Horrific experience with Banni

Horrific experience with Banni. I was approached by them to become an influencer, after paying for a necklace with my discount code it took over a month to arrive, and when it did it was in awful condition, poor quality and in cheap packaging not representative of the ‘luxury’ brand at all.

SCAM!

SCAM! ❌ is almost a month since my order and I haven’t received anything… the tracking doesn’t work, and they shouldn’t charge you for anything if they are trying to have you as an influencer! I never payed that much for a collar (I pay $45 with the “influencer discount”, normally is $75 us! That’s crazy) I fall into the scam because I read that it was recycled materials which I think now is a lie. Everything costs $75 US, it shouldn’t take this long if you are paying that much.

Don’t trust them like I did :(
I want my money back!

This company is doing dropshipping

This company is doing dropshipping. They buy the products on Ali Express 1 dollard and resell them 75 !
For exemple the "Selena Ring" on Ali Express "2019 New Style, elegant, simple imitation of Pearl" cost 0.01 Dollard, they use the same photo by the way. It is very simple to check it on the website Captaindrop.

Simply put, a not-so-clever scam

Nothing but a scam. They will send you an email such as

"I came across your Instagram - and love your content. I would love to do a long term collaboration with you throughout 2021."

First of all, they obviously have never seen the Instagram of the person they are contacting. Based on a thread on Reddit, they have even contacted people with 2 followers and zero content related to fashion or jewelry. I don't know where they get people's emails, but it seems like they will contact anyone. In a real collaboration, the company is definitely interested in your amount of followers, engament rate, etc.

Their own Instagram page is full of photos stolen from random people and it's clear that the engagement on their posts is not authentic. Keep in mind that nowadays anyone can buy followers, likes and comments. Seems like this is exactly what they have done.

It's a dropshipping business, basically they sell $3 Aliexpress junk jewelry for $75. If you agree to promote their crap, you don't even get it for free yourself, you only get a discount (again, a sign that it is not a collaboration with a legitimate brand).

I actually responded to their first email, saying that I'm not interested in taking part of their scam. They still keep sending me emails, just the person sending them is different.

Do not purchase anything from them. They should be ashamed of their "business".

This is by far the worst company I ever…

This is by far the worst company I ever heard of! I was contacted by them on Instagram where they offered me a collaboration. I went to their site and the jewelry looked nice, so I placed an order.
What I received was the cheapest junk I have ever seen!
And now when I try to return it they only give “store credit”. I don’t dare to wear this jewelry as I’m pretty sure I will get nickel allergy
Don’t make the mistake I made and buy something here.

Banni Jewelry review

The jewelry pieces are made in China not Sweden and is not worth the price point of USD75. The company had contacted offering discount under ambassador program. The tracking of the parcel showed the country of origin as China and when I enquired the lady at Banni did not answer my question as to whether the pieces were made in China. The necklace's T bar had come apart on receipt and though it can be reattached it is flimsy and quality is tacky. I found similar made in China necklaces on other websites going for a song.

I just got my items in the mail after…

I just got my items in the mail after waiting a month. I spent $75 it would have been $150 if the lady hadn't given me an "ambassador discount". Which was 50% off. I also was promised a free gift for ordering so quickly. Like the others too I had been bombarded by different women for weeks about doing a collaboration. I checked around on Google and YouTube. Couldn't find anything negative. Their products were my taste and everything seem legit. I also appreciated that it was women owned and that they supposedly used recycled metals. I never received any tracking number either. I contacted them 4 times about my order. I threatened to take action if I didn't receive a refund or my order. I was contacted this morning and told that my order was in my town out for delivery and they were so sorry. I was never notified it had shipped. So I get my order in comes in this tiny little plastic parcel, not what I was expecting from an "upscale" jewelry brand based in Stockholm. Lol The jewelry is cheap and one of the earrings already fell apart. Also no free gift. I checked where it shipped from and it said Thailand. If this brand contacts you beware, they are full of crap. Block them immediately.
