Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage - don't waste your money on this massage gun. I had one that was faulty out of the box - wouldn't turn on. They sent me a replacement which worked for 6 months before it completely stopped working also. I reached out to them for a replacement to which they responded they only have a 3 month warranty. Not sure in what world having a product like this with a 3 month life is acceptable. Very, very poor experience all around!

Disappointing

It wouldn’t turn on after 6 months. I should’ve checked reviews here before I purchase. It seems like some people have a same problem as me. I sent Email twice, but no reply. Very disappointing. I do not recommend. Do your research and don’t waste your money.

Extremely disappointed!

Extremely disappointed!! Paid a pretty penny for a massage gun for a Christmas present and it never even turned on.
Emailed the company, which to their credit I had a response on the 31st of December requiring a video of the issue to which I replied that very same day.
I have not received any response since and have sent multiple emails trying to follow up.
The customer service is appauling to say the least. Would not recommend this product to anyone. I only asked to have it replaced not my money back. Now I'm thinking otherwise.

When I first received it as a Christmas…

When I first received it as a Christmas gift, the unit did not work - faulty battery. It was incredibly difficult to get a hold of anyone at Bang, and even more difficult to have the battery replaced. Eventually, they did replace the battery. When the gun works, it’s great - it does everything as advertised! However, it’s now just one year later, and the battery on the unit is toast again, and I’m on the hook for another $100 to replace it! For the cost of the unit, the batteries shouldn’t be this volatile. Very disappointing.

Pro version - incredibly poor quality for a premium price

Bought the Pro V3 massage gun hoping it to be my daily muscle relief after work. I bought it on the 23rd of October after reading it's next day shipping out of the warehouse - I received the gun on the 14th of December.

To the company's credit - they gave me a freebie for the wait time, but after having to ask a few times about the status of the order, the customer service has gone a bit rude.

So I received the pro message gun after almost 2 months of waiting, hoping it'll be as good as the reviews say, but I should have checked trustpilot first. The massage gun came faulty.

The articles I found online recommending Bang must have been paid promotions.

At first it didn't turn on. Then after taking the protective film off it was turning on, but working for around 30 seconds and turning off, despite being fully charged.

I've filled the return form on the website - again there was 2 days reply guarantee, but it took about 4 days and an open ticket for a refund on PayPal to get a response.

In the end I got a refund and they said that I don't have to send the massage gun back. There's no service for those devices and they must be that cheap from the factory, that it's not viable to repair them.

0/10, would not recommend.

At least I got the refund.

I got scammed

I got scammed. Bang Massage Gun arrived, did not work. It wouldn't even turn on. Customer service useless, a replacement supposed to be coming but after 2 months no sign of it and can't get any response from the company.

Very disappointed!

I have never written a review about a product, but I am very disappointed as I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and six month later it isn’t working. I would have expected that from Temu not a reputable company when I asked about warranty they said it is only 100 days Which is a a joke.

UK Trading Standards Informed

Like many others have said, you pay well over £100 for a massage gun only for it to die after a few months. I've used this gun maybe 15 times, 2 full charges and its already died. Lights up when plugged in but wont move and dies when unplugged. They're slow to reply to emails and you have to chase them only to be told that they only have a 3 month warranty which is a breach of UK Consumer Law.

You can tell that the 5 star reviews are just employees of the company as they're all based in Canada yet all the ones from other countries are negative.

Save your money and go elsewhere. I've reported the company to UK Trading Standards.

Scam Alert – Defective Product and No Support! Do not waste your money on Bang…

Do not waste your money on Bang Massager. The product I received never worked at all – not even once. I contacted their customer service multiple times, but they refused to replace it or offer any real help. On top of that, the product feels cheap and is extremely overpriced for what it is. This company is a total scam, and their customer service is a joke. Stay away!

It didn't even last 3 months with maybe 20 uses in total, customer service don't return emails. Complete waste of money, the Kmart ones last longer.

Highly recommend choosing another brand.

BANG MASSAGE GUN - TRASH

Well, a piece of trash has unfortunately come my way. Enough to force me to devote some time to writing this review.

