the only reviews they allow customers to leave on their website (which all happen to be 5 stars) are from buyers who belong to their Rewards club.
I don't want anything more to do with this brand. I'm a 'one and done' customer.
Poor quality and bad return service
Purchased a black dress for a wedding. Dress was reasonably priced and looked beautiful online. The dress I received was made of material that was stiff and scratchy, tight in the chest and very large through the hips. Discovered the return policy is for store credit only. I have looked online to use the credit, but am fearful of the same issues and experience. So am just writing the cost off and will try to save someone else the trouble in the future. Really poor quality and horrible return policy.
I will never shop here again
I will never shop here again. They only offer in store credit for their crappy clothes. I just want my money back.
