Overall good experience
Easy to book, reception was quick and friendly, car was well appointed.
On return, it was all very quick, and we were whisked away in the shuttle van to the airport terminal.

Rented from the Cairns Bargain car rental location. Car was new and clean. Staff were nice. Wait time for the shuttle from the airport and a very long queue to rent a car at the rental location was a challenge. Bargain focusses on the additional insurance during the rental process. I believe this is why the line move so slowly during the rental process.

Smooth service
We were picked up quickly from Cairns International after an overnight flight and early arrival. The online courtesy bus ordering system worked very well and by 8 am we were in our vehicle having had everything explained and all paperwork signed. The vehicle was clean and modern. The next few days were trouble free and the return process was fast and efficient. I will book with Bargain again, only directly next time and not through a third party platform.

Good value rental car
We liked the car we were given and took out the platinum cover for peace of mind. The pick up and drop off service to and from airport was pretty fast. Overall it was good value for our car rental.

The insurance is confusing. and a bit…
The insurance is confusing and a bit opportunistic really. Not covering damage caused by an animal etc etc. I haven’t double checked but I believe that none of my emails mentioned having to call to get the bus. I knew where to go but I don’t remember knowing to call for pick up.