Just goes to show that spending quite a bit extra doesn't necessarily get you a better product. Certainly doesn't with this product, and the after sales service is just as pathetic.

This thing has had very limited use over the past 10 or so months. It's a bit awkward to use and looses its punch when you try increase the pressure in the desired area so a bit useless unless you prefer a tickle rather than a massage.

Worst thing is that it developed a serious and potentially very dangerous fault. Following a recent top up charge I turned this bit of trash on at the on/off switch to check it was fully charged and found it would not turn off. I could power up the unit whilst it was still switched off. See example at: youtube(dot)com/shorts/Bzw0gbsZmTg

Now, there have been numerous fires caused by cheap and nasty electrical products fitted with lithium batteries, so this is a major concern.

One would think that this would be taken very seriously by the supplier; that the supplier would want to remove this device from the market and replace it immediately to prevent any potential mishap. Surprisingly, NOT SO!

Eventually, according to them, after discussing the matter with the management team (hilarious) in Canada they decided to ask for my thoughts on a 50% discount off the purchase of a new one. My thoughts were to inform them they could stick this piece of trash where the sun don't shine.

In closing, if you are thinking about buying one of these, have a look on eBay or Amazon where you can find them at less than half the price.

I ordered the BANG Massage Gun for Deep…

I ordered the BANG Massage Gun for Deep Tissue Therapy at the end of 2023. The order arrived and the massage gun was faulty. The massage gun would not turn on despite charging. I contacted the customer care team straight away and they said the unit was faulty and sent out a new unit straight away.

Within 12 months of receiving the new unit, the new unit stopped charging and would not turn on despite charging. The unit lights up red whilst charging and won’t turn to green. The unit no longer turns on.

I’ve read other reviews on here and this appears to be a common problem and fault. I contacted customer service about this as I’m understandably very disappointed with the quality of this product. It is clearly a defective product.

I heard back from the BANG customer care team who admitted to the use of defective batteries in their units but advised that they only offer 3 month warranties on defective products. This policy is in clear breach of the Australian Consumer Law which provides that companies must offer remedies within 12 months of selling a defective product. BANG cannot contract out of legislative requirements and doing so can result in heavy penalties from the ACCC for breach of the Australian Consumer Law.

On this basis, I will be lodging a complaint with the Obudsman and ACCC against BANG for knowingly selling defective units and not offering appropriate remedies guaranteed to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.

Stay clear of this company and their unconscionable practices. BANG is a scam company.

Order never received, no response from company for refund

I went to order a bang message gun from their website and they took my money everything was all good until the package never arrived. I hadn't received updates and contacted them for updates. They either said they can't do anything or never responded. And I have tried to get in contact about this massage gun I ordered in October. They have horrible communication skills if anything goes wrong with your order and drop all contact the moment you mention you want refund. Seriously guys it's not worth the hassle. They scammed me out of my money and I'm still trying to get a refund and get in contact. I can't even review the product since they refuse to update me where it is. I doubt it even got sent out at this stage.

Only 3 Month Warranty for a Reason

I bought a Bang massage gun and used it..maybe 20 times? Then it stopped holding a charge. The charger itself seemed to be working as the light was on the charger and the gun looked like it was charging but just didn’t hold the charge. So a battery issue, I’m guessing. I contacted customer service and they said they wouldn’t replace the gun, as it only has an 3 month warranty, but offered me 25% off a new gun. I emailed back that I would not pay that kind of money to replace a gun that I’m going to get so little use from, and what else could they do to rectify the issue or fix my current gun? They did not respond.

A lot of Thera guns have a year warranty, at least. I would not recommend this one as a 3 month warranty is telling. I wish I had realized that was the case. I purchased because a friend of mine liked hers, which is also no longer working.

Stopped turning on

I purchased the massage gun pro 8 months ago and have used a handful of times. It stopped working (wouldn’t turn on). It was determined by the bang service team that it needed to be replaced, however they said it was out of warranty so I would need to pay for a new one.

Garbage. Avoid at all costs.

Garbage.
Died completely after 5 months. They said bad luck, it’s 100 day warranty only. For a $200 product!
Offered me a small discount to buy another one though ;) lol I wouldn’t give this company another 10 cents for 100 massage guns.
