Bambridge Accountants Reviews 

After reading the reviews, one would think working with Bambridge Accountants would be positive. It was the opposite. I do not recommend this firm.

Their service claims to be holistic with the UK and US tax systems and instead I found myself working with two different individuals without any regard to my overall position. Both operated independently as if I had requested help for only one country's tax system.

They refused to listen to any of my concerns and the expectation was that you simply pay regardless of poor service.

I also found Alistair to become aggressive when I (the customer) did not behave as he wanted- which was to simply accept poor service and pay the premium.

Couple this with the fact that there are disciplinary actions against the Alistair Bambridge, I would not recommend this company due to their low levels of professionalism, lack of customer care, and rigid approach to tax services.

Very professional and good service. Team has expertise in Accounting and financial knowledge. Definitely recommended for stress free Accounting service.

I have done my UK and US Tax with Alistair. He is very quick to respond to all my questions and I received my tax return quicker than I expected!! I had separate accountants before and it cost me a lot of money, time and stress. Now I can focus on other things.

I have been doing my own taxes for a few years and finally decided to invest in an accountant.

The team have been really helpful and made the process less stressful.

Cannot say enough good things about Alistair and his firm. Very professional, helpful, and provides good sound advice. To anyone thinking of working with Alistair Bambridge, DON'T!

He is untrustworthy and unscrupulous.

He has more than £20,000 worth of court orders against him in the UK.. and he's been kicked out of the ICAEW and stripped of his chartered status.

Is this the type of man you want doing your accounts?

If you don't believe me, put "ICAEW rebukes CCJ-flouting showbiz accountant" into Google search bar.

Tl;dr: stay away

After hiring him and paying for my tax preparation and receiving my initial information, he went two and a half months without any communication. I called and emailed multiple times a week for several weeks and got no response. Finally after about 11 weeks I got an email that started with "apologies for the delay". I spoke to him about this and he refused to acknowledge that this kind of delay was unacceptable and tried to defend this silence by stating that things can be busy during tax season.

It's also worth noting that since he's based in the UK and doesn't have a SSN, he cannot e-file your US taxes for you. This will lead to significant delays on the processing of your return by the IRS, and of course delays on refunds/payments from the IRS as a result.

I had the most awful, anxiety-ridden experience possible with these accountants. Utterly hopeless, borderline fraudulent in their mis-filing of my company returns and when you try and speak to them they refuse to return phone calls, emails - to the point where the HMRC just started contacting me directly!
Stay well clear!

Excellent accountants I have used them for several years and they always do good work and they are affordable. Highly recommended.

NEVER USE THIS ACCOUNTANT.

Alistair and his team completely messed up my taxes and put me through a huge amount of stress and hard work.

They took on my company accounts/tax return and suddenly stopped filing for companies this year. This left me with no help, fines and endless problems for my new accountant to deal with.

They didn't respond to any of my emails, and it seems that it has been the same story for their other company clients.

I would hate for anyone to have to go through the same stress as me. Avoid them at all costs.

I have had an accountant in one form or another for over 20 years. Bambridge Accountants are a breath of fresh air. Always ready to answer any queries I have, no matter how simple. Their fees are reasonable and I feel confident that everything is being dealt with. What a change! Thank you
