I was encouraged to open and receive £25 voucher. Used once was not reminded of payment date and got a late payment fee. I phoned customer service and they said they had posted and it could affect my credit scoring! I asked about the £25 voucher and they said oh the staff told you to open the wrong credit card. Appalling service have now requested the account closed. My regular credit card so much better. Disappointing as was a regular customer of M&S.

Great company, not had any real issues. Only problem I have is in relation to points. I was told if I spent £2000 on my card within first 90 days I would get £40 worth of points (voucher) not heard anything since. The points thing confuses me. Apart from that all good.

They've changed the app so older phones aren't compatible. It's impossible to access via login, I've spent ages on the phone trying to get help with this. They won't allow you to log a complaint about it and are just encouraging me to close the account I've used for years. I'm having to wait for printed statements as all my payments come off this card. Then I will close my account.
Edit to add that the generic reply to contact customer support is really annoying. It's customer support I've been in contact with all along

I applied for a credit card, received said credit card 5 working days after as advised, also receive PIN number and receive a welcome pack. App won’t allow me to activate the card. I call the bank, on the phone for nearly an hour of silly questions, telling me to reinstall the app which I did, still didn’t work. Told me to try it on another device (I have an iPhone 17), explained I only have 1 phone and don’t want my banking app on someone else’s phone. Came back and asked what version of the app I have, clearly the most recent one as you know I’ve literally just downloaded it again. In the end couldn’t fix it. I explained I’d booked a hotel and tickets for Disney and was relying on this card for the flights. Told to try again tomorrow and see if it works and if not call back tomorrow and they’d escalate it.
Couldn’t activate the card, can’t use the card. Useless. And god help anyone without a smartphone. Not that it works even if you do have one.
Extremely unhelpful, absolute joke.

I was embarrassed when a tried to make a genuine payment via my phone with my M&S credit card which was declined.
I had not reached my credit limit, or was I contacted during the process of attempting to make this payment.
I did receive a text afterwards. I phoned M&S Pudsey ended up in Manila which made the conversation difficult to understand due to their dialect.

Absolute garbage! They have removed the option to pay your credit card by card, but the pay by bank doesn't work. I have had 2 missed payments because of this which goes against my credit rating.
They have said that I can use their sort code to pay, but that means every month I need to type out my 16 digit credit card number. The other problem is that I need to find my physical card as I only use Google Pay. Other banking apps allow you to view your card online, this app doesn't even do that!! I do not want to pay by Direct Debit as I try and pay as much as i can, but sometimes i can only pay the minimum. Please just bring back pay by card!

I've been a M&S credit card holder for a while which I only use to transfer balances.
Had the option for 12 months 0% balance transfer offer with a 3.9% fee, very easy to set up, no hassle.

I signed up for a 0 percent interest free credit card i put 1500 pounds on it then unannounced i got a text message telling me if i purchased anything else i would get charged a higher interest percentage on this amount. This is not a 0 percent credit card is it. Both misleading and false lies on m&s part be careful of tricks like this. Im not impressed read the smallprint first everyone. X
